Crap, don’t buy. Decent watch for the price….if it actually worked. Everytime I tried to connect it to my phone using the QR reader a red screen would pop up on my phone warning me of a virus and tracking software. It would not allow me past that screen. Said it was a danger to my phone.

The phone needs a sim card to operate but not compatible with any major provider nor the Walmart phone service. Has great features I recommend if you can buy it directly from Walmart. Still waiting for refund after returning it to Walmart .

Totally impressed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a Garmin Fenix 5, which is very nice, but lately it’s been taking about 2 days to charge and the display is kind of dim, so I figured I’d try the GTR3.

– The display is brilliant!
– It detects walking, running, rowing machine (the things I do), so I don’t have to press any buttons for it to start tracking
– The battery life is fantastic! And, it took about an hour to charge
– It connects to Strava and Google Fit
– The GPS seems to be as good as the Garmin
– It’s a third of the price of a new Garmin

I love the reminders to stand up and get active and that I can schedule other alarms and reminders for all my health needs. I will be having WLS in the near future; the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro will greatly aid me afterwards!

It has been difficult to get it set up and working correctly. The Zepp app has also been problematic. Customer service has been working with me and we are gradually getting the issues worked out.

All good but still issues remain. Only reason I didn’t rate this watch 5 star:
1. Swimming data is highly inaccurate. It shows much more length and laps than I swim. I tried almost all sorts of settings. No change.
2. Once I receive a call on my phone, for first 4/5 secs it is connected on the watch, then it switches to the phone audio. Very disturbing.
3. I don’t find zepp to be an intuitive app. I could be much more user friendly.

Otherwise, the watch is good.

Beyond expectations. I had long since heard about the longevity of the Amazfit watches. When I finally bought one at the end of 2022 I was really excited. After the initial tinkering phase, I had about half the internal services active (which I was warned might reduce battery performance) but the average survival time was still over a week. I only recently turned off the audio search, and that sky rocketed the watch time between charges to over a week and a half. Sure, I am not happy that ALL services (like email and text), don’t work, but as a fitness monitoring awesome watch, I can at least hope that more google services are included in future updates.

Screen scratched with little use. I got this as a gift and overall I love it. I do very little physical work and somehow my screen already has a bad scratch after less than a week. I have been near nothing that could have scratched it. It’s bad enough that I almost don’t want to use it anymore.

I rarely charge this watch, and have gone for days without needing to recharge it with the “Always on display” turned on. I keep it on all the time and haven’t turned it off yet. If you’re looking for a watch that has really good battery that really could last a couple days while being connected with your phone, then this is the go-to watch. It’s a very durable watch and the glass doesn’t scratch easily. The watch is actually safe to get wet or completely submerge, which i tried. To conclude, you need this watch if you’re looking for a luxury type but cheaper watch. The display is OLED which is cool as well!
