Effective and easy to use. If you want to breathe better, definitely invest in one of these. I’ve been pretty impressed with this device so far. It’s ready to use right outside of the box, basically plug and play. It can get a bit loud on higher settings, but it’s pretty quiet on low and you won’t notice it throughout the night. It’s a reasonable size unit that doesn’t take up too much space.

The settings are very basic, but that’s all you really need. If you’ve got a bad smell in your apartment or room, this will purify the air pretty quick. Just leave it on overnight. It also has a timer feature so you can leave it on and forget about it. I also love the nightlight and UVC feature but not sure how useful it’ll be. I am hoping this helps me sleep better and deal with summertime allergies. The filter is easy to clean as well. I’m hoping this thing lasts as I’ve heard replacement parts are hard to find.

Nice. I ordered this air purifier and was not disappointed. It does everything that it is advertised. I love how convenient it is to move around. It does remove the damp smell and the air does smell cleaner. I like that it came with a couple of filters. I haven’t ordered extra filters but will be doing so as needed.

Giving This A Try. I got the HoMedics Total Clean Air Purifier for my sons room hoping it would help with his allergies. It was very easy to set up and use. Very quiet. Great display. I placed the air purifier at least 6 inches away from walls and 3 feet from heat sources. I have had the device turned on for about 2 weeks and I haven’t noticed that it is helping with his allergies. I checked the filter and it still looks brand new. I thought it would have some debris after that much time since we do have 5 cats and 2 dogs and live in the desert where the wind blows dust most days. Maybe it just needs more time? The Air Purifier has a tray where I can add essential oils to scent the room. It comes with (3) Essential Oil Pads. I have not used that yet but I think it’s nice. After shopping for filters and bulbs I find that they are found on the manufacture website and they are quite expensive. To replace the bulb and the filter cost as much as a new air purifier. Depending on how long the original lasts would be the deciding factor on whether I would recommend this product.

works great, whisper quiet as it states. My husband and I already have a purifier for our bedroom, so we put this in my daughter’s room who also struggles with allergies. She wakes up every single morning sneezing… until she started running this at night while she sleeps. It is way quieter than ours (similar to a quiet ceiling fan as a comparison), it’s really quiet, and the ionizer must be working as her allergies have been so much better since she started sleeping with it on. You can also turn the light off if the light bothers you, wish ours had that option too as ours we had to tape over. Couldn’t be happier with it and have nothing negative to say!

Awsome Product Less Noice easy setup. cleans the air, it seems. Every couple of weeks, I vacuum the filter to remove the dust. My dog’s snoring ceased once the doctor suggested we acquire a purifier for him. This stuff is awesome! Because of my allergies, I used it in my dorm room and kept it going round-the-clock. My allergies didn’t bother me nearly as much as usual because of how calm it was. My roommate was never vocal about it! 10/10 would advise! Every time I woke up with a congested nose, none of the nasal sprays he was using helped. I began waking up less and less congested after turning on the air purifier. I didn’t have one this morning. I’m really grateful for this stuff.

I am completely blown away. When I first opened the unit I was immediately aware of how well constructed it is. It’s not some lightweight piece of junk like others sell. I unpacked everything and took all the plastic off I found the charger which is transported inside the air filter plugged it in turned it on and that’s it. It immediately cycled through the modes that it operates under determining the best most suitable mode to run in my home! That just blew my mind. No programming no setting anything It just knows what to do. You can however select the mode you would like to use and it does have a timer which I think would be wonderful to have. I no longer have to turn off air filter when I go to bed. I plan to use this in my home since this is being purchased as replacement for a Hamilton Beach unit that I’ve had for 3 years. Even on its highest fan setting It is incredibly quiet which is a definite improvement over other units I had looked at. The air filter is really easy to remove since it inserts from the bottom of the unit. Once I turned it on it defaulted to the blue color indicator signifying the air quality on my home is considered to be very good.. Love the fact that it has an auto mode for the fan and will adjust it according to what it senses in the air. That means through all four seasons I simply won’t have to worry about anything but cleaning the filter when necessary. That will be easily accomplished using my vacuum cleaner. Like any other HEPAA filter please make sure you do not wash the filter with water. Clean up should be a breeze on the outside by simply wiping down with a dry cloth.

