I bought these because I like the color and they came with protective guards. I’ve been using them all over the last few days. The handles are sturdy. They have a nice easy grip to them. The blades themselves are sharp. Do a wonderful job so far on cutting up fruits and vegetables, peeling and slicing. Cutting fat off large pieces of raw meat. . They’ve held up in the dishwasher. Clean easily when I just rinse them off in the sink before I do a load of dishes in the dishwasher. They’re amazing. I love them. Definitely a great buy add some excitement to your kitchen cooking and meal preparation. It’s great for the kids to help in the kitchen. They enjoy going for the red nice or the blue knife for the yellow knife. The kids think it’s great helping and that’s why I love the protective shields.

Update: Since receiving these, I have been using three of the knives regularly. I am very happy at how well these work, how easily they clean up, and that each knife has its own blade guard. I just looked back at my invoice and am amazed at what a value they are. Despite no one being here, I actually said out loud, “Wow! Those were really worth it!” I am changing my initial rating and giving these 5 stars now!I would give these a score close to 5 stars. The one feature I wish it had is a label on each knife or guard as to the type or knife it is. I’m just not familiar enough with the different types to know which to use for what.

I love these. They’re very sharp & work great. So far I’ve chopped, cut and sliced with them & washed in the dishwasher and even hand washed some in bleach and they still look brand new. For the price these are great. I’ve only had them for about a month but so far I totally recommend them.

I would classify these as throw away eventually. You could sharpen them when they get dull, but they come sharp and better than most people who know mother about knives have in their homes. I bought these as a gift and they like em. I’ll keep my German steel knives at home, but these will make a welcome addition to anyone that has dull knives
