Works great on blemishes. No overdryin.
So I did an experiment with my stress/hormonal acne. I tested on a huge pimple(somewhat under the surface/a little on the surface) and then I put one on an area where it was still under the skin but left untreated felt it would be the same as the biggest pimple promptly visible.I circled in yellow where I have already used the two patches. I used 2 one the large pimple and 1 on the one still deeper in the layers of skin. I have used the cosrx pimple patches on the other pimples more towards the surface. They work best when just cleansed when there is nothing such as any treatment like benzoyl peroxide but could get away with a salicylic acid toner. The zip sticker I used what was instructed or the toner type mention and found it worked fine but stays on immensely strong in comparison to the cosrx.So results…best used for pimple prevention than an occurring breakout as you can see on the purple circles. The one on the left side was a newer soon-to-be breakout where as the other was a current cystic breakout. Honestly after a few days (about 4 at least) the left is more of hyperpigmentation and is healing terrifically fast in comparison to the right breakout.The price point is a bit much but for emergencies of acne like this I think it’s a necessity since the cosrx aren’t enough for the big ones.
Lovely first day of use and my oily/dry skin feels soft and my acne became less inflamed The smell is meh it doesn’t really have a smell which is good It will be absorbed pretty fast which explains the texture of the serum I got it because it isn’t oily and is good for acne and pigmentation I suggest it for non sensitive skin but do a test put it on ur hand and wait to see for any reactions if nothing then ur good to go.

REAL PERSON. So I order this a while back and there was no review and I hesitate to order this because it was under the name of “GreenyGreen” something like that but using this product did help my skin but I still have some dark sports from acne from not to long ago . I occasionally get giant painful pimples on my face. (Maybe it’s a boil at that point?) Whatever. I’m old and it sucks when I break out like a preteen hitting puberty while working at McDonalds.So I tried these because Target had them on sale for more than half off a couple weeks ago. Best choice ever. That painful curse from the devil (aka hormones and too much sugar) really was down in 2 hours. It wasn’t totally gone. It’s not performing miracles. But the swelling and redness were gone and I could use makeup to cover it. Took a day or two to heal instead of a week.The price is high. I regret not buying all of Target’s stock while it was on sale. But it works when nothing else has, so this is my go-to.

Don’t buy this. Well I just got it in the mail but it was the wrong Ascorbic acid it says alpha Arbutin 2% HA I wouldn’t recommend buying this since it doesn’t give you the right advertising
Doesn’t actually get rid of the pimple, but does help to make it look flatter and less noticeable. I doubt I’d be buying this again though, since it costs so much for only 4 patches. Great for emergencies, but not cost effective to use regularly.

Horrible. They gave me the wrong product!!!!! The product I ordered clearly comes in a brown container this is CLEAR and it’s only alpha Arbutin!.

It cleared my skin quite fast. The smell and fragrance from the cleanser is a bit strong and irritating just a little. And I stopped using it when I started to peel (don’t stop using it) and don’t use it in the morning until your skin is really used to it I made that mistake and burnt my skin in the morning before my day, I’d use something moisturising in the morning.
I ordered this set for myself in the winter when I had a bad reaction to the cold weather in Chicago in combination with some inflammation due to tetrinoin use. The cleanser was my favorite part. Very creamy and hydrating, loved it. Works best when you apply to dry skin and massage it in. You can wipe it off with a clean towel because it will soften and losen dead skin and residue and exfoliate. I also used the serum after and during home micro needling sessions, it protected my skin and helped it heal quickly. It really prevented post micro needling moisture loss. My least favorite product in the bundle was the moisturizer, I found it too light and also stings my skin. I prefer, to do ” slugging” with heavier water soluable moisturizing skin balms. This seems like it would be a good light weight moisturizer in the summer months when working out outside…I never tried to wear it with sunscreen though so I don’t know if it would be compatible. But it wasn’t a bad product just not exactly what I was looking for. The ordinary is great because they use glass whenever possible so I prefer thier serums for that reason as well, and they always deliver a quality product at a great price point. The picture is my skin make up free after using these products for a month.

