Cheap But Good! This small & simple unit is a good buy, I purchased one for a small office with no windows or moving air & another one for a bedroom. The replacement filters are not expensive either.
Both seems to aid in controlling the stuffiness with my sinuses. They’re fairly quiet like a low fan on the lowest setting & well worth it.

Great for a small room. I purchased this unit for a small bed room, at the price I thought I would be cheap and not work. I was wrong. Since it is for my bed room I have made plans to run it 24/7 and the highest level is really to loud I would only use that if I have a really bad smell, but level one changed the atmosphere in my room in about an hour. It compliments the whole house ionizer, As far as how long will it last I am not sure, I will change the filter as is says once every three months with a 6 dollar filter. So its not like a huge investment. I am happy with my buy and I will purchase more in the future as gifts for others, I think its that great.

fan works. Having never used an air purifier before, I noticed no difference in air quality. The unit was placed in a room with birds & cats. After 10 days of night use only the filter was exactly the same & breathing for the one it was purchased for never improved. Walmart processes a return easily.

Within the first 2 hrs on the high setting she noticed a difference in the room. The next morning she was fine, no allergies. They even leave the window open with a box fan running besides the air purifier. So I had to buy one for my home. My living room is about the size of 2-1/2 dorm rooms. We have a dog that sheds constantly and I just could not get the dog smell out of the room. Have been running it for a week now and you can’t even tell we have any animals. Would highly recommend for any smaller space. You can’t beat this machine for the money. Just wish the filters weren’t almost half the price of the machine itself, but still worth it.

I just started using this one day ago but can already feel a difference. It has a nice hum on low, a bit louder on high, but who cares, as long as it gets the job done!

Nice little filter. I am using this for the laundry room to keep the dust down and it works very well. For under 20 bucks I would say it is worth the price. I have not had to change the filter yet but when I was looking inside the unit, I removed the filter and putting it back in place was extremely easy. It’s a foolproof air filter. It is running all the time and I have noticed the very back where the filter intake it has noticible dust build up so I know for sure it is doing its job. I usually clean that off when it accumulates and I hope it prolongs the filter life.

I have no way of verifying it. But overall, I would recommend it, especially because it is so economical.

Smokers. This really eliminates the smoke and smell if u use it in a small room. My husband will smoke in the little bathroom in the basement when the weather is bad and sometimes I could smell it from upstairs but since we got this I haven’t noticed a thing.

Gets the job done well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 Holmes purifiers in my living room. I decided I wanted one for the bedroom. I Really like the window so that you don’t have to disassemble to check for cleaning. Only thing I don’t like is that it is set up to where the cord faces out in front. The book actually tells you which way to turn the unit, not to have the outward fan toward the wall. Such a shame because the other side (with the window) actually is quite stylish. But it works great and I have pets and I can tell a difference even with the smell of the air. It seems so fresh every day now. It is a little noisy, but I like white noise to sleep by anyway, so that is a preference.

Pretty good! I love this little thing! it’s cheap but does the job. the only con is that it is very loud. there’s 2 settings and I don’t see the use in ever turning it up to high because it gets even louder and I’m scared it might even break. it’s also pretty small, so it’s perfect for my room.

LOUD. Even on low speed, this is louder than my large room air filter. I like having a washable pre-filter, and having a main filter that lasts a whole year. I could see using this instead of a white noise machine for those who use one, but for those of us who like quiet when we sleep, this filter will need to be turned off at bedtime.

Nice but noisy. It is portable, nice for a small bedroom and has a nice design, but the noise is very loud, even on the lowest option. I measured as 68 decibels and the recommended amount so it doesn´t disturb during sleep is less than 30. Maybe this explains the price?
I am used to white noise sound but this one unfortunately is loud even for me. Not sure I can keep it.

Very small spaces. For VERY small spaces, up to 118 sq ft. So unless you’re looking to place this in a closet don’t throw your money away.

Great!!! Love this purifier. Within an hour of using this my living room did not have a musky smell to it. It is no louder than a small fan. The only issue i did have is i could not find the replacement filters for it on the Walmart website. But i did find them on Amazon. I did purchase a second purifier for my kitchen. I do recommend this purifier.

Garbage Product. I was so excited when I saw this on Clearance. It was a great opportunity to start practicing for the first time how the air purifiers work. And now I know why it was on Clearance, it didn’t turn on at all and followed all the instructions. Connected it to an actual wall outlet just in case and nothing.

