Gets the job done well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 Holmes purifiers in my living room. I decided I wanted one for the bedroom. I Really like the window so that you don’t have to disassemble to check for cleaning. Only thing I don’t like is that it is set up to where the cord faces out in front. The book actually tells you which way to turn the unit, not to have the outward fan toward the wall. Such a shame because the other side (with the window) actually is quite stylish. But it works great and I have pets and I can tell a difference even with the smell of the air. It seems so fresh every day now. It is a little noisy, but I like white noise to sleep by anyway, so that is a preference.

Nice but noisy. It is portable, nice for a small bedroom and has a nice design, but the noise is very loud, even on the lowest option. I measured as 68 decibels and the recommended amount so it doesn´t disturb during sleep is less than 30. Maybe this explains the price?
I am used to white noise sound but this one unfortunately is loud even for me. Not sure I can keep it.

Very small spaces. For VERY small spaces, up to 118 sq ft. So unless you’re looking to place this in a closet don’t throw your money away.

Small But Mighty!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are several pros/great features when it comes to the Levoit Core Mini Air Purifier. First is that it’s very compact compared to older purifiers(11″ tall x 6″ diameter). Saves on space and isn’t an eye-sore. Second, It’s small, but mighty. It’s able to filter the air approximately twice per hour in a 178 square ft(15′ X 12′) room. Perfect for most bedrooms, a bathroom, home-office, library, etc. Third is the ease of operation and its quiet noise level. 1 power button brings you through all 4 settings. Press it once for On/Low fan; twice for Medium fan; three times for High fan; and a fourth turns it Off. That’s all there is to it! The noise level of the low fan is comparable to a “peaceful night”, and the high fan is quieter than a “library”. If you need white noise to help you sleep, use this in another room. If total quiet is desire while sleeping, this is your machine! Lastly, the HEPA filtration system traps 97% of airborne particles in 3-stages. Hair, lint, and fur in the Pre-Filter stage. Pollen, pet dander, and dust in the HEPA Filter stage. And it neutralizes household odors, smoke and fumes in the third, Activated Carbon Filter stage. You can carefully vacuum the inside of the purifier the outer pre-filter to clean it, however; the HEPA and Carbon filters should be replaced every 4-6 months depending on use.
One negative for me is the Aroma feature. It says to add 5-7 drops of essential oil to the aroma pad to add an aroma to your room. The box the pad sits in looks like a mini shoe box without a lid. The bottom and sides are solid(no ventilation holes). Air is drawn into the lower filter area, it’s filtered, and then blown up AROUND the Aroma Box(not THROUGH), and is directed out the top. I could barely smell the oil, so I added several more drops but had the same outcome. It seems to me that the box should have some holes in it so air will filter through the Aroma Pad taking the scent with it. Find another way to add aroma to your room. I’m not a rocket scientist, but those my thoughts on this feature.
All in all, this is a great little air purifier! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small, quiet, powerful purifier!

quiet and good for bedroom. Seems to work pretty well for a small room, not loud at all, especially on the low and medium settings. High setting is a little bit loud but much less than a typical window air conditioner. We tried to use it in a room that was probably too large for it, I would say definitely a smaller room like maybe 8 to 10′ square.
I think we’ll probably be great for a kids room, because it has lights that you can change different colors or the 1st setting cycle through all the colors so it makes a pretty nightlight when it’s running. And it also has a timer you can preset the shut off.
Biggest negative I can see about it is that the buttons are located on the side but close to the top. And it doesn’t really have a lot of weight at the bottom so you have to put your hand on top of it to push the buttons Or it will try to tip over when you push the button. Not a real big deal. just something you need to get used to

Powers off suddenly without reason :(. Did not power on immediately so I powered off and rechecked to make sure the filters were in place and plugged into a different electric outlet. It then did power on but then shut off a few minutes later. I checked the owners manual and there is no indication that it should power off for any reason by itself. I powered off and back on and it ran for two hours and powered off. The following day I powered on for approx. 3.5 hours and then it shut down. I am returning this item and feel frustrated because when it DOES work it seems to work very nicely in my bedroom. The fragrance (I put lavender oil on the fragrance pad) is dispersed nicely. I might get another one and keep my fingers crossed that it will work properly. I should mention that it arrived via Fedex and they seem to be a bit abusive with boxes so perhaps this malfunction is as a result of that; I have no idea. I’m thankful that returns and exchanges are not a hassle with Walmart and appreciate all the assistance provided to me. A friend told me to go look at air purifiers at Target but why would I want to go there?

