Air smells so clean and fresh. This air purifier is quiet and very effective. The highest fan setting is a bit louder, but that is to be expected. The air was so much cleaner that my sinuses opened up upon entering the room. Plastic smell took several days to dissipate, but since then, it has been wonderful.

It works. I bought this product because I have been suffering with my alergies for 7 weeks straight THIS TIME. This does help,my bedroom smells different not that it stunk before but there is a difference. I wake up less stuffy, sleep sounder. The noise is minimal and actually soothing. I do have to turn off the UV light at night it’s like a night light and I need total darkness to sleep, thank God you can turn it off without turning of the whole system. I’m ordering another one ASAP.

For its compact size it sure does some heavy duty work. It has a highly efficient 3-in-1 filtration system that you just can’t beat. First it has a fine, preliminary filter that’s excellent at trapping larger particles in the air such as pet fur, lint and even hair. The second part of the filtration system is the True Hepa filter which works to capture smaller particles like dust, dander and pollen. The third filter is a high efficiency activated carbon filter which completely neutralizes and removes odors in the air from food, smoke, pets and more. This purifier just makes the air so fresh and clean and has been a real blessing for my allergies. It’s the perfect size for any mid-sized area such as bedrooms, home offices and living rooms. I did a full review of the Airdog X5 on my blog and its definitely five stars. I wanted to wait a few months so I could share the cleaning experience. It’s so simple to clean. It took no effort at all, just rinsing and removing dust. We’re very happy with the Airdog and glad that it is CARB certified (by the California Air Respouces Board). You won’t go wrong owning this great device – we’re so glad to know that our air a fresh and clean!

I moved into an apartment where some of the neighbors and the former tenant are smokers. Within half an hour of plugging in this air purifier, my apartment smelled clean, and I could breathe so much more easily.

Then a plumbing issue necessitated removing some drywall in the bathroom, which caused a ton of debris from the walls to go airborne. Again, within half an hour the air was clear, and the AQI was back down into the single digits. I love this air purifier!

Great Air Filtration at a Great Price. Best Air Filtration system we have tried so far. I really like them Uva light feature too! My husband and I would have allergy symptoms every morning and Now we don’t! We both enjoy the gentle white noise it has a well,also a plus!!

Color Me Impressed. I’m not easy to impress, most of my friends know that.
This, though, is an exception.

I’ve never had long-haired dogs before and since the boys came along, my house is about 4x more dusty (let alone, hairier) than I’ve ever experienced.
Came across this as I Googled about keeping the dust down.

Went from needing to dust AT LEAST 2x week, to every 2-3 weeks in the bedroom. Same thing with vacuuming.
Even today, while dusting and changing the bed, it was “just” visible….and it’s been 2.5 weeks.

The buttons on top are touch and not something you actually have to depress. My dog happened to use the bathroom in our kitchen so I used the air Purifier in the kitchen to help reduce the smell and it helped but it didn’t eliminate the odor.

Nice. I ordered this air purifier and was not disappointed. It does everything that it is advertised. I love how convenient it is to move around. It does remove the damp smell and the air does smell cleaner. I like that it came with a couple of filters. I haven’t ordered extra filters but will be doing so as needed.

HoMedics 5-in-1 Air Purifier. We have an old farmhouse so some of the closets leave a less than desirable odor on the clothes if they haven’t been worn for a while.
I’ve tried various laundry soaps, softener and dryer sheets but I couldn’t keep that fresh out of the dryer scent so I thought I would try a small air purifier.

I placed the air purifier at least 6 inches away from walls and 3 feet from heat sources. Very good. Good for a small room. I find the noise very relaxing even on its highest level. It is quiet and soothing. I don’t use the blue light as it is too bright. It is a good product but is no match for dry heat in winter. You will need a humidifier for that.

I unpacked everything and took all the plastic off I found the charger which is transported inside the air filter plugged it in turned it on and that’s it. It immediately cycled through the modes that it operates under determining the best most suitable mode to run in my home! That just blew my mind. No programming no setting anything It just knows what to do. You can however select the mode you would like to use and it does have a timer which I think would be wonderful to have. I no longer have to turn off air filter when I go to bed. I plan to use this in my home since this is being purchased as replacement for a Hamilton Beach unit that I’ve had for 3 years. Even on its highest fan setting It is incredibly quiet which is a definite improvement over other units I had looked at. The air filter is really easy to remove since it inserts from the bottom of the unit. Once I turned it on it defaulted to the blue color indicator signifying the air quality on my home is considered to be very good.. Love the fact that it has an auto mode for the fan and will adjust it according to what it senses in the air. That means through all four seasons I simply won’t have to worry about anything but cleaning the filter when necessary. That will be easily accomplished using my vacuum cleaner. Like any other HEPAA filter please make sure you do not wash the filter with water. Clean up should be a breeze on the outside by simply wiping down with a dry cloth.

Finally after plugging it in turning it on and learning everything about it I decided to look at the user’s manual which is clear, easy to read and understand. 100% Recommend! I absolutely love my Germ Guardian Air Purifier so much, I have one in each bedroom in our house. This particular one I put in my daughter’s room. We have a cat and a dog and the cat pretty much lives in her room and my daughter also suffers from allergies. I helf off on doing this review for a couple of weeks as I wanted to see how well this item worked to give a genuine review. The first improvement I noticed was the smell! Not as noisey as my other one. Nice little unit. The main thing that I was concerned about was how loud this thing gets when I’m trying to sleep, It is pretty quiet. I don’t keep it very close to me. It’s actually on the other side of the room, so I don’t if the very low sound that it makes would annoy other people that may keep it closer to them while sleeping, but I doubt it would. Time will tell on the build quality, but it has a nice modest and clean look, which I like.

So far it’s been terrible. So far since I have gotten this day and a half ago I feel like it has done to complete opposite from taking away the dust and dirt and all that it’s magnified the whole place and brought in more dust and dirt then taking it. And the back when I take the panel off I slide out the filter and there’s this mesh screen wrapped around it I feel like I’m supposed to take that off but not really sure. This feels like it’s been a curse since I’ve gotten it I don’t know what to do in my operating it right I don’t even see a UV light on the bottom of it

The Germguardian air purifiers worked even better and quieter. We placed one in a 700 square foot living area (living room, dining room, kitchen). True HEPA! This product has changed our life! I normally don’t review things but I’m not kidding when I say this purifier has changed the way I sleep. We live in an older house and have 3 kids and a

Hubby says he likes the colored light. Mostly I think he likes me not complaining about him smoking and stinking up the place. lol. We don’t use it post-shower when the room is steamy and it seems to be doing a fine job so far. One drawback- I purchased a replacement filter to have on hand and thought it was expensive

On my first night using this air purifier, I was able to distinguish the differences. My room is approximately 130 square feet and covers most of my house. I still have a Husky dog coming and going at home, and this purifier can also clean the dog’s air. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Clear the air of musty smells and cooking odors!! This air purifier works very well. I bought it because my son’s room has been smelling very musty lately. I believe it’s been causing him to cough all day and all night and be constantly sick. I am highly impressed that since putting the air purifier in his room he has not been coughing and thankfully he has not been sick. The air purifier itself is large but it’s very quiet so we often forget it’s even running. He can sleep perfectly fine with the machine running. It was super easy to set up. The app works great and is very convenient.
