Great for formal or informal decorating projects. While designed to hold either a wax or battery-operated candle, the Better Homes and Gardens Hyacinth Hurricane Candle Holder can do so much more for casual or formal decorating purposes. As soon as I received it, I filled it with sea glass that I have collected over the years. The woven rattan around the exterior’s base gives a casual summer feel. I plan to change the look later by filling the vessel half-way up with sand and adding an aqua-colored pillar candle and sea shells for a more beachy look. The woven rattan base can be removed to decorate for other occasions throughout the year including Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, etc. The glass feels very sturdy and the top has a rounded edge so there are no sharp edges to worry about. It is 7 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. The woven rattan is 3 inches tall and is removable and re-attachable.

Large candle holder. This candle holder has a woven hyacinth trim around the lower third of the glass. It is a nice neutral that can fit in to several decor styles. It is almost 6 1/2” diameter so there are options for a large candle, smaller-diameter candle, or maybe 3 candles that are each 2” diameter. There’s an area that the hyacinth is a little crooked so that’s why I took off a star. If that side is toward a wall, it won’t be noticeable.

Crap. This is looks like something that should be sold at the dollar store! And that’s being kind. Cheaply made and very small! Not at all worth $8!

Would not buy again. Pretty but they start out great then the lights fade on all three. Lights are dim. One, the bottom fell out and had to glue back in. Replacement batteries are expensive. Disappointed ☹️

Beautiful candle set. These candles are even more beautiful than the picture. They are so realistic that my sister was going to blow them out until I told her they weren’t a real flame. I ordered the gray ones which are made of glass. They are well worth the price of $28.

Just ok. These candle lights are cute, but much smaller than I thought they’d be. I had a similar one that was 8 inches in height with a color changing feature, so I thought these would be similar.

No controllable timer. There is no timer for this. It only responds to sunlight. I don’t like the idea of the lights being on all night as it is a fire hazard.

Exactly what I wanted. Sensors work great so I don’t have to run around turning off and on. All candles worked except the one I dropped and the bulb burnt out quickly on that one. Wish they came with an extra replacement.

The electric candles are great. They are very much like the ones we already owned that are probably close to 50 years old and we were happy we found these replacements.

Junk. Item arrived broken. This is an item you would expect to receive free in a cereal box. Not even worth returning. The item is complete trash.
