I’ve been cooking every day for about 30 years, and I had never used this gadget. Watching Chef Jean Pierre in youtube, he convinced me to get one. He spoke how important it is not to use your knife to drag things off the cutting board. Today I did a lot of cutting. And this scraper sure came in handy! Kept my board organized, and I realized I didn’t have to lift that heavy cutting board to dump veggies in the pot. I loaded them onto the scraper and put them in the pot that way. Very effective. A great helper to my Chef’s knife! It’s one of those things I didn’t know I needed.

I was really surprised at how heavy and nice this scraper is. I was expecting something useful, yes, but this is great to hold in your hand, it has a decently sharp edge, but not so much that it’ll be used for chopping. It’s study and will hold up for a long time yet. It’s the perfect size and shape for my needs
