Holy Grail for Oily Skin. Oily skin Holy Grail cleanser. I have combination oily skin and this really does moisturize while keeping me matte and not tight feeling. I highly recommend this cleaner. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing !!! I’ve been dealing with bad hormonal acne this past year, and was spending so much money on other brands trying to find something to clear my face up. Then I saw this set on Elf and thought I should give it a try. I am so glad I did because in just the first few weeks there were visible changes, my face feels so much nicer, smoother, and even ! I have combination skin, with my t-zone being oily and the rest dry. However, the face wash did not dry my skin out, nor did the moisturizer ! I’ve also been using the Elf acne spot treatment alongside this. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. I ended up ordering the full sized products since I’m almost out, so these small trial sizes actually last a good bit !

Awesome products! I was very excited to get my kit in. I decided to try this “basics kit” because I wasn’t entirely sure of what I needed for my skin. This has helped with my blemishes and clear up my breakouts. I will be buying this kit again!

Directions are wrong. My only issue I have with the product is the directions on the back are wrong. Like not just slightly but extremely wrong. The directions on the back are for a cream not for a face wash I’ll attach photos other than that this is a good product especially if you are trying to save money. You might want to fix this issue before someone ACTUALLY reads it and does what you say and has a terrible experience with an otherwise good product.

My Go-To Acne Wash. Not sure what happened with all the bad reviews. Maybe there was an issue when Equate/Walmart did their re-packaging end of 2022/beginning 2023. Not sure. Either way…

This is my go-to acne wash. I’m a 33yo female and yes, I still have to use a BHA (salicylic) cleanser on my face 2x per day as apart of my adult acne regimen. I’ve never had issues with this product burning or drying my skin. Then again, I’m super use to salicylic. I’ve been using the Equate 2% BHA wash for years. Also, my 11yo daughter with clogged pores and occasional pimples uses this product, too. She’s been on it for a year and has had 0 issues. Excellent price compared to competitor’s. Size is a huge bargain. Excellent product.

Does not remove mascara. This product does not remove washable mascara like my usual product. They were out of my usual Equate 2 in 1 foaming face wash. People are correct, this product does not foam. i prefer the product below.

Totally ruined my skin. I have PCOS and have suffered from acne my entire life. I decided to try out this kit when I saw it. Used it for 2 days and my skin got red, irritated and I broke out with tiny white heads all over. I trust E.L.F so I doubt it’s the products fault. Just don’t use if your skin is sensitive

Poor packaging. The item was completely opened and leaked all over the entire bag of items, and you could tell that the bottom was open because top of the bottle wasn’t even screwed on

buyer beware!! if you even have *slightly* dry skin, this will completely suck all of the moisture from your skin. i only used it twice and i’m currently having to repair my skin and had to buy more products to hopefully save my skin. it might not be a horrible product, but it has caused me more issues than anything.

Very comparable to Neutrogena! Very good quality and very comparable to Neutrogena, just without as many perfume ingredients. Some of the less expensive versions of this facial cleanser are thin and clearly watered down, this is as thick as the original. Excellent way to save as the ingredients are identical!

Missed the mark on this one. First of all, I am usually all in when it comes to store brands. I have used many Equate, Great Value, etc and actually liked them better than the name brand. However, this one doesn’t cut the mustard with me. The purchase was made by default since the name brand was out of stock. It feels weird while washing, almost like it has persimmons in it. The way persimmons feel in your mouth is how it feels on my face and it over dries my skin much more than my other brand and I have an oily face. It also didn’t seem to lather like I prefer. So, it’s a no for me.

Good source of vitamins. I am under treatment for severe acne. So really can’t tell you if this worked for my skin or not. But having a good vitamins in your diet is good for health.

made my skin break out. i bought this as a replacement from another brand of serum i ran out of. i’ve heard of this brand a few times. mainly good words. but after using it for a few days, i noticed i started to get acne. i switched back to my cheap amazon serum and my skin is smoother than silk and clear of acne. to be honest, this isn’t worth it. also the brand of serum i use now is from amazon. “Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Moisturizing Skin Therapy Oil for Face with Vitamin E, C %26 10 Pure Facial Oil Blend, Rosehip Fragrance, 1 Ounce” incase anyone was wondering. hope this helped..

be sooooo careful with this serum. it works for sure! but be SO careful with how much you apply, so much can ruin your skin barrier and i learned the hard way. don’t apply more then three times a week if you have sensitive skin. remember to do your research before you buy skin products… stay safe ! good product tho !

This affordable product works great! I love this product and the best thing I like about it is I’m in control. it works great but in some places I get dry skin because of it so I just use less. love that it it is thick so it doesn’t run off your face. I can also use it more often, or less and put it on heavy or less. No two people have the same skin issues so this product can be used to suit many people. I’m an older person but still struggle with problematic skin. Pimples specifically the largest issue. I saw this product which was simply, “Benzoyl Peroxide” so I figured I would try it and am happy I did. It is super an affordable and effective product.

Face broke out in hives. I only started using this for a couple days, and each day I’ve used it, my face has broken out in hives.

Happy with shipping speediness but the product no. Came in 2 days after ordering. I opened and used right away but was upset when I looked at the box and it expires 4/2024. I’m not sure if it’ll even work if it’s expired

I ordered this set for myself in the winter when I had a bad reaction to the cold weather in Chicago in combination with some inflammation due to tetrinoin use. The cleanser was my favorite part. Very creamy and hydrating, loved it. Works best when you apply to dry skin and massage it in. You can wipe it off with a clean towel because it will soften and losen dead skin and residue and exfoliate. I also used the serum after and during home micro needling sessions, it protected my skin and helped it heal quickly. It really prevented post micro needling moisture loss. My least favorite product in the bundle was the moisturizer, I found it too light and also stings my skin. I prefer, to do ” slugging” with heavier water soluable moisturizing skin balms. This seems like it would be a good light weight moisturizer in the summer months when working out outside…I never tried to wear it with sunscreen though so I don’t know if it would be compatible. But it wasn’t a bad product just not exactly what I was looking for. The ordinary is great because they use glass whenever possible so I prefer thier serums for that reason as well, and they always deliver a quality product at a great price point. The picture is my skin make up free after using these products for a month.

This face wash smells like jalapeños. Fun fact: it smells like jalapeños. They should either rethink the scent or own up to it and rebrand it as jalapeño face wash. If you love your spicy peppers, this face wash is for you. As for me, I will stick with the name brand.

It worked okay never really. It worked okay never really took my acne away completely. I called up Proactive representative and realized I was probably using the wrong kind for best results. They offered to let me try out another line of Proactive products for free to see if it might work better. I’ve been using for 2 days now so a little to early to say but I believe this is already showing more progress.

I’m really happy with this acne treatment gel! It’s priced really well, especially considering how effective it is. I’ve been using it for a bit now, and it’s really helped keep my breakouts in check. It’s easy to use, and I appreciate that it doesn’t dry out my skin too much like some other products do.
