Expensive but solid Air Purifier. When a product is gets around the $300 neighborhood, you expect a couple things from it- one of those things is hassle-free operation right out of the box. In this respect, this product does not deliver for its price. When you first take it out of the box, and plug it in, it smells terrible when originally plugged in, very industrial, chemical smell. Requires a break-in period of a good 48 hours before this smell dissipates. After this point, it works well. It purifies the air in a large room very well, and is very quiet. The oscillation feature is solid as well. I have been noticing a lot less allergy symptoms in this area of the floor, my co-workers show fewer red, watery eyes, and sneezing. Still, the price and long lead time for odor-free operation of this makes this a cautious recommendation as opposed to a full-blown recommendation.

Not as good as genius4. I am not impressed with the Genius5. The Genius4 performed a lot better than the 5, barring the odor that you receive from the 4 once you start it for the 1st time. I plan to return this one back to the store. One final note: the 5 was placed in a small bedroom and still did not perform up to specification.

Great Air purifier. Works pretty good. I move it room to room in my house at 4 hour intervals, but keep it mainly in the living room. I like the fact that it is quiet, has a timer on it and that it oscillates. Was skeptical about it, but glad I made the choice to get it.

It’s working well. Needed this for help with allergies and it seems to be helping a lot. I’m not sneezing, etc. nearly so much. Unit takes up very little floor space, is not unattractive and has a ‘night light’ if you want it. Haven’t changed/cleaned the filters yet so can’t comment on that. I’m very happy with it so far.

More than I expected. I expected the plastic smell for a few days and it was definitely there. What surprised me was the strength of the air stream passing through the product. It was difficult to be comfortable sitting in its path, especially when plastic smells were part of the blast, and my husband complained that he felt cold when the blast of air came his direction. Overall though I think the product is attractive enough for the room and does what it is designed to do. I think what I will do is to let it run at night and make it sleep during the day. That way everyone will be happy.

Allergy Buster. This is my second one. The first one is still working and in my TV room. This one is going into my upstairs area. Easy to care for and reliable. Effective for both the family and the dog. Picks up dust and dander. Thank You Honeywell. If needing a replacement will continue with this product.

Best purifier ever!!! This is a must have for any urban apartment! I bought this after my mom recommended it for my allergies. It has done wonders and effectively purifies the air. I would recommend using this in your bedroom to purify the air.

Cheap flimsy filter cover, no room for pre filter. It’s working well, it cleans the air. The problem is with the filter cover. Cheap flimsy cover don’t allow for the included pre carbon filter to be installed. I modded it but the cover don’t go back into place without a bungee cord holding it.

We have a fifth wheel camper. It’s new so all the new smells irritate my throat and nasal passages. It’s actually the chemicals that make it fire retardant etc. Well we we headed to Cape Hatteras. I plugged in the air cleaner and it stated it was 175 the red light was on. I knew it was unhealthy! It took about 20 minutes on high and the numbers dropped to 30s eventually to 11-15 for the week. After it cleared the chemical odor left it was a clean like fresh rain smell to the camper. I am eternally grateful for this purifier.

It came with 3 filters so I went in without the manual to put them in but to my surprise it came with one already. And it comes with a ton of other filters in the back you can wash/some you can’t but they all basically last 20 years which is superb (pictured). IT also has a sensor above the filters which looks like you can easily clean with a swab every 3 months. The unit itself feels like stainless steel/luxurious and high end. I don’t like to use Wi-Fi but I do like how the settings come with timers and other options so you can auto-turn it off when you are away (and if you don’t prefer to have every device in your Wi-Fi at all times like me). The Turbo setting was the first I ran and it even cleaned the smell of my hallway outside of the apartment which was, well, delightful. The second time we tried smoking in a room and it cleaned that right up. The rest of the time I used it was mainly for after or during cooking to clean up the smell. And boy did it work well. It would normally take meat or seafood smells 2 days to get out of our apartment but this made it go away in hours or less. Other purifiers I’ve used barely did a thing with cooking smells. This is the best and most potent air purifier I’ve used in my life.

After the initial cleaning at auto it settled down pretty quite and has been maintaining good quality air levels. With the included app, you can monitor everything including air condition, filter levels, and overall conditions. You can even control the air purifier and adjust all settings. One thing I really like is it’s ability to sense odors and clean them up promptly. We have been very pleased with this air purifier, and both my wife and I have noticed our allergies have improved and we are sleeping better a night. Great product!

I set it to auto and it ran pretty hard and loud for a few hours, I guess that meant our air was pretty bad. After the initial cleaning at auto it settled down pretty quite and has been maintaining good quality air levels. With the included app, you can monitor everything including air condition, filter levels, and overall conditions. You can even control the air purifier and adjust all settings. One thing I really like is it’s ability to sense odors and clean them up promptly. We have been very pleased with this air purifier, and both my wife and I have noticed our allergies have improved and we are sleeping better a night. Great product!

Nice and as Advertised. Everything was as advertised. This model has 5 fan speeds. The lowest is very quiet. If you like a little white noise to sleep with then there are 4 higher levels to choose from. Intuitive controls. Easy set up is a no brainer. A blue led accent light at the bottom is attractive and makes a nice night light. It can be turned off if you wish.

Excellent Air Purifier. Perfect Air Purifier to rid our home of all the recent haze from fire smoke. I ordered this as a birthday gift for my husband in August, not knowing that we would be inundated by all the blowing smoke from all the recent fires this September in California. Excellent product. Very quite, does not disturb your sleep. My breathing is better since I started using it. Perceptible difference in the room. Only been using it for about 2 weeks and so cant comment on the durability but I would buy the same air purifier if I had to do it again!

