I have been looking for airtight container for a while and no other brand really offer this variety and quality at this price. Sometimes it’s a tiny bit difficult to close the lid but it works fine honestly. Water splashes around (especially from the lids) when I try to hand-wash them so I usually put them in the dishwasher. Once again, I love that it offers various sizes and it’s perfect for many food storage scenarios. Keep in mind that it doesn’t completely seal the smell. It is definitely airtight because I tested with water and no leakage at all. But things like onions still make the fridge smell. Internet says this happens with any airtight container due to particles going through the plastic. So this one is great, I absolutely recommend

This is an initial review — the containers came really well packaged, but needed styrofoam for the glass. Nothing was broken. All but two stack nicely within each other. The lids fit snugly and tightly on the glass. These are replacing 10-year old load and lock plastic containers, which I’m keeping for other uses, but I think that these will work better, especially with putting the bottoms in the microwave and dishwasher. I plan to hand wash the tops even though they are top-rack washable. I like that the instructions are printed on the lids and that the lids are in one piece — we also have pyrex containers, and the rings always fall out and the teeter-tooter pressure valves are long gone.

I recently transitioned my storage containers from plastic to glass after hearing that glass is healthier. I’d seen many expensive sets, but after coming across this I decided to take a chance and am SO GLAD I did. The food tastes better, the containers don’t discolor, and the set has a good range of sizes – none of those TINY containers to bump up the number of items in the box. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

After years and years of a drawer full of those cheap, thin plastic storage containers made by Glad or other disposable brands, items you probably shouldn’t put in the microwave, I love these glass containers instead. I was so happy to throw out my old ones. They are quite durable (very thick glass) and look a lot classier than the cheap, plastic containers. Contrary to what others have commented, the lids on the ones I received all fit perfectly and snap snuggly into place, even after running them through the dishwasher a few times. I did have a problem with my initial shipment in that it arrived with some of the containers shattered but Amazon graciously replaced them immediately and I had my new ones 2 days later. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

A friend brought me a dish made like these, but it was plastic. When I found the glass set on Amazon, I had to give them a try.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the build, easy to clean and probably more storage than I will ever use.I also learned the blass portion of the containers can be used in microwaves and ovens alike.Great purchase for the price I paid for the entire set of 20pcs..

I like these glass food containers so much that I recently ordered a set of larger glass containers. Glad I did because Consumer Reports recently issued a warning about using plastic containers because studies have shown that the plastic contaminates the food, especially if it is microwaved in the container.
