Gets the job done well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 Holmes purifiers in my living room. I decided I wanted one for the bedroom. I Really like the window so that you don’t have to disassemble to check for cleaning. Only thing I don’t like is that it is set up to where the cord faces out in front. The book actually tells you which way to turn the unit, not to have the outward fan toward the wall. Such a shame because the other side (with the window) actually is quite stylish. But it works great and I have pets and I can tell a difference even with the smell of the air. It seems so fresh every day now. It is a little noisy, but I like white noise to sleep by anyway, so that is a preference.

Nice but noisy. It is portable, nice for a small bedroom and has a nice design, but the noise is very loud, even on the lowest option. I measured as 68 decibels and the recommended amount so it doesn´t disturb during sleep is less than 30. Maybe this explains the price?
I am used to white noise sound but this one unfortunately is loud even for me. Not sure I can keep it.

Very small spaces. For VERY small spaces, up to 118 sq ft. So unless you’re looking to place this in a closet don’t throw your money away.

Small, but powerful! I recommend. This one workers wonders. I sleep so much better at night. Fresh clean air. I have REALLY bad sinuses, and at night I would be congested. Not with this I have not been. I’ve been sleeping so good. I even got one for my office, and it works wonders! Easy to assemble as well and doesn’t take up space.

Awsome Product Less Noice easy setup. cleans the air, it seems. Every couple of weeks, I vacuum the filter to remove the dust. My dog’s snoring ceased once the doctor suggested we acquire a purifier for him. This stuff is awesome! Because of my allergies, I used it in my dorm room and kept it going round-the-clock. My allergies didn’t bother me nearly as much as usual because of how calm it was. My roommate was never vocal about it! 10/10 would advise! Every time I woke up with a congested nose, none of the nasal sprays he was using helped. I began waking up less and less congested after turning on the air purifier. I didn’t have one this morning. I’m really grateful for this stuff.

amazing product for an amazing price. starting with build quality its very good. fan noise is very low on sleep and normal speed. i use it in one of the bedroom which had a moldy/ mildew smell and it helped decreasing it considerably. all in all im really happy with my purchase up till now and will update my review if things change

quiet and good for bedroom. Seems to work pretty well for a small room, not loud at all, especially on the low and medium settings. High setting is a little bit loud but much less than a typical window air conditioner. We tried to use it in a room that was probably too large for it, I would say definitely a smaller room like maybe 8 to 10′ square.
I think we’ll probably be great for a kids room, because it has lights that you can change different colors or the 1st setting cycle through all the colors so it makes a pretty nightlight when it’s running. And it also has a timer you can preset the shut off.
Biggest negative I can see about it is that the buttons are located on the side but close to the top. And it doesn’t really have a lot of weight at the bottom so you have to put your hand on top of it to push the buttons Or it will try to tip over when you push the button. Not a real big deal. just something you need to get used to

Just to know the entire thing is plastic doesn’t seem like it’s heavy duty but for the price it works really well. I’d say it’s more like 200sq ft than 300 though as it is a small size but that was expected by pictures shown. Not noisy to me at all just sounds like a small fan is on. I plan on getting two more for my bedrooms.

Powers off suddenly without reason :(. Did not power on immediately so I powered off and rechecked to make sure the filters were in place and plugged into a different electric outlet. It then did power on but then shut off a few minutes later. I checked the owners manual and there is no indication that it should power off for any reason by itself. I powered off and back on and it ran for two hours and powered off. The following day I powered on for approx. 3.5 hours and then it shut down. I am returning this item and feel frustrated because when it DOES work it seems to work very nicely in my bedroom. The fragrance (I put lavender oil on the fragrance pad) is dispersed nicely. I might get another one and keep my fingers crossed that it will work properly. I should mention that it arrived via Fedex and they seem to be a bit abusive with boxes so perhaps this malfunction is as a result of that; I have no idea. I’m thankful that returns and exchanges are not a hassle with Walmart and appreciate all the assistance provided to me. A friend told me to go look at air purifiers at Target but why would I want to go there?

