Cheap But Good! This small & simple unit is a good buy, I purchased one for a small office with no windows or moving air & another one for a bedroom. The replacement filters are not expensive either.
Both seems to aid in controlling the stuffiness with my sinuses. They’re fairly quiet like a low fan on the lowest setting & well worth it.

Great for a small room. I purchased this unit for a small bed room, at the price I thought I would be cheap and not work. I was wrong. Since it is for my bed room I have made plans to run it 24/7 and the highest level is really to loud I would only use that if I have a really bad smell, but level one changed the atmosphere in my room in about an hour. It compliments the whole house ionizer, As far as how long will it last I am not sure, I will change the filter as is says once every three months with a 6 dollar filter. So its not like a huge investment. I am happy with my buy and I will purchase more in the future as gifts for others, I think its that great.

Very quiet but works great! I bought three during the sale: 1 for my bedroom, 1 for my office, and 1 for travel. The office one works the hardest because the room is 400 square feet, but it cleans the air enough that everyone who walks in can tell the difference! In my bedroom there isn’t as much dust and I don’t sneeze when I move around in there. I used the other in a hotel just this weekend. I set it up, put it on 2-high, and went out for dinner and a show. Wow, what a difference it made in just 4 hours! Well worth the price and the filters are very reasonable. Great product!

fan works. Having never used an air purifier before, I noticed no difference in air quality. The unit was placed in a room with birds & cats. After 10 days of night use only the filter was exactly the same & breathing for the one it was purchased for never improved. Walmart processes a return easily.

great little machine. Bought one for my daughter’s college dorm room. She was waking up in the morning with terrible allergies. Within the first 2 hrs on the high setting she noticed a difference in the room. The next morning she was fine, no allergies. They even leave the window open with a box fan running besides the air purifier. So I had to buy one for my home. My living room is about the size of 2-1/2 dorm rooms. We have a dog that sheds constantly and I just could not get the dog smell out of the room. Have been running it for a week now and you can’t even tell we have any animals. Would highly recommend for any smaller space. You can’t beat this machine for the money. Just wish the filters weren’t almost half the price of the machine itself, but still worth it.

Air purifier. I bought this air purifier for my desk at work, we have mold in the building and my co-workers and I are having allergy symptoms to this. I just started using this one day ago but can already feel a difference. It has a nice hum on low, a bit louder on high, but who cares, as long as it gets the job done!

Nice little filter. I am using this for the laundry room to keep the dust down and it works very well. For under 20 bucks I would say it is worth the price. I have not had to change the filter yet but when I was looking inside the unit, I removed the filter and putting it back in place was extremely easy. It’s a foolproof air filter. It is running all the time and I have noticed the very back where the filter intake it has noticible dust build up so I know for sure it is doing its job. I usually clean that off when it accumulates and I hope it prolongs the filter life.

Christmas Gift. I bought this for my mom as a Christmas Gift. My mom is a extremely heavy smoker, she lives in a small apartment for elderly. It works wonderfully! Now her apartment is still stinky of smoke but that little thing took a lot of that smell out! I plan on buying her a bigger one of the Holmes brand. It was normally priced at 17.43 @ Walmart.com but they had a price reduction at time of pick up of $3 very impressed by that also. No one on my home smokes but I would love to get a Holmes Air purifier for my home. I give it 10 ⭐️

Good Little Device. This little air purifier pretty much performs as advertised. It is good for a small room; I use it in my computer room/office which is 10’x8′. I am certain my office is less dusty now than it was! The only small issue is that it claims the ionizer is optional, but it’s not. It runs whenever the fan is on, and there is no button to turn it on or off, nor any indicator that it’s running. In fact, I have to take there word for it that there even IS an ionizer in it. I have no way of verifying it. But overall, I would recommend it, especially because it is so economical.

Smokers. This really eliminates the smoke and smell if u use it in a small room. My husband will smoke in the little bathroom in the basement when the weather is bad and sometimes I could smell it from upstairs but since we got this I haven’t noticed a thing.

Gets the job done well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 Holmes purifiers in my living room. I decided I wanted one for the bedroom. I Really like the window so that you don’t have to disassemble to check for cleaning. Only thing I don’t like is that it is set up to where the cord faces out in front. The book actually tells you which way to turn the unit, not to have the outward fan toward the wall. Such a shame because the other side (with the window) actually is quite stylish. But it works great and I have pets and I can tell a difference even with the smell of the air. It seems so fresh every day now. It is a little noisy, but I like white noise to sleep by anyway, so that is a preference.

It’s very small. Makes lot of fan sound. I didn’t keep it cause I wanted it for my living room and the sound made it hard to hear my tv. I believe it would of worked good had I kept it. The filter is very easy to change. I took it off the back to see the inside of it. Thats about it.

Nice but noisy. It is portable, nice for a small bedroom and has a nice design, but the noise is very loud, even on the lowest option. I measured as 68 decibels and the recommended amount so it doesn´t disturb during sleep is less than 30. Maybe this explains the price?
I am used to white noise sound but this one unfortunately is loud even for me. Not sure I can keep it.