I highly recommend this product. It works for all skin types. I have a combo of oily, dry and normal on certain parts of my face. I have been using this product for a week now. I don’t use the moisturizer because it says use as needed. The one time I did use it. It made my face more oily. the first two products were more than enough for me. Not saying the moisturizer isn’t great. I’m just saying my face was super hydrated right now. But I can definitely see me using it more when I’m in the sun or outside. I also have really bad dark circle. I have tried every product. You can probably think of to get rid of them. This serum + a gua sha took care of that for me. There extremely extremely light. I don’t wash my face because any product I use always makes it worse or if I forget a day or stop using it. It makes my face even worse. I skipped 2 days to see what would happen. my face was perfectly fine and when I started using it again, it worked just as great. So if you like me, you’re always struggling to find the perfect product 10 to 10 recommend this. I wish I would’ve took in a before and after picture, but I didn’t think I would be writing a review lol. But since it was so good, I thought this information might help someone

Tiny bottles. Advertised dishonestly with pictures. Works OK, but must be used religiously to see any progress. It’s kinda like missing your meds and having symptoms if you stop usage or use sporadically: you lose progress if you forget a “dose.” But, I’ve have noticed some small changes, when I use as suggested. It does dry my skin out a little. I still like that it makes some of the dark spots fade, and the bumps less visible tho. Bottom line: Order a bigger size. And use as suggested. ( Morning and Evening. 🙂

When I went to use the cleanser, I opened the bottle and it started gushing out. I thought that was unusual but thought it might just have been pressure from the shipping process. But I have now had this set for a few weeks and every time I open the cleanser it just spills out. I have bought the cleanser on its own multiple times at Ulta and the consistency is more thick. It is still a balm and comes out easily, but nowhere as easily as what I’ve experienced with this one. I don’t know if I just got a wonky batch, but I will not be repurchasing this set. When I get a proper version of it, this cleanser is my favorite. It is gentle on my skin and leaves it velvety soft but cleanses all makeup when I use it.The hyaluronic acid is great, and exactly like the ones I’ve purchased before.This was my first time trying the moisturizer; and I was underwhelmed. I have pretty dry skin and it leaves my skin feeling a little greasy but still dry. Not what I want from a moisturizer.

I love this serum and have been using it for 3 years now and i am pleased to say that this is an original product
the moisturizer is awful.
I use these every time I have a deep and or painful zit. I may have to use them a few days in a row, but they work. They are great to use the night before a big event, and they stay on all night. They are semi-discreet, and I don’t think they’d be noticed unless someone was very close.

This is a great skincare product for pimples! They come in the box individually packaged to maintain and preserve the acids or active ingredients. And once you open a single pimple patch, they’re a good size for common pimple sizes. They stick really well to the skin too after placing them where you want them and holding them down for about 20 seconds.
My son started using it and I feel like it was working well, then one day he said it burned pretty bad. He hasn’t used it since.

this is one of my favorite face serum and face routine manufacturers the ordinary. I’ve tried very high-end expensive face serums I’ve tried Dollar store ones as well but they use by the ordinary are hands down my absolute favorite and you can literally see the results within 7 days. my favorite is the caffeine face serum and honestly this three pack serves all my needs I’m 34 I’m just starting to get a little laugh lines on my face and the caffeine solution helps immensely with that the hydrologic acid serum helps restore moisture and fullness to my face and then niaminnocide serum helps with new breakouts that I might have. all in all the purchases definitely worth the money and it should probably be charged for more but it’s great the way it is.

I purchased this serum because it contains ingredients that suit my skin type, and so far, I’m satisfied. However, the texture tends to pill on the skin, which makes it unsuitable for wearing under makeup.

I don’t recommend this acne treatment set. After only 3 days of using this very acne treatment set I am left with a very painful chemical burn. My face burns and stings with the slightest facial expression, is very red and irritated, and is very dry.