Finally after plugging it in turning it on and learning everything about it I decided to look at the user’s manual which is clear, easy to read and understand. I doubt if I’ll ever need to look at it again but it’s nice to know it’s there! I could not possibly be happier with the quality of this machine. I’m giving it five stars simply because I cannot give it six!

Good for the price. I bought this because I have terrible allergies and needed something to help as most pills don’t. I have had it on already for four hours and have definitely noticed a difference. I feel like I’m breathing better and the air just feels lighter.
Just to know the entire thing is plastic doesn’t seem like it’s heavy duty but for the price it works really well. I’d say it’s more like 200sq ft than 300 though as it is a small size but that was expected by pictures shown. Not noisy to me at all just sounds like a small fan is on. I plan on getting two more for my bedrooms.

Quiet. The Dr. J Professional Air Purifier shipped out very quickly. It was packed well. I found the booklet and such in the bottom of the unit. The instructions were easy to follow. It takes up little space compared to the air purifier I had before, which I really like. I was pleased to find that after it ran through its startup cycle it classed the quality of the air in my home as very good with the blue light. What I like best of all is how quiet it is. I can barely hear it when it is running. I do believe if the air quality in my home was not so good, it might run louder as it cleans.

100% Recommend! I absolutely love my Germ Guardian Air Purifier so much, I have one in each bedroom in our house. This particular one I put in my daughter’s room. We have a cat and a dog and the cat pretty much lives in her room and my daughter also suffers from allergies. She puts this unit on every night for bed and sleeps very comfortably with the air in her room being constantly filtered. She also enjoys the sound of this machine when it is on; it doubles as a white noise machine and she sleeps very comfortably. I take comfort in knowing that everyone in my house is breathing in clean air every single night while they sleep. I also like that the filter lasts a long time and finding replacement filters online are easy…they are also super easy to install and the unit light will go from green to red when it is time to replace. I highly recommend this unit.

I think there are better choices out there. I ran the germ guardian air purifier for a week. We don’t have a particularly dirty house. I checked the filter after a week and it didn’t have very much dust on it. The one thing I don’t like about it is the UB light is visible. So it’s like having a lamp on at night and you can see it. For that reason I probably wouldn’t recommend the product or at least not using the UV light.

Great for the air. Very quiet and easy to setup. I love when I can easily power on a product that’s so essential and the removal of the filter is also easy peasy. I left it on for a few hours when I first got it and did other tasks around the house as it cleaned my air.

Great Air Purifier! I used this GermGuardian Air Purifier upstairs at our lake house – which has a tendency to smell musty after being closed up for the season and it worked like a charm. Cleared the musty smell out in a few hours. I love that it’s fairly unobtrusive and quiet when running. It’s a keeper!

Seems to Work Well. This seems to be working well. It is a good sized unit and we have it running in the kitchen. It removes odors from the air on, but is more of a filter. We will see how the UV light cleaner works when sick season comes around. It is a good value and has a lot of functions and settings.

Clean Air is always great! This unit is ready tonuse right out of the box. A knob to select low – high. Another button to reset the filter light. The filter is ready to use. The outer filter velcros onto the other filter, for easy removing and cleaning. When on high, it sounds about like a box fan on medium. Medium sounds like a box fan on low and low doesn’t have much sound at all, but also puts out very little air. The front screen part doesn’t put air out the full length of it. There’s 2 rectangles within that screen – one at the top, one at the bottom which the air comes out (see pic). I have a different brand of air purifier also. This Germ Guardian unit is quieter, on high, than my current unit. Air purifiers cut down tremendously on dust/allergies. I use to wake up every morning sneezing and blowing my nose. Since having an air purifier, I no longer do that.

This item works!!!! Highly recommended!!!! I have an old house and, while we are trying to fix it up, certain rooms have more than others when it comes to dust and other allergens. My bedroom is a big problem area, which is why I chose to place this Germ Guardian Air Purifier in that particular room. The room tends to be very dusty and smelly due to old carpet. Upon receiving this item, I was impressed that there was no assembly needed. The charcoal and HEPA filters were already installed and all I needed to do was plug it in. There are three settings, a reset button and a indicator light that glows green when the filter is good, and red when it is time to change the filter. The instruction manual included tells you all about which filters you need to purchase. The air purifier sounds like a fan when it is running. I helf off on doing this review for a couple of weeks as I wanted to see how well this item worked to give a genuine review. The first improvement I noticed was the smell! It smelled so much better within hours of using this item. While it is hard to notice right away an improvement with fighting germs and allergens, I have noticed I sleep much better at night since we got this item. Just before writing this, I decided to take a look at the filters and was amazed at just how much dust it has already collected in such a short amount of time! I love this item!!! It works as advertised!

