Don’t waste your money on those plastic chair mats that sink in and curl up over time. Get this one.Period.I’m 6′ 220lbs and its been holding up great. The one i got was 48″L x 36″W x 1.97″ and its perfect for the Embody. Plenty of room all around and just enough lip to not slip off the front. I read other reviews before buying about shipping complications but i didn’t have any issues at all, it even came earlier than expected.side note* most “quality” plastic chair mats at Staples or Office Max are running about $80ish…spend the extra $$$ and get one that’s going to improve your office/gaming setups.

This chair mat is well made, beautiful, and perfect if you want a lip under the desk. Best of all, the chair rolls smoothly and easily on the mat! I was so tired of the ugly plastic ones where the wheels get stuck in the grooves.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. No problem removing it from the packaging and it works well.A slight issue in keeping it from moving though. It will continually move slightly from stepping on it.

Very expensive but very nice. Instead of buying a cheap plastic one every 3 or four years buy this one and it will last forever, and your chair rolls very easy.

If this piece of glass holds up, it will be the single greatest purchase I have made on Amazon. No more annoying flimsy plastic sheets that don’t stay put and allow chairs to sink into divots.I’d have to reposition that stupid thing multiple times a day.Hallelujah Lorell Glass Chairmat with Lip!There’s a sentence I never thought I’d write. But there it is.Hopefully it doesn’t break.

I was OVER the plastic mats and them always cracking eventually so I decided to bite the bullet and pay the expense for a glass mat. It was a literal perfect fit for my craft room and it’s wider than any plastic one I had so I can wheel all over the place!

I was looking for a floor protector for my home office that would protect the new carpeting from my office chair wheels. This came well packed…custom delivery. I simply cut the box open and slid it out onto the floor. This particular product has a slight lip that extends under the desk. It is perfect for scooting up close to the desk. Although it was not cheap and there are so many options out there that are 2x and 3x the price of this, it was a good choice and I am very happy with it. I highly recommend.

I had been concerned about a large, heavy piece of glass but it came unbroken. Weighs a little over 40 lbs but it’s the shape that makes it awkward. Once in place, it works perfectly. Have only been using it for a week, but well worth it. Since I’m using it for a keyhole-type desk, I needed the lip which is highly recommended for this purpose to avoid the forward chair coaster from catching on the lip of the glass. This was one of the few companies that made a piece with the required shape. Excellent quality so far.

Pros:Durable, doesn’t bend like poly ones, stays in place betterCons:Costs moreI tried a couple of the poly ones, unfortunately they didn’t work as well as I hoped. The first one slid around a lot. The second one not only slid, but despite a claim of being the same thickness as the first, it would bend at the slightest pressure, and it didn’t lay flat on the carpet (to the point of cutting my foot as I walked past it). This one moves a bit on the carpet, but it’s minimal.
