I paid more for whats it worth! Did not know it was a starter kit for 35.00$ I didnt notice that it said starter kit thats a lot of money for a small item and when it came I was highly upset I usually get the normal size for that amount of money I feel like I was played for my money cause for one it didnt have any thing pictured stating it was a trial size as you can see from the picture above for that amount of money it should have been bigger than that!

Holy Grail for Oily Skin. Oily skin Holy Grail cleanser. I have combination oily skin and this really does moisturize while keeping me matte and not tight feeling. I highly recommend this cleaner. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing !!! I’ve been dealing with bad hormonal acne this past year, and was spending so much money on other brands trying to find something to clear my face up. Then I saw this set on Elf and thought I should give it a try. I am so glad I did because in just the first few weeks there were visible changes, my face feels so much nicer, smoother, and even ! I have combination skin, with my t-zone being oily and the rest dry. However, the face wash did not dry my skin out, nor did the moisturizer ! I’ve also been using the Elf acne spot treatment alongside this. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it. I ended up ordering the full sized products since I’m almost out, so these small trial sizes actually last a good bit !

The consistency is different than I am accustomed to. Instead of being a soaping, foaming cleanser, this is an emulsion cleanser with a gel-like consistency. The directions state to warm a small amount of the cleanser by rubbing your hands back and forth and then apply the cleanser to a dry face. After rinsing with warm water, my face was clean and noticeably softer!

Does not remove mascara. This product does not remove washable mascara like my usual product. They were out of my usual Equate 2 in 1 foaming face wash. People are correct, this product does not foam. i prefer the product below.
Totally ruined my skin. I have PCOS and have suffered from acne my entire life. I decided to try out this kit when I saw it. Used it for 2 days and my skin got red, irritated and I broke out with tiny white heads all over. I trust E.L.F so I doubt it’s the products fault. Just don’t use if your skin is sensitive
Poor packaging. The item was completely opened and leaked all over the entire bag of items, and you could tell that the bottom was open because top of the bottle wasn’t even screwed on

Forget the big box store cleansers. Buy this. I have blackhead issues due to my naturally higher testosterone levels. Out of all of the acne-prone skincare products I’ve tried, this entire kit has been the most effective at solving my issues without exacerbating acne through other means. The cleanser’s 1% salicylic acid (instead of the 2% in other products) along with additional ingredients didn’t dry out my skin, the water cream continues treatment while preventing drying, and the serum packed the biggest punch in getting blackheads out of my skin.
If you want to give e.l.f’s Blemish Breakthrough kit a try, buy this mini kit first.
Not good for oily skin. I started using this and it has caused a horrible breakout and rash on my forehead. It clogged my pores even worse than they were before. I say to splurge and get the name brand if you’re trying to decide between the two. It’s worth the extra couple of dollars.
Amazing! I absolutely love love this it clears up my skin everytime. I usually put it on after I shower before I go to bed. This affordable product works great! I love this product and the best thing I like about it is I’m in control. it works great but in some places I get dry skin because of it so I just use less. love that it it is thick so it doesn’t run off your face. I can also use it more often, or less and put it on heavy or less. No two people have the same skin issues so this product can be used to suit many people. I’m an older person but still struggle with problematic skin. Pimples specifically the largest issue. I saw this product which was simply, “Benzoyl Peroxide” so I figured I would try it and am happy I did. It is super an affordable and effective product.

Half the Product 4 the Same Price. Purchased this a year ago but it was a 60 day size for the same price. This is the one dermatologist developed skin care line that works. I have viral products that trend but since using this cleared my skin. I used this for years and my skin is resilient.

Smaller than it use to be. It doesn’t work as well and the sizing is really small. I know it’s a thirty day trial but I know when I used this in my younger years it wasn’t this small! I got it for my daughter and you don’t even get enough to fully try it for thirty days. I guess that’s what happens with inflation. Cut back as much as you can!

Do not waste your money. Put a thin layer on my face before bed. Woke up to a red, swollen face. My skin is so dry now and incredibly itchy. I’ve never been sensitive to products. This was just way too harsh.

I ordered this set for myself in the winter when I had a bad reaction to the cold weather in Chicago in combination with some inflammation due to tetrinoin use. The cleanser was my favorite part. Very creamy and hydrating, loved it. Works best when you apply to dry skin and massage it in. You can wipe it off with a clean towel because it will soften and losen dead skin and residue and exfoliate. I also used the serum after and during home micro needling sessions, it protected my skin and helped it heal quickly. It really prevented post micro needling moisture loss. My least favorite product in the bundle was the moisturizer, I found it too light and also stings my skin. I prefer, to do ” slugging” with heavier water soluable moisturizing skin balms. This seems like it would be a good light weight moisturizer in the summer months when working out outside…I never tried to wear it with sunscreen though so I don’t know if it would be compatible. But it wasn’t a bad product just not exactly what I was looking for. The ordinary is great because they use glass whenever possible so I prefer thier serums for that reason as well, and they always deliver a quality product at a great price point. The picture is my skin make up free after using these products for a month.
Terrible Shipping of a liquid item. Walmart shipped a liquid item inside an open bucket in bag instead of a box so the soap dispenser obviously got thrown around and spilled. The soap was inexpensive so it’s not worth the effort to return. Choose wisely the items you buy when you purchase liquid items from them. Never had an issue like this with Amazon.

perfect for young skin. My sister just started getting acne, so I got her this set. Super simple, basic skincare routine that helped her clear up her skin with little effort.
This face wash smells like jalapeños. Fun fact: it smells like jalapeños. They should either rethink the scent or own up to it and rebrand it as jalapeño face wash. If you love your spicy peppers, this face wash is for you. As for me, I will stick with the name brand.
Please seal the pump. They generally seal the pump when I order shampoo, conditioner etc. Some tube products don’t need to be sealed. It’s only messy in the ziplock bag which is good because I ordered some snacks in the same cart.

