The media could not be loaded.  Wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when we finally decided on finding a kitchen scale, but we have been very pleased from the moment we opened the box! First, it feels both sleek and solid, with a sturdy tempered glass top, and rubberized feet on the bottom. The size should be adequate for most kitchen uses (and probably a few postage estimates when shipping things), yet it’s slim enough to be easily stored, or even hung out of the way, thanks to a slot configured into the back.The scale is rechargeable, coming with a USB charging cable, but also has a battery compartment for back-up AAA batteries (included!). The display is bright and crisp, very easy to read, with options of using grams, kilograms, pounds and ounces, fluid ounces, and milliliters.Our cooking doesn’t require a lot of weighing, but we are starting to get into making our own sausage blends, and being able to weigh portions of meat and other ingredients is becoming more important. This scale will handle it with precision. The “Tare” function is part of that precision, enabling the user to factor out the weight of any container being used, so that an accurate picture of only the ingredients can be determined. For instance, if I wanted to weigh out 5 ounces of rice, I can set an empty bowl on the scale and use the Tare function to zero out the scale, then add the rice and know that the final weight is JUST rice, and not the bowl as well.Bottom line here is that it looks good, it is easy to use, it is extremely accurate, it has a small storage footprint, and it can take much of the guesswork out of your kitchen work!Update: It’s been more than a year since we bought the scale. For what it’s worth, I’ve gone from not really thinking we “needed” a scale to realizing just how often I am pulling it off the wall where it hangs and using it. Best use: preparing portions for vacuum-packing and freezing. Also just made our own venison breakfast sausage, used it to determine how much spice was needed for the meat. Truly glad to have this little workhorse!

This scale is much better than my broken one. Well designed and built. The screen is on right hand side which gives enough space to weighting object and not easy to be blocked. This was the pitfall for my old one which is square in shape so the reading was easy to be blocked. The glass surface is smooth and easy to clean. Another good point is the glass is slightly bigger than underneath dock so the dirt will not go to the gap between the weighting deck and underneath dock. It was the problem for my old scale. It has one more button to change the units, very convenient! I used standard weights to check its accuracy. Every weight, up to 200 grams, is accurate except for 1 gram which reads 0 gram. But when I add 1 gram to 209 gram it reads 200. I do not think that I will use it for 1 gram weighting anyway.

This scale has transformed my kitchen experience, and I can’t imagine baking or food prep without it anymore. It’s waterproof and rechargeable–a total game-changer for anyone who takes their cooking and baking seriously.First and foremost, the accuracy of this scale is outstanding. Whether I’m measuring in grams for my baking or portioning out ingredients in ounces/pounds for cooking, the scale delivers precise measurements every time. It has a large and easy-to-read digital display, even in low light. (Also, it has a 33-lb weight capacity, meaning I can weigh large cuts of meat or huge batches of dough!!)The rechargeable feature is a standout. No more constantly replacing batteries; a single charge lasts a long time, saving both money and the environment. The waterproof design is a lifesaver in the messy world of cooking, making cleanup a breeze. I threw out my watch-battery-eating scale as soon as I got to use this just once! A must-have!

I purchased this specific kitchen scale due to the fact that its RECHARGABLE! As a wife and mom of 3 anytime i need batteries i never have them or my mom brain kicks in and i forget to grab them. I have used this a couple times since my purchase and it works wonderfully.

I meal prep a lot and have used a few different scales. This is by far my favorite. Smaller scales are not always adequate in size for the prep containers I put on them. This scale allows me to use the larger food prep containers and still see the screen. Highly recommend purchasing.