I forgot to turn it on one night and woke up sneezing. About 10 min after turning it on. My sneezing stopped. I will be purchasing a second unit for my living room. Definitely worth the money!

I did a full review of the Airdog X5 on my blog and its definitely five stars. I wanted to wait a few months so I could share the cleaning experience. It’s so simple to clean. It took no effort at all, just rinsing and removing dust. We’re very happy with the Airdog and glad that it is CARB certified (by the California Air Respouces Board). You won’t go wrong owning this great device – we’re so glad to know that our air a fresh and clean!

On full blast it is pretty loud, can be heard from across the house, but not so bad that you can’t sleep in the same room with it. Night mode and lower modes are great, really limit sound. There are two big gaps at the sides of the cover which allows it to pull in dust balls, carpet fibers, stray scraps of toilet paper from a shoe, or any other random larger thing that might get drug into the room. It caught me off guard the first time I cleaned the filter, as most filters are pretty securely tightened and only pull in dust and particles that can fit through the vented covers. I added a photo of the large side openings with this review, although I just cleaned my filters yesterday. I actually don’t mind if it pulls hair and other random items at the bottom, since obviously the vacuum missed them. The re-washable filters are easy to spray off into the sink and scrub, and you can definitely see that it is pulling dust and such out of the air. I’m not sure if the plasma wave actually works or not, but in general it seems to be pulling a lot out of the air, so it is for sure working to some effect!

Weird sidenote, when I first installed this item I realized that the remote to my Hitachi Roku TV also works on this air purifier. Anytime I try to turn the volume up on the TV it would crank up the purifier to full blast. This competed with the sound increase of course, but then I realized the exit button reduced the power of it. Weird. The air purifier does come with its own remote, so it wouldn’t be impossible to turn it back to whatever setting you wanted from its own remote, just a strange thing to have to do. I ended up moving the purifier into my bedroom to stop the issue for now. Technology, what do you do.

I moved into an apartment where some of the neighbors and the former tenant are smokers. Within half an hour of plugging in this air purifier, my apartment smelled clean, and I could breathe so much more easily.

Then a plumbing issue necessitated removing some drywall in the bathroom, which caused a ton of debris from the walls to go airborne. Again, within half an hour the air was clear, and the AQI was back down into the single digits. I love this air purifier!

It says it covers 240 sq.ft which is perfect for my living room. It has 3 different fan speeds, which is nice for different times of the day where you need it more or less. Air Purifier. I have been looking at air purifiers because my living area always seems to have a smell, I came across this one and it seemed to be good value so thought I’d give it a try. It says it covers 240 sq.ft which is perfect for my living room. It has 3 different fan speeds, which is nice for different times of the day where you need it more or less. It has a timer and sleep mode which are super convenient so you don’t have to think about it. I have noticed that it has helped a alot with the smell in my living room. I don’t know why it took me so long to get one, because this purifier is wonderful. It blows out all the cool, fresh air, and sucks up the bad stuff. Part of me can’t wait to see what it looks like when I change my filter, but I know it’ll probably be gross, lol. My hay fever is so bad that it debilitates me and my air quality is not good normally, but I actually feel a difference when this is on and running, which I was sooo skeptical about. Works Wonders for my COPD I L O V E it

This bearer air washer has an excellent design, it’s very well made and easy to use! It comes well packaged for shipping and has easy instructions for set up! I have the fan on the highest setting and it’s so quiet! The air in my home feels and smells fresher already!

The room smells better. The room is more comfortable. My house had a “stale” odor. I ran the unit on high (level 3) and closed the door. The rotating water wheel and fan are fairly quiet. The odor was removed. I moved the unit to other rooms. The instruction describes the humidifier gives a “after rain” freshness. I agree.

The actual unit is great however there was a lot of confusion about WiFi compatibility. There is only one X5 listed on the website and since the unit I got has a remote with a “WiFi” button on it, and the User Manual indicates where the WiFi Light is (which is visible on the unit), I was under the impression that the one I ordered was, in fact, compatible. It is not clear from the website and available resources which X5 are WiFi compatible and, if only one version of the X5 is available, why it is not compatible itself. It was also disheartening to have read that previous version of X5 WERE WiFi compatible while the unit I received is not. Please try to clarify this for any future customers as I’m sure there will be other people who find themselves in the same situation and spend time/effort trying to get their X5 to connect via WiFi.

Within minutes of turning it on, I feel like I could definitely tell a difference between the air quality in the room. It does blow air and feels like a fan is on while it is operating. To wash the permanent filter you just run it under water and let it dry. I tested it out to see if it would help with the smell of the cat litter box. I left it there for 2 days to see if it would take the smell out of the air, and it worked! I asked anyone that came over if they could smell the cat box and no one could tell I had a cat. It also is energy efficient so it doesn’t cost much to run it. I have had it on continuously for a month and a half and I didn’t notice my electric bill go up at all even though I am sure it must have cost something to run it. I am going to purchase another one for my bedroom.

Clean air. I like that it’s so quiet and I can add a couple of drops of essential oil. I used peppermint oil and it was wonderful. I haven’t yet seen a difference in my allergies. I am hoping that changes.

I will recommend it. it kind of has a little diffuser incorporated. Particularly i like noisy air purifiers since the noise makes me fall asleep faster, this one is quite and i was planning to use it as a fan too but the air in this one comes out from the top, anyway it does purifies the air and for the price you are getting a good deal