Works great for me. This works really well for random breakouts. I put it on at night after cleaning my face and then sleep with it on. It reduces size of acne and redness.

Made me break out more. I had really high hopes for these products. My normal routine of Cetaphil daily facial cleanser and a oil free antioxidant facial moisterizer seemed to work better. I have been using this elf kit for a month now and i am breaking out a ton more . Very disappointed and I really hoped this would clear up my skin because I am very incucure about my acne.

I recall trying out this item a couple of years back when it gained sudden popularity on TikTok. It significantly improved the hydration and softness of my skin. Although I discontinued using it, my sister’s positive experience prompted me to give it another shot. Upon application, it quickly revitalized my skin within a few days. The Ordinary’s niacinamide is truly a gem for facial care. If you’re feeling unsure, give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.
I got almost very similar serums from polish choice, but it was like $30 so this is a really really good cheaper option and I really like the zinc in it. It gives you that smooth barrier protector for your skin whenever you go outside I will definitely be buying again.

My only qualm is that I wish I found this brand sooner. Everything you want from the science elements of skincare and nothing you don’t. (Other than this brand I stick to 100% natural homemade skincare like: aloe vera gel, mango butter, caster oil, castile soap, apple cider vinegar, etc and this fills in the gaps)*I noticed a CONSIDERABLE difference after my second use. After maybe 4 days, I’m shocked. It’s like my blemishes and discoloration disappeared. My skin tone is more smooth and bright. I’ve never been exactly acne prone, but my skin has felt dull, with black heads and white heads kinda being the baseline normal for me for four years. I almost can’t stop looking in the mirror. THANK YOU THE ORDINARY.Definitely buying a bunch of other products from them. And the PRICE is so refreshing. I absolutely cringe that I drank the kool-aid and used to spend $50 on a 1.5 ounce moisturizer that was full of chemicals. *shudders* no more.

I bought this to shrink pores. I feel it is working after a weeks use I noticed a difference. My skin feels less oily. A bit perky at times but I expected that. There is no scent. For the price it was worth a try and I’m not disappointed. Wish I knew about this years ago

I bought this for my 15 yr old daughter, who is just now experiencing the acne stage of being a teenager. I asked her what her opinion of this product was, and she said this. It dries up on her skin, especially the forehead, and during class, it peels and comes off. And i can see a little difference since she started using it. However, i dont think this particular product is right for her skin.

I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome so my collagen makes my skin different, and this product helps me get rid of acne quickly without popping and damaging my skin, preventing scarring. I love this product and I’m glad this more affordable brand exists. It’s kinda weird? It goes on with a soft lotion feel instead of a greasy one, but then your skin feels really dry after like 15 minutes. But at the same time, when I wake up the next day, my acne isn’t quite as read.
I recommend doing the following steps for the best working method:
1. Try to use it daily. Start with washing your face, preferably with something like CeraVe or whatever the best gentle face soap you can afford is.
2. Gently dry your face.
3. Apply the gel, rubbing it in gently but thoroughly over your acne. It doesn’t take a lot.
4. Wait about 20 minutes or so until your skin feels dry.
5. Apply a gentle face lotion to rehydrate your skin since the acne gel dries it out somewhat.
6. Your skin will feel a lot better than usual after a while!
The only real con is that it’s kinda pricey. 4.5/5!

might actually work. I think I like it. I feel like it has helped to keep some pimples from fully developing when I use it as a spot treatment. At least it seems to be doing more than other products that don’t even do that. It does leave a bit of a white film if you apply too much but doesn’t smell horrible or anything

I like the cleanser, the moisturizer is fine also, albeit very thick and could be diluted, and the hyaluronic acid is like any other hyaluronic acid and is a bit sticky on the skin. I prefer a thinner moisturizer, and can normally use a good DHC oil cleanser for the same purpose as the cleanser. However, my skin turns out nice afterward.

Price: The price is decent, but I feel they waste some packaging because in the cleanser & moisturizer, it definitely was not filled all the way up. The oil I feel will last a while because a little goes a long way. However, the cleanser & moisturizer, depending on how often you use them… likely won’t last long.Effectiveness: I definitely noticed a difference after using each of these products. Though, I’ve only used them once so far. I may come back to update, but I did feel clean, smooth, soft & my skin looked happier 😂Consistency: The serum wasn’t overly oily. The moisturizer does go from a thicker lotion-type cream to an oil after following directions & warming it in your fingers before applying it. Which I liked. The moisturizer was also fairly lightweight.All in all, after one use, I like these products. I liked that this is a whole 3 step kit, making it a very simple process. My most frustrating aspect would be the half filled cleanser & moisturizer, as those bottles are very small anyway. Photos show how much they’re actually filled, before I even used them.

Lying. I paid for The ordinary salicylic acid but I got Niacinamide from ordinary which I have already so no use and I really need my salicylic so will not be getting nothing from here again

Es una muy buena combinación para la piel con acné pero antes de usarlo deben consultarlo si se están tratando su piel para que no vayan a tener algún problema, me encanta porque trae desmaquillador lo que quiere decir que una de las causas de la piel con acné es el maquillaje

Buy the original. I recommend the product, but not the seller, Blossom Cosmetics Inc. I’ve used The Ordinary serums before and really like them. However, the caffeine eye serum wasn’t tinted yellow like previous bottles. It was clear, which seemed odd to me. When I opened it, there were little specks of black mold on the dropper and floating in the serum. In looking at other reviews, people are saying these products are fake and not the ones sold by The Ordinary.