Lots of features. Review of air filter. The filter is easy to change out. I like all the different options that the filter comes with. This has three different fan speeds. It also has a UV-C feature which you can choose to turn on as needed when you would like to kill germs in the air. That’s a unique feature I don’t have on any of my other air filters. This also has a timer. You can choose to run the purifier for a certain preset amount of time. This has a night light feature which you can use to turn the air purifier into a night light, which is really cool. The air purifier runs as normal, and also emits a faint light. The controls on the top are touch screen. I like that the option to activate the child lock is included, that way children cannot easily mess with the touch buttons. I personally have cats that like to walk across my other touch screen air purifiers. I like that this prevents that problem. When this is put into night mode, the lights on the display turn off, and it gets even quieter than the lowest setting. It’s so quiet I can’t really hear it, and I like that feature.

I really wish this had a handle, because it would be easier to move around. But overall it’s a good filter with lots of options. I like that it is round so it pulls in air from all directions. My other filters just pull in air from the sides.

Great air purifier that’s loaded with features. Love this air purifier! It has a clean, modern design. It is quite powerful, but also quiet. Love the ‘automatic’ mode where it adjusts fan speed automatically. Also, I love the ‘lock’ feature so my young daughter can’t mess with the settings. Highly recommend.

Compact, Quiet, But Packs A Punch! This is a great air purifier! I was looking for something small and quiet to purify the air in my house from dust, dog dander (and smell), and other allergens, and this is the perfect device to do so. It has True HEPA H13 filtration so it can clear the air of particles as small as 0.3 microns. It has a sleek design with quite a few settings like automatic filtration, sleep function, and a turbo function for heavy duty cleaning. It is incredibly quite when on lower settings and even on “turbo” it is still more quiet than a box fan. In my opinion this is a fantastic unit for the money. I highly recommend it!

Keeps pet cage smell down. This really helped keep the smell down from my kids rat cage. I was really regretting letting them have the rat because no matter how often the cage gets cleaned there is still a smell. We put this air purifier by the cage and can’t even smell it now.

The filters are outrageous!⁶. works well, but wait until you have to replace that filter WOW! Next time I purchase one i will shop backwards as i will check filters prior to purchasing. i thinks 32 dollars for a filter is crazy. okay so far. i bought this for the bathroom where my husband tries to smoke without me knowing. Its small enough that it can sit on the back of the commode but, large enough to do the job. Hubby says he likes the colored light. Mostly I think he likes me not complaining about him smoking and stinking up the place. lol. We don’t use it post-shower when the room is steamy and it seems to be doing a fine job so far. One drawback- I purchased a replacement filter to have on hand and thought it was expensive

didn’t do much for air quality it was quiet. it didn’t chsnge air qualify i was needing it for mildew and dust. it stopped working after 6 uses.

On my first night using this air purifier, I was able to distinguish the differences. My room is approximately 130 square feet and covers most of my house. I still have a Husky dog coming and going at home, and this purifier can also clean the dog’s air. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Clear the air of musty smells and cooking odors!! This air purifier works very well. I bought it because my son’s room has been smelling very musty lately. I believe it’s been causing him to cough all day and all night and be constantly sick. I am highly impressed that since putting the air purifier in his room he has not been coughing and thankfully he has not been sick. The air purifier itself is large but it’s very quiet so we often forget it’s even running. He can sleep perfectly fine with the machine running. It was super easy to set up. The app works great and is very convenient.

pretty good. i wish it were able to run automatically, but i do like the timer and the child lock. its the perfect height for my cats to sit on, so not pushing buttons with little feet is a good thing.

Air purifier. It’s very useful! Although small in size, it saves a lot of space and can be placed on a table or dressing table, making it lightweight. It’s very quiet here, and with various settings including at night, I feel that my sleep has improved and I feel very at ease.

Simple operation. One in the bedroom and the other in the office, without distracting noise, the bright blue light can be turned off, so there is no glare. This is easy to set up and operate. I don’t understand why people can’t find filters and power cords. The base is just twisted a bit, it should be carefully checked to ensure there is no additional packaging
