Battery power and smart apps. I have had this watch for over a week and can honestly say it’s one of the best smart watches I have owned. The battery life is top notch, sleep app functions are great, and exercising apps are pretty spot on.

Needs more horsepower! Decent watch overall, but not enough power with the processor and memory. Example changing from Bluetooth connection from the phone to 4GLTE data, tracking a run and streaming music from Spotify, the watch falls apart and becomes unusable. Processor, RAM and internal memory need to be upgraded for the watch to perform as intended. Would help battery life too. 2 hours max from full charge of tracking GPS and streaming music, battery is drained. Not super impressed.

Samsung, up your game at this price point. Incremental upgrades will not cut it. Let’s go!

I must be spoiled. Absolutely horrible watch. It took multiple attempts and ultimately easily more than 3 hours to get it to update. The initial setup seems seamless but after you reset it what feels like 10 times you come to find out that you’re very first attempt at setup was missing several things that should have taken place the very first time you were setting it up. It refused to update to some apparent update that has been announced. It is very slow to calculate calories because it appears to only calculate them specifically when doing an exercise when it should be total calories for the whole day. Font looks small. If you fidget enough with it, which is rather common when owning a smartwatch, it will not last the so-called 80 hours that it’s outs in marketing. The heavily marketed second screen is very very very difficult to read unless you activate the backlight. It is not a good watch at all. I must be spoiled, because this thing gets a ton of rave reviews. It is definitely not worth 350 bucks.

Wonderful for the most part. This watch is awesome and has all the features you could wish for. The ONLY issue is that it lags sometimes. It may be because it was in power save mode. Other than that it is a great watch.

No Blood Pressure Monitor. I bought this watch on the pretense that it could monitor blood pressure as stated in the features. Tech and software support said that the feature is only offered outside of the united states. Disappointed

Great watch, great battery, great health services! I absolutely love this watch!
First off it feels great on my wrist. The watch is lightweight but feels very sturdy. The battery life is also amazing. Lasts a few days before I need to think about charging and when I do need to charge, it takes no time at all to fill up the battery! The heath services on this watch are top notch. I really enjoy looking at my sleep patterns, heart rate and the TicZen options.
I am also very impressed that this is a waterproof watch. That is going to be great when the summer comes. All in all this is a great watch. This is my 3rd smart watch and then only one I plan on wearing. Thanks TicWatch for a great product!

Awesome watch with a couple of annoyances. The watch is excellent, and a big upgrade from my watch four classic, however I severely question the lack of a rotating bezel. This was one of the best features of the watch four classic, and probably the only thing I miss tremendously. That and the somewhat inaccurate step counter are causing me to deduct a star!

pretty good, but not perfect. i had the ticwatch 4 pro ultra and i loved it, the speaker quit working on it, then when I saw they came out with this one, I got. its nice, its faster i believe, and has some cool features, but one thing i dont like is the speaker is soooo quiet compared to the last watch. ive also had a lot of problems with calling on it, no one can hear me on the other end half the time, and since the speaker is so quiet you can’t really hear them either. the battery might be a tad better, but not a huge difference, I think most of that comes from the feature to go into essential mode between certain times. overall its not a bad watch, I’d wait until the price drops unlike i did.

does not work as advertised. it doesnt connect via blutooth,it doesnt work with a sim,it doesnt work qith an sd card. this is just straight up false advertising

a one star not the right order. i gotten the wrong thing and I didn’t order this and it’s not working either i would like a refund

Surprisingly glad to have upgraded. I was nervous to buy a new watch. I have had the galaxy sport 2 for so long. However i had to get a new phone and the watch no longer worked with it so a new watch was bought. The price couldnt be beat and I do love having a newer watch. My watch face changes every couple days so it always looks different. The only downside is i cannot see my current activity and steps on the watch face like I used to. That makes me sad as I am no longer motivated to check my activity. I dont like that you have to open the app on the phone or watch to check. I liked it so much better when I could just glance at the watch and see right away where I was in my goals.

Great hardware killed by software. The previous versions or the flagship ticwatch (the Pro 3 GPS, Pro 3 Ultra and even the budget E3) all had a great experiences with google wallet and google assistant. The pro 5 literally makes you uninstall the wear OS app to operate. I couldn’t get the google wallet to work even after talking with customer support with 2 credit cards and “google chat”. The google assistant just no longer exists. The hardware on this phone is top notch but without a smooth wear OS experience it takes away all it’s value. Its like a sports car you can only drive in the school zone. Personally, after using flagship smart watches for years, most functions that I actually use on a daily basis can be found on todays budget smart watches (40-100 dollar range) and end up getting better battery life since the watch isnt trying to do everything your phone is already doing. Do your research and only pay for what youre going to use.