Small But Mighty!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are several pros/great features when it comes to the Levoit Core Mini Air Purifier. First is that it’s very compact compared to older purifiers(11″ tall x 6″ diameter). Saves on space and isn’t an eye-sore. Second, It’s small, but mighty. It’s able to filter the air approximately twice per hour in a 178 square ft(15′ X 12′) room. Perfect for most bedrooms, a bathroom, home-office, library, etc. Third is the ease of operation and its quiet noise level. 1 power button brings you through all 4 settings. Press it once for On/Low fan; twice for Medium fan; three times for High fan; and a fourth turns it Off. That’s all there is to it! The noise level of the low fan is comparable to a “peaceful night”, and the high fan is quieter than a “library”. If you need white noise to help you sleep, use this in another room. If total quiet is desire while sleeping, this is your machine! Lastly, the HEPA filtration system traps 97% of airborne particles in 3-stages. Hair, lint, and fur in the Pre-Filter stage. Pollen, pet dander, and dust in the HEPA Filter stage. And it neutralizes household odors, smoke and fumes in the third, Activated Carbon Filter stage. You can carefully vacuum the inside of the purifier the outer pre-filter to clean it, however; the HEPA and Carbon filters should be replaced every 4-6 months depending on use.
One negative for me is the Aroma feature. It says to add 5-7 drops of essential oil to the aroma pad to add an aroma to your room. The box the pad sits in looks like a mini shoe box without a lid. The bottom and sides are solid(no ventilation holes). Air is drawn into the lower filter area, it’s filtered, and then blown up AROUND the Aroma Box(not THROUGH), and is directed out the top. I could barely smell the oil, so I added several more drops but had the same outcome. It seems to me that the box should have some holes in it so air will filter through the Aroma Pad taking the scent with it. Find another way to add aroma to your room. I’m not a rocket scientist, but those my thoughts on this feature.
All in all, this is a great little air purifier! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a small, quiet, powerful purifier!

You won’t be sorry if you but it. First. It is doing exactly what I purchased it to do. I have cats, so I keep my bedroom closed. I do smoke in my room especially when I am on the computer. Dawn broke over marblehead when my eyes were burning. Door shut, smoking, ugh. So I made my purchase immediately and it has been doing a fantastic job. Plus it is very quiet. On the 3rd fan setting it is noticable but acts as a white noise to halp me sleep. Plus, if you want it has a soft blue light, which you can turn off is you want, that acts as a night light. Great buy for a bedroom or any small room.

Small Devices that deliver Large results. I have allergies with 4 small dogs and 2 parrots. Cleaning is daily and endless, and I wanted something to help clean the air. The prices of many air cleaners are really high, so I was skeptical of these because the price was so low. I bought two of them, 7 weeks ago and started using them immediately. These air purifiers absolutely do work. A month after buying the first two, I bought a third unit. It is working great as well. I run them on low or sleep mode usually, but for example; I misted of couple of house plants with Neem oil and was shocked at the odor from it. I took those plants outside and still the odor inside made my eyes water. I brought one of these air purifiers into that room and ran it on high for about 12 to 15 minutes and the odor was magically gone. I would strongly recommend these units to anyone looking for a low-cost air purifier.

My allergies didn’t bother me nearly as much as usual because of how calm it was. My roommate was never vocal about it! 10/10 would advise! Every time I woke up with a congested nose, none of the nasal sprays he was using helped. I began waking up less and less congested after turning on the air purifier. I didn’t have one this morning. I’m really grateful for this stuff.

REALIZE BRIGHT! It seems to clean the air but I returned it because it was so bright. I bought this for my daughter’s room and she couldn’t sleep it was so bright. It says it has a nighttime mode but that just turns the big light off under the fan. There are still three lights on the buttons that stay on. If it wouldn’t have been for a bedroom I might of kept it.

quiet and good for bedroom. Seems to work pretty well for a small room, not loud at all, especially on the low and medium settings. High setting is a little bit loud but much less than a typical window air conditioner. We tried to use it in a room that was probably too large for it, I would say definitely a smaller room like maybe 8 to 10′ square.
I think we’ll probably be great for a kids room, because it has lights that you can change different colors or the 1st setting cycle through all the colors so it makes a pretty nightlight when it’s running. And it also has a timer you can preset the shut off.
Biggest negative I can see about it is that the buttons are located on the side but close to the top. And it doesn’t really have a lot of weight at the bottom so you have to put your hand on top of it to push the buttons Or it will try to tip over when you push the button. Not a real big deal. just something you need to get used to

I like the product but I can’t find the replacement filters. Where can I buy them? If I can’t find them I’ll have to return the product.