I’m loving this Mini Air Purifier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Levoit Core Mini Air Purifier is such a great unit to have around my house! I love the lightweight, portable and compact design if this air purifier. It doesn’t take a lot of space, easy to operate and works amazingly well to filter the air inside my house. So no need for me to worry about dust and pollen and much more that might get transferred inside the house from pests, humans and air. The unit runs smoothly and quietly, and exceeds my expectations. It does such amazing job filtering hair, lint, pest’ hair and fibers from the carpet. Love brand, not this model. Go bigger size. Its tiny for an office space, but too tiny for it to do any good. Im talking 2 desks and a filing cabinet is all that barely fits in my office so nothing massive and I keep my door shut no windows for outside yuck to constantly come in. I leave this thing on full blast 24/7 and it isnt worth the electricity. I have the model core200 in my bedroom plus another bedroom and its a life saver for us allergy people in house. Spend the extra for atleast the 200 vs this one thats 40 bucks cheaper. Love this brand, it wasnt popular back when I purchased my original 200. Now it is top rated amongst all purifiers brand wise. doesnt ionize. its got an official filter. self sealing. good airflow so i will keep it but it doesnt ionize. There is a button you flip that lights up but it doesnt appear to be connected to anything. its sealed in the top where there is no airflow so i do not see how it would work….

And there’s a blue light that it emits that can’t be turned off. If the one-speed unit is on, the blue light is on. I ended up ordering a legit HEPA unit (which this isn’t). Also, and it’s totally not just this one, the air goes out the top. Like on a low-speed air cleaner, who wants to hang their head over the top all the time? I made a tin foil thing for the top to direct the air to my face, where it should be. The HEPA unit I got after this purchase can be positioned however I want it ~ clean air to the face, please! And it’s chargable/rechargable so I can take it with. Best thing about this is that I learned a lot and fixed the problems with the subsequent purchase.

more of a review Walmart. so I was actually looking up for a miniature indoor air conditioner and I clicked on the first thing that popped up at whenever I search for that which was instead an air purifier so I mostly just upset at Walmart cuz I can’t cancel the order and it’s telling me that it’s going to be about a week before I can receive it’s just to take it back.

Breathing better again. I purchased 3 through the Black Friday Deal. These have really helped my breathing and my throat doesnt constantly feel sore. I have 3 cats. The dander fur and dust from the litter are allergen triggers. Constant cleaning vacuuming and now these air purifier ionizers are great combinations to keep down allergens.

Works Wonders! I bought this for my mom as a bday gift and she loves it esp the lights, at night they are beautiful. The air purifier helps her sleep good through the night now and I too can get some rest!

Great air filter for the price! It’s has a nice design %26 aesthetic. The dim lights are great for a night light and change colors or can be set for 1 non changing color. It most definitely cleans the air of smoke %26 stale home smells. I notice within 30 minutes or less, floating dust particles, pet dander, smoke (both kinds, smiles) and candle soot smell is 100% gone. I leave it on now 24/7 . The white noise sound is comforting. I use this in a 10* 16 living room that adjoins my 10 x20 kitchen, cleans air quality effortlessly. I just bought a 2nd one for my bedroom. Filter type is listed in owners manual %26 can be purchased at target and Walmart online, pricing on that is also affordable. Lastly, I DID read reviews and purchsed the added insurance for $4.00 good for 2 years, just in case I have any issues down the road. I figured if it stops working after 2 years, for the price, I will just replace it! Great buy %26 I DID buy a 2nd one. Would repurchase, 10 out of 10

Disappointed. This air purifier is very loud, and after only 2 weeks of running it occasionally (turned off at night due to the noise), it has started making a grinding noise, then shuts off and beeps.

Great purchase. This product is wonderful. It is compact so it doesn’t take up much space. It is very quiet. It has reduced the amount of dust and particles at least 60%. Our house is extremely dusty and there is a huge difference. We have purchased one of these for each room of the house. I would definitely recommend this product!