Very small spaces. For VERY small spaces, up to 118 sq ft. So unless you’re looking to place this in a closet don’t throw your money away.

Garbage Product. I was so excited when I saw this on Clearance. It was a great opportunity to start practicing for the first time how the air purifiers work. And now I know why it was on Clearance, it didn’t turn on at all and followed all the instructions. Connected it to an actual wall outlet just in case and nothing.

Small But Mighty!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are several pros/great features when it comes to the Levoit Core Mini Air Purifier. First is that it’s very compact compared to older purifiers(11″ tall x 6″ diameter). Saves on space and isn’t an eye-sore. Second, It’s small, but mighty. It’s able to filter the air approximately twice per hour in a 178 square ft(15′ X 12′) room. Perfect for most bedrooms, a bathroom, home-office, library, etc. Third is the ease of operation and its quiet noise level. 1 power button brings you through all 4 settings. Press it once for On/Low fan; twice for Medium fan; three times for High fan; and a fourth turns it Off. That’s all there is to it! The noise level of the low fan is comparable to a “peaceful night”, and the high fan is quieter than a “library”. If you need white noise to help you sleep, use this in another room. If total quiet is desire while sleeping, this is your machine! Lastly, the HEPA filtration system traps 97% of airborne particles in 3-stages. Hair, lint, and fur in the Pre-Filter stage. Pollen, pet dander, and dust in the HEPA Filter stage. And it neutralizes household odors, smoke and fumes in the third, Activated Carbon Filter stage. You can carefully vacuum the inside of the purifier the outer pre-filter to clean it, however; the HEPA and Carbon filters should be replaced every 4-6 months depending on use.
One negative for me is the Aroma feature. It says to add 5-7 drops of essential oil to the aroma pad to add an aroma to your room. The box the pad sits in looks like a mini shoe box without a lid. The bottom and sides are solid(no ventilation holes). Air is drawn into the lower filter area, it’s filtered, and then blown up AROUND the Aroma Box(not THROUGH), and is directed out the top. I could barely smell the oil, so I added several more drops but had the same outcome. It seems to me that the box should have some holes in it so air will filter through the Aroma Pad taking the scent with it. Find another way to add aroma to your room. I’m not a rocket scientist, but those my thoughts on this feature.
All in all, this is a great little air purifier! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small, quiet, powerful purifier!

Please do not buy! You are definitely wasting your money purchasing this product. I live in a small apartment and purchased this in hopes that it would eliminate the smoking from my neighbors but it does absolutely nothing! I have had this thing for over 3 weeks and no change whatsoever. I never write reviews but I had to warn other buyers about thia one. extremely disappointing and a waste of money.

Particularly i like noisy air purifiers since the noise makes me fall asleep faster, this one is quite and i was planning to use it as a fan too but the air in this one comes out from the top, anyway it does purifies the air and for the price you are getting a good deal

quiet and good for bedroom. Seems to work pretty well for a small room, not loud at all, especially on the low and medium settings. High setting is a little bit loud but much less than a typical window air conditioner. We tried to use it in a room that was probably too large for it, I would say definitely a smaller room like maybe 8 to 10′ square.
I think we’ll probably be great for a kids room, because it has lights that you can change different colors or the 1st setting cycle through all the colors so it makes a pretty nightlight when it’s running. And it also has a timer you can preset the shut off.
Biggest negative I can see about it is that the buttons are located on the side but close to the top. And it doesn’t really have a lot of weight at the bottom so you have to put your hand on top of it to push the buttons Or it will try to tip over when you push the button. Not a real big deal. just something you need to get used to

It has helped my chronic nighttime congestion that seemed to show up when I was sleeping. It has been so much better with this purifier. I am very happy with my purchase. The only negative is when you put it on nighttime mode the fan is always on low along with low light for sleep. I wish I could have it on medium fan at night, and still have the low light. Still very happy! I also use the “lock mode” when my two year old grandson comes over. It works great.

Powers off suddenly without reason :(. Did not power on immediately so I powered off and rechecked to make sure the filters were in place and plugged into a different electric outlet. It then did power on but then shut off a few minutes later. I checked the owners manual and there is no indication that it should power off for any reason by itself. I powered off and back on and it ran for two hours and powered off. The following day I powered on for approx. 3.5 hours and then it shut down. I am returning this item and feel frustrated because when it DOES work it seems to work very nicely in my bedroom. The fragrance (I put lavender oil on the fragrance pad) is dispersed nicely. I might get another one and keep my fingers crossed that it will work properly. I should mention that it arrived via Fedex and they seem to be a bit abusive with boxes so perhaps this malfunction is as a result of that; I have no idea. I’m thankful that returns and exchanges are not a hassle with Walmart and appreciate all the assistance provided to me. A friend told me to go look at air purifiers at Target but why would I want to go there?