It has helped my chronic nighttime congestion that seemed to show up when I was sleeping. It has been so much better with this purifier. I am very happy with my purchase. Powers off suddenly without reason :(. Did not power on immediately so I powered off and rechecked to make sure the filters were in place and plugged into a different electric outlet. It then did power on but then shut off a few minutes later. I checked the owners manual and there is no indication that it should power off for any reason by itself. I powered off and back on and it ran for two hours and powered off. The following day I powered on for approx. 3.5 hours and then it shut down. I am returning this item and feel frustrated because when it DOES work it seems to work very nicely in my bedroom. The fragrance (I put lavender oil on the fragrance pad) is dispersed nicely. I might get another one and keep my fingers crossed that it will work properly. I should mention that it arrived via Fedex and they seem to be a bit abusive with boxes so perhaps this malfunction is as a result of that; I have no idea. I’m thankful that returns and exchanges are not a hassle with Walmart and appreciate all the assistance provided to me. A friend told me to go look at air purifiers at Target but why would I want to go there?

Very easy set-up ,Remove from packaging, Rotate the top half of the Air Purifier counterclockwise and remove it from the bottom half. Remove the filter and AC power adapter from inside the air purifier. Remove all the plastic packaging from the filter, Place the filter back into the air purifier. Very easy set-up ,Remove from packaging, Rotate the top half of the Air Purifier counterclockwise and remove it from the bottom half. Remove the filter and AC power adapter from inside the air purifier. Remove all the plastic packaging from the filter, Place the filter back into the air purifier. Place the top half of the air purifier directly back onto the the bottom half of the air purifier. Rotate clockwise to secure both halves in place. Connect the AC power adapter to the air purifier, Plug into an outlet. There should be at least 15 inches of clearance on all sides of the air purifier to alow air to circulate freely in and out of the air purifier. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

Bad. I can’t find a filter for it and every filter that I find for it it’s still got a red light so that means that it’s not working. I’m really frustrated because I needed this air purifier.

Im talking 2 desks and a filing cabinet is all that barely fits in my office so nothing massive and I keep my door shut no windows for outside yuck to constantly come in. I leave this thing on full blast 24/7 and it isnt worth the electricity. I have the model core200 in my bedroom plus another bedroom and its a life saver for us allergy people in house. Not bad…. Our rental was previously rented by the neighbors cat lady so our third bedroom is the worst in terms of the cat smell it does help some and fairly quite but it seems kinda cheap. Might upgrade to something better. Maybe don’t waste your money unless your desperate.

Doesn’t work. It doesn’t work. My neighbor smokes in our non smoking complex. This machine has no effect on the fumes that get into my apartment. The room I have it in is small. This machine doesn’t do anything as one of the reviews stated. It’s just wasting my electricity. Maybe I got a defective one because I see more good reviews than bad.

doesnt ionize. its got an official filter. self sealing. good airflow so i will keep it but it doesnt ionize. There is a button you flip that lights up but it doesnt appear to be connected to anything. its sealed in the top where there is no airflow so i do not see how it would work….

And there’s a blue light that it emits that can’t be turned off. If the one-speed unit is on, the blue light is on. I ended up ordering a legit HEPA unit (which this isn’t). Also, and it’s totally not just this one, the air goes out the top. Like on a low-speed air cleaner, who wants to hang their head over the top all the time? I made a tin foil thing for the top to direct the air to my face, where it should be. The HEPA unit I got after this purchase can be positioned however I want it ~ clean air to the face, please! And it’s chargable/rechargable so I can take it with. Best thing about this is that I learned a lot and fixed the problems with the subsequent purchase.

Quiet, but powerful! This air purifier is a true Hepa air purifier that comes with a lifetime warranty if the filter is replaced according to the user manual suggestion. The filter is estimated to last an average of 3000 hours, but the unit does have a built-in indicator light that will illuminate; telling the user it is time to change the filter.

The control panel has more functionality than one might expect; complete with a child/pet lock, sleep mode, and timer button. There are also various speed settings, but even at the top speed (turbo) the unit is quiet—no louder than a box fan might be.

The bright LED display face shows the air quality and the PM2.5 (particle pollution) level. The unit also comes with a remote control, but I do wish the remote was just a little larger.

This unit is compact, yet sturdy, and has done a wonderful job in an open concept room. With built in handles, one can also easily move this to other rooms.

One last feature to note (which is very helpful for a quick glance across the room), the LED display also correlates to colors that light up based on the air quality–blue (very good)–red (polluted); which is another nice feature for easy indicator reading. Overall, this air purifier is a wonderful unit to have.

cheap inexpensive fan filter. no on/off. more of a 5- product than a99-product. Very basic questionable HEPA filter w blue light. No on/off or adjustable speed. Plug and go. unable to upload picutes. hollow box with basic fan and a small tube filter that looks like a car vac cylinder filter.

Works Perfectly. Ideal room size, easy to use and clean. Sleep mode is scarcely audible and the lights turn off, so you don’t notice. It’s reassuring that the auto function doesn’t go full blast and the filter doesn’t get gunky after moving it around the house. Planning to buy all bedrooms for year-round use. Pollen and dust have been high so far.