Very easy set-up ,Remove from packaging, Rotate the top half of the Air Purifier counterclockwise and remove it from the bottom half. Remove the filter and AC power adapter from inside the air purifier. Remove all the plastic packaging from the filter, Place the filter back into the air purifier. Place the top half of the air purifier directly back onto the the bottom half of the air purifier. Rotate clockwise to secure both halves in place. Connect the AC power adapter to the air purifier, Plug into an outlet. There should be at least 15 inches of clearance on all sides of the air purifier to alow air to circulate freely in and out of the air purifier. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

Very easy set-up ,Remove from packaging, Rotate the top half of the Air Purifier counterclockwise and remove it from the bottom half. Remove the filter and AC power adapter from inside the air purifier. Remove all the plastic packaging from the filter, Place the filter back into the air purifier. Place the top half of the air purifier directly back onto the the bottom half of the air purifier. Rotate clockwise to secure both halves in place. Connect the AC power adapter to the air purifier, Plug into an outlet. There should be at least 15 inches of clearance on all sides of the air purifier to alow air to circulate freely in and out of the air purifier. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

doesnt ionize. its got an official filter. self sealing. good airflow so i will keep it but it doesnt ionize. There is a button you flip that lights up but it doesnt appear to be connected to anything. its sealed in the top where there is no airflow so i do not see how it would work….

Dispels any confusion. Day and night, I keep the unit turned on. I turn it on to level 2 at night to get rid of the cat dander and day-old smells. Since I smoke throughout the day, I set it to automatically turn off. It levels up at a distance of approximately 12 feet as I light a cigarette. Wow, that’s incredible!

I like how small this unit is. It’s not loud, so that’s good too. I didn’t realize this thing is one speed ~ it’s either on or off. I’d love it if it had at least two speeds. And there’s a blue light that it emits that can’t be turned off. If the one-speed unit is on, the blue light is on. I ended up ordering a legit HEPA unit (which this isn’t). Also, and it’s totally not just this one, the air goes out the top. Like on a low-speed air cleaner, who wants to hang their head over the top all the time? I made a tin foil thing for the top to direct the air to my face, where it should be. The HEPA unit I got after this purchase can be positioned however I want it ~ clean air to the face, please! And it’s chargable/rechargable so I can take it with. Best thing about this is that I learned a lot and fixed the problems with the subsequent purchase.

An unquestionable necessity. This item was purchased by me because I have five animals. In my bedroom, it appeared as though the dust was out of control more often than not. In a remarkable way, it has evolved! As a result, allergies are less severe for both humans and animals, and the air is lighter.

Breathing better again. I purchased 3 through the Black Friday Deal. These have really helped my breathing and my throat doesnt constantly feel sore. I have 3 cats. The dander fur and dust from the litter are allergen triggers. Constant cleaning vacuuming and now these air purifier ionizers are great combinations to keep down allergens.

Pure Junk. Not as described in description on Walmart. Extremely cheap plastic and doesn’t work like it says it should.

Works Wonders! I bought this for my mom as a bday gift and she loves it esp the lights, at night they are beautiful. The air purifier helps her sleep good through the night now and I too can get some rest!

Great air filter for the price! It’s has a nice design %26 aesthetic. The dim lights are great for a night light and change colors or can be set for 1 non changing color. It most definitely cleans the air of smoke %26 stale home smells. I notice within 30 minutes or less, floating dust particles, pet dander, smoke (both kinds, smiles) and candle soot smell is 100% gone. I leave it on now 24/7 . The white noise sound is comforting. I use this in a 10* 16 living room that adjoins my 10 x20 kitchen, cleans air quality effortlessly. I just bought a 2nd one for my bedroom. Filter type is listed in owners manual %26 can be purchased at target and Walmart online, pricing on that is also affordable. Lastly, I DID read reviews and purchsed the added insurance for $4.00 good for 2 years, just in case I have any issues down the road. I figured if it stops working after 2 years, for the price, I will just replace it! Great buy %26 I DID buy a 2nd one. Would repurchase, 10 out of 10

Disappointed. This air purifier is very loud, and after only 2 weeks of running it occasionally (turned off at night due to the noise), it has started making a grinding noise, then shuts off and beeps.

I needed it from my house this doesn’t have any circulations up in the attic in the big of it’s 12 Apartments and there’s no circulation up in the attic so there’s a lot of ducks so I have I’ve got five or six if you will find it in my house and I have to open up my windows and blow the fan out too so there ain’t no

Fresh Atmosphere. I have an older white tower which works Wonderful and it’s much quieter than this one. I received this item but have not used yet as it is a gift. The price was competitive. My dissatisfaction is with the inability to buy the straight talk phone cards online due to false claims of fraud then system glitches or whatever prevented the e card codes to be sent. We are dependant on our phones and 2 days without relief of the situation except me having to drive to a physical walmart is unacceptable in this competitive time of online shopping.

Love this. Perfect for mid size hotel room. I have small dog and travel for work. This is mid size, and works great. I’m currently in nice but older hotel that is a little stale but clean. Within 20 min room smells amazing. I used just the store brand lemongrass oil in it. Amazing. Great price. And I did research. The filters are affordably priced compared to others especially if by in bulk.