Very easy set-up ,Remove from packaging, Rotate the top half of the Air Purifier counterclockwise and remove it from the bottom half. Remove the filter and AC power adapter from inside the air purifier. Remove all the plastic packaging from the filter, Place the filter back into the air purifier. Place the top half of the air purifier directly back onto the the bottom half of the air purifier. Rotate clockwise to secure both halves in place. Connect the AC power adapter to the air purifier, Plug into an outlet. There should be at least 15 inches of clearance on all sides of the air purifier to alow air to circulate freely in and out of the air purifier. Place the top half of the air purifier directly back onto the the bottom half of the air purifier. Rotate clockwise to secure both halves in place. Connect the AC power adapter to the air purifier, Plug into an outlet. Not bad…. Our rental was previously rented by the neighbors cat lady so our third bedroom is the worst in terms of the cat smell it does help some and fairly quite but it seems kinda cheap. Might upgrade to something better. Maybe don’t waste your money unless your desperate.

Doesn’t work. It doesn’t work. My neighbor smokes in our non smoking complex. This machine has no effect on the fumes that get into my apartment. The room I have it in is small. This machine doesn’t do anything as one of the reviews stated. It’s just wasting my electricity. Maybe I got a defective one because I see more good reviews than bad.

doesnt ionize. its got an official filter. self sealing. good airflow so i will keep it but it doesnt ionize. There is a button you flip that lights up but it doesnt appear to be connected to anything. its sealed in the top where there is no airflow so i do not see how it would work….

Dispels any confusion. Day and night, I keep the unit turned on. I turn it on to level 2 at night to get rid of the cat dander and day-old smells. Since I smoke throughout the day, I set it to automatically turn off. It levels up at a distance of approximately 12 feet as I light a cigarette. Wow, that’s incredible!

And it’s chargable/rechargable so I can take it with. Best thing about this is that I learned a lot and fixed the problems with the subsequent purchase.

Quiet, but powerful! This air purifier is a true Hepa air purifier that comes with a lifetime warranty if the filter is replaced according to the user manual suggestion. The filter is estimated to last an average of 3000 hours, but the unit does have a built-in indicator light that will illuminate; telling the user it is time to change the filter.

The control panel has more functionality than one might expect; complete with a child/pet lock, sleep mode, and timer button. There are also various speed settings, but even at the top speed (turbo) the unit is quiet—no louder than a box fan might be.

The bright LED display face shows the air quality and the PM2.5 (particle pollution) level. The unit also comes with a remote control, but I do wish the remote was just a little larger.

This unit is compact, yet sturdy, and has done a wonderful job in an open concept room. With built in handles, one can also easily move this to other rooms.

One last feature to note (which is very helpful for a quick glance across the room), the LED display also correlates to colors that light up based on the air quality–blue (very good)–red (polluted); which is another nice feature for easy indicator reading. An unquestionable necessity. This item was purchased by me because I have five animals. In my bedroom, it appeared as though the dust was out of control more often than not. In a remarkable way, it has evolved! As a result, allergies are less severe for both humans and animals, and the air is lighter.

Air purifier. I think it’s helped the air quality… the lights are pretty cool. I like it so far..

Compact and quiet. This air purifier is smaller and more compact than others I’ve had, yet it is much more efficient in my opinion and super quiet. We keep it in our large, high ceiling family room on the auto setting. It increases its filtration at times I expect it to, but also kicks into higher gear, protecting us even before I can tell the air is compromised. It also comes with a remote that is very responsive. Great little powerhouse.

Breathing better again. I purchased 3 through the Black Friday Deal. These have really helped my breathing and my throat doesnt constantly feel sore. I have 3 cats. The dander fur and dust from the litter are allergen triggers. Constant cleaning vacuuming and now these air purifier ionizers are great combinations to keep down allergens.

Disappointed. This air purifier is very loud, and after only 2 weeks of running it occasionally (turned off at night due to the noise), it has started making a grinding noise, then shuts off and beeps.

It has a button on top that you are suppose to touch not press (couldn’t press it anyway) to get it to come on and it would not come on after trying many, many times! Works perfect. This Air purifier works very well for me. I put it on my bedroom as I cough recently especially at night because of the dust and other poor Air quality issues. I stopped coughing since this purifier started to work

Not really worth it. The air purifier is quiet but I really don’t know if it’s doing anything. My sinuses have been more plugged up and I’ve been sneezing more since I started using it. I may return it.

Great purchase. This product is wonderful. It is compact so it doesn’t take up much space. It is very quiet. It has reduced the amount of dust and particles at least 60%. Our house is extremely dusty and there is a huge difference. We have purchased one of these for each room of the house. I would definitely recommend this product!

Fresh Atmosphere. I have an older white tower which works Wonderful and it’s much quieter than this one. However, the sound of this one has NOT impeded my sleeping. it’s actually therapy and the air is fresh. Now I have 1 for Upstairs and Downstairs.