The Good and the Bad. I have been a proponent of Mobvoi and their Ticwatch products since their inception on Kickstarter. I was attracted to their design, price, and capability. For a few years now the Ticwatch Pro has been the top choice of watches in their arsenal and I will point out some areas where they are extremely attractive to buyers but also some areas where the product fails to meet its high expectations.

The Good:
The Ticwatch Pro 5 does not disappoint when it comes to design. It’s a beautiful, sleek, styled watch that fits nicely on a person’s wrist. It comes packed with lots of capability ranging from sleep monitoring, to exercise, to relaxation and breathing. Apps are available on the Google Play store and watch faces are also there as well so you can customize your look. The TP5’s battery life is outstanding. It will function with all the bells and whistles for 2 days and can work for up to 30 days in Essential Mode without a charge. The TP5’s display is a two layered display that has a LCD screen sandwiched between the glass and the normal monitor. When in Essential Mode, the watch will default to this screen so even though the watch’s charge is low you can still monitor steps, heart rate, and time and date before you have to place it down on it’s charging cable. This is a major selling point and it’s price tag places it below some of it’s competitors. Over all excellent features that would make any user happy.

I’m an iPhone user…..this is a big no no, Mobvoi. In the past the TP1-3 have all been iPhone friendly and will link easily to the popular cellular device….not so, here. The TP5 is fully an Android only watch. There are one or two workarounds that allow an Apple user to access messages through Bluetooth but by and large it is extremely unreliable and often disconnects as soon as a person is out of bluetooth range. Re connection is an annoying task of forgetting bluetooth connections and re connection each time this occurs. That said, the watch can function on it’s own after set up but as an Apple user I had to buy a cheap Android tablet just to set the watch up. This, I find, is a major flaw.

In conclusion, I love the watch for what it is but I feel Mobvoi should do the right thing and create an app that allows for iPhone connection as it severely limits the ease of use of this device.

Hate this watch. Its hard to operate and doesn’t have any features that I want to use. I’m using a Samsung galaxy watch that is ten time’s easier to use and works much better.

For me this has been the Goldilocks of watches. Not too big, not too small; just the right size, amount of options, apps….it is just perfect for me. I swim and it records that activity. And it doesn’t have a nasty side effect that other things can leave on your wrist such as burn marks that I have had with previous fitness watches. I love this watch because it is comfortable and you can pick out the layout it’s easy to read. At any time you can do an O2 sensor for yourself to see how much oxygen you’re in taking. And basically just to get your O2 levels up. You can also at any time do a heart rate and you can also do an ECG it even lets you know by buzzing if you are going above and beyond your usual heart rate. It will automatically program an exercise if you are doing a repeated motion this is literally the best thing I can ever think of as far as a piece of fitness tracking equipment. And it is an expensive. This is by far the best thing I’ve ever purchased and it keeps me focused to stay on track and losing weight.

Previous model watch still running strong. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After running with the galaxy watch 2 for 3 years i decided it was time for an upgrade and what I ended up deciding on was the galaxy watch 5 pro.

3 years after it’s release date and this watch still holds up with everything that I can throw at it. For full disclosure I mainly use this watch as a running tracker and everyday activity tracker. Definitely not an athlete, but for the average person this watch has more than enough to keep track of the basic things that you need. The spotify integration is seamless and it makes it super simple to use this watch without my phone which really helps if I need it on my morning runs. The distance tracking is nice and the auto activity recognition is certainly present.

Despite being 3 years old and having the heart rate monitor always on, this watch can still last me an average of 2 days on a single charge, which is pretty wild considering I only ever got an 8 hour work day out of my fitbit I previously owned.

If you want a watch for the every day person and you don’t need professional levels of heart rate tracking or calories burned then this is an excellent pickup for you.

Galaxy Pro 5 Watch Review After 1 Year. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my Galaxy Pro 5 watch about a year ago and so far I absolutely love it. There’s a great array of apps, the ones I use are more for health like heart rate and relaxation as well as alarms and timers but it really does so much more.
The gestures really work well to navigate and to choose applications.
I enjoy the great variety of different faces but I really only use a couple which that I’m really used to but I do play around with them.
The popularity of a galaxy product gives you access to quite a few accessories to protect it and to make it more comfortable to wear. I have the silicone magnetic band but in my hobby I’m always attaching myself to a screwdriver or something so I’m going to go to a band that isn’t magnetic.
I do get a little chafing from the silicone so I’m going with more of a cloth one.
I have used the flashlight feature more than once, also the little nudge on the hour is very useful.
It’s very handy to be able to adjust your settings on your apps to extend your battery life. I went with the Galaxy Pro 5 because of the extra battery life and can’t wait for a model to come out that has more battery life I’m ready to upgrade when that happens!
And I have to mention the connection with Samsung health with not only exercising, but all the functions it does when I sleep at night I can’t wait to see what my different sleep patterns are and even if I’ve snored. All in all I love my watch and would definitely buy it again, it’s why they’re so popular.