I recall trying out this item a couple of years back when it gained sudden popularity on TikTok. It significantly improved the hydration and softness of my skin. Although I discontinued using it, my sister’s positive experience prompted me to give it another shot. Upon application, it quickly revitalized my skin within a few days. The Ordinary’s niacinamide is truly a gem for facial care. If you’re feeling unsure, give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.

My only qualm is that I wish I found this brand sooner. Everything you want from the science elements of skincare and nothing you don’t. (Other than this brand I stick to 100% natural homemade skincare like: aloe vera gel, mango butter, caster oil, castile soap, apple cider vinegar, etc and this fills in the gaps)*I noticed a CONSIDERABLE difference after my second use. After maybe 4 days, I’m shocked. It’s like my blemishes and discoloration disappeared. My skin tone is more smooth and bright. I’ve never been exactly acne prone, but my skin has felt dull, with black heads and white heads kinda being the baseline normal for me for four years. I almost can’t stop looking in the mirror. THANK YOU THE ORDINARY.Definitely buying a bunch of other products from them. And the PRICE is so refreshing. I absolutely cringe that I drank the kool-aid and used to spend $50 on a 1.5 ounce moisturizer that was full of chemicals. *shudders* no more.
The Ordinary Niacinamide is amazing! It’s super hydrating and doesn’t have a strong scent, which I love. It’s a staple in my skincare routine. The clear formula is really cool, and it’s not sticky at all, making it so easy to apply. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a simple, effective product!

I bought this to shrink pores. I feel it is working after a weeks use I noticed a difference. My skin feels less oily. A bit perky at times but I expected that. There is no scent. For the price it was worth a try and I’m not disappointed. Wish I knew about this years ago

Works very well and it contains a lot which means it will last a long time.I have been using it for over a week, about twice a day and have only used about 5% or so of the product meaning it should last months before running out.I recommend to moisturize a few minutes after using product or your skin may dry out a bit.Overall it is very easy to apply and has a very good price. I have noticed it is able to control acne a bit but have yet to notice significant improvement after using product for over a week.
I like the cleanser, the moisturizer is fine also, albeit very thick and could be diluted, and the hyaluronic acid is like any other hyaluronic acid and is a bit sticky on the skin. I prefer a thinner moisturizer, and can normally use a good DHC oil cleanser for the same purpose as the cleanser. However, my skin turns out nice afterward.

This is my second time ordering this product, and it has done wonders for my skin. But this is something that you should probably use only a few times a week at night if you have sensitive skin. It also leaves a little bit of a sticky residue if you put on a lot because it is kind of thick, so use in moderation. It doesn’t leave my skin too oily, which is rare to find in a product. Overall it is effective in soothing and clearing my skin.
Price: The price is decent, but I feel they waste some packaging because in the cleanser & moisturizer, it definitely was not filled all the way up. The oil I feel will last a while because a little goes a long way. However, the cleanser & moisturizer, depending on how often you use them… likely won’t last long.Effectiveness: I definitely noticed a difference after using each of these products. Though, I’ve only used them once so far. I may come back to update, but I did feel clean, smooth, soft & my skin looked happier 😂Consistency: The serum wasn’t overly oily. The moisturizer does go from a thicker lotion-type cream to an oil after following directions & warming it in your fingers before applying it. Which I liked. The moisturizer was also fairly lightweight.All in all, after one use, I like these products. I liked that this is a whole 3 step kit, making it a very simple process. My most frustrating aspect would be the half filled cleanser & moisturizer, as those bottles are very small anyway. Photos show how much they’re actually filled, before I even used them.

I use this for sun damage; brown spots on my face. Used day and night, my skin improved a lot and I don’t want to be without it. And I’ve used many other products over the years. I trust this company. But I’m old and have always spent a lot of time outdoors. I never used sun protection until I was in my 50’s. So this is quite surprising. Now if I could find a product that honestly stopped wrinkles….not fine lines, I’d be thrilled. But hey when you are almost 80, what do I expect?