I needed it from my house this doesn’t have any circulations up in the attic in the big of it’s 12 Apartments and there’s no circulation up in the attic so there’s a lot of ducks so I have I’ve got five or six if you will find it in my house and I have to open up my windows and blow the fan out too so there ain’t no

Fresh Atmosphere. I have an older white tower which works Wonderful and it’s much quieter than this one. However, the sound of this one has NOT impeded my sleeping. it’s actually therapy and the air is fresh. Now I have 1 for Upstairs and Downstairs. Nice little purifier. Whisper quiet on the low setting. Even on the highest setting it isn’t that loud. My wife and I have a newborn and love it for soft ambient background noise. Seems to be doing a great job. Haven’t had to change the filter and we constantly have it running. Although, we haven’t had it for very long.

No charging cord. Did not come with a charging/ power/ plug in cord. Read the product details 3 times- no mention of this or the type of cord needed. Also read the little “manual” it came with twice- no mention. No other reviews on the product to know this. Can’t comment on the product’s effectiveness since I can’t even turn it on without a power cord.

Clean air. For more than one month, I have utilized this product on a daily basis. It functions exceptionally well, providing me with fresh air following an extended period of sleep. Additionally, it mitigates food aromas that accumulate in my chamber subsequent to meals.

it was suprisingly better than expected. I liked how it cleaned the basement. without even going in the basement. To make it as much sense as possible it was like when I did bring it down after a few hours of it being upstairs, ot completely filtered the whole house.

Holmes air purifier. This filter works great. Its the second one used in my home for dog dander.
Works great, however keep in mind it requires dust cleaning. I blow out the filter with air compressor blower .
It is a great tool to help eliminate dust and pet dander.

Bought this one for my son’s room and bought the RENPHO air purifier for hubby’s and my room. Highly recommend both products . They both do what they claim .

It doesn’t clean the smog and second hand smoke from my small room. when I purchased item I read the description first and was suprised that it isn’t working to the level I need it to. It’s more like a fan. This does not seem to filter anything out. It just blows cold air into the room

small in area. It works great so far. There was a crazy amount of concrete dust in my house when construction was going on, but now that I’ve cleaned it and turned it on, the air doesn’t seem as dirty and smelly. It makes some noise when it’s on high, but it’s nice and quiet when it’s in sleep mode.

The room was cleared of an excessive number of fragrances after utilizing it for a few hours. My asthma has already begun to subside. The item was larger than expected; however, it sits comfortably on a nightstand.

Small and quiet. Bought for my son’s bedroom to help with dust allergies. It’s easy to use and is practically silent on the lowest setting. The display lights also turn off after a few seconds, so no lights are on during operation. This brand was recommended by Good Housekeeping.

Small but works well. I really like the compact size. This filter fits perfectly on my nightstand. I like the fact that I can plug it into the wall, or a USB port. It seems to be working well. My apartment gets very dusty for what reason, I don’t know. I have this in my bedroom, which is on the small size but not really small. I know it’s working because I do the “dust check” and my furniture is not getting too dusty and I am not breathing in the dust particles. I would not try and put it in a medium to large room. I have a bigger filter in my dining room that cover the dining room, living room, and the kitchen. (Bought from Walmart also). I do recommend this product if you want to keep dust at a minimum.

Slightly Costly. This purifier worked really well to collect the second-hand smoke smell that was seeping into my apartment from the other tenants smoking in their apartments. It works exceptionally well, but you do have to replace the filter about every 3-months (instead of the 6-months).

After 3-months of usage, on the lowest of settings, the purifier will give off a potent “dirty wet sock” smell. After replacing the filter the smell does disappear, but the smell will re-appear in another 3 months.

The purifier itself does work, but the filter for it can get quite costly with having to replace it every 3-months to get rid of the “dirty wet sock” smell.

Quiet Air Purifier. This air purifier is very compact %26amazingly quiet which I need as we have a small bedroom. It has 3 settings %26we have it on the second setting all night %26can barely hear it. On the first setting you don’t hear it at all. We have only had it a week but unfortunately so far it hasn’t helped my allergies. However I have severe allergies that not much help. I do like everything else about it.

I hate it. I dislike the whole product in general. It states that it’s supposed to filter this filter that and it doesn’t you have to physically clean the filter wipe it down constantly. I’m literally not changing the filter, but wiping it down because it collects too much dust or collects too much something and then it stops working it shut off once I remove the filter wipe the filter down all that nonsense every day mind and it’ll work for about an hour or two then I’ll have to go ahead and do the same thing the plug-in and the filter wipe the filter down whole machine down. I absolutely hate it. It is a huge hassle.
