When I originally purchased this product I left the nightlight mode on all the time. It quite working after a couple of weeks. I returned it for the same thing. I needed extra outlets & charging station in a particular room. This item does all that. I now only use the nightlight when I need it and it has lasted for over a year. My only negative is when I am trying to pull out a plug, the whole unit doesn’t stay secure in the electrical outlet. I have to hold the unit when I pull out an item (this does not happen with UBS plugs). Other than that, this has been worth the money.

This outlet is exactly what I was searching for as a gift to my niece who is preparing for the dormitory life. It is compact enough with the plate on the top for you to place your phone, AirPods, or whatever on top. The added nightlight is just a plus to the plug, I ordered this one due to space saving with having a desktop outlet. I have no complaints thus far with the plug and am satisfied with the price point, size, and options this one brings.

I have purchased different brands. This specific one has made the necessary adjustments to ensure maximum control of cord. Plenty of outlets and a very simple setup!! Remove screw from pre-existing outlet cover, plug in item, using supplied product screw tighten into wall for stability.