I’ve had this for a few days. I use it morning and night so far. What people don’t say about this product is during the day I’ve noticed a bit of a peeling / flaking from the product it’s self. At night I guess I sleep it off ? So it doesn’t do that. It does lay on nice and at first gives you such glowing skin even once it drys. Leaves skin soft also. It’s not irritating at all and hasn’t worsened my acne or redness. I do touch my face a lot so don’t do like I do and see if it’s less flaky lol. Definitely worth a try so far so good. ( I use the peeling solution , hyaluronic acid , and niacinamide zinc. )
So I’ve had this for a few days. This product is so far good. I’ve only left it on for 5 mins most because you have to work your way up to 10 minutes. It does not actually peel you’re face like other products I have used, but with that being said it leaves you’re skin baby soft !! So great for nighttime !! I have very sensitive skin so looking for new face washes can be hard. Trying this out for the first time my experience was so cool! I’ve never use a face wash that turns into oil. Este suero de The Ordinary ha sido un cambio total en mi rutina. La niacinamida al 10% combinada con zinc ayuda muchísimo a controlar el exceso de grasa, minimizar los poros y reducir las imperfecciones.Lo uso por las mañanas antes de mi hidratante, y con el tiempo he notado mi piel más equilibrada y con menos brotes. Tiene una textura ligera, se absorbe rápido y no irrita (aunque puede picar un poco si tienes la piel muy sensible).Excelente relación calidad-precio. Un básico que siempre quiero tener a mano.

Wow this one is serious. Such a great burn and turned my face so red. Burned when putting on moisturizer for three days after. I can’t wait to use it again tomorrow to start judging the results. I would recommend

This mask made my skin feel like powder on the first use and stayed feeling soft even after showering! I have relatively severe acne which leaves my skin really dry, uneven, and have a lot of acne scars as well (i will show a pic of my skin for reference). Immediately my skin felt a lot less textured, dry and irritated and also I could see some of the scars even out a little bit. Also their other product Niacinamide 10% Zinc 1% helps me a lot for surface level break outs and scarring.
Loved getting a set. My skin definitely feels less dry and bland. Been using for a couple weeks now, occasionally along with Bio oil or castor oil. I also use a different facial cleanser to remove my makeup before I go in with this cleanser. I have noticed that my face can’t be too wet, just slightly damp, then I go in real diligently with it. It does not lather like lots of other cleansers. I do believe it helps restore my moisture in my skin after going in with my first cleanser.

I was skeptical of this because some persons say it burned their skin. Hello? I didn’t even feel a tingle muchless a burn. It works well. Hopefully it makes my pores smaller after I use it some more.

this stuff works so well 😭 it clears my forehead up of those little bumps and any pimples in like five days tops and stays gone with consistent use of once a day. i hadn’t realized that it’s water based so i was using it on dry skin when you should be using it on semi wet skin, just as your skin is drying so it absorbs evenly. this stuff is so amazing that the only thing that sucks about it is when you stop using it consistently you notice 🙁 for the price i would buy this for the rest of my life lol.

I keep coming back to this niacinamide product.Ive tried others, some with a higher percentage and they dont do anything. This one by ordinary is the only one I’ve found that gives that glowy youthful skin.Its a bit sticky even after drying, I usually apply a thick moisturizer on after this and that helps a lot. I apply this at night and I pat it on (method I feel works the best for application)My face is smooth and plump looking the next morning with a nice healthy youthful glow. It doesnt do much for hydration but it does keep my skin acne free and even in tone (along with some other products)I dont use this by itself its just one product of a few in my routine but for me its the best niacinamide product out there. I feel its the cleanest version free of fillers that may lessen its effects. Its just a simple form and I love that about the ordinary products. Its just simple.A bottle lasts me a little over a month, I apply approx half a dropper worth onto my face and neck nightly.
