wanted an affordable but sturdy enough product with college ruled lines that had an attractive color system that i could use for note taking in my various online courses — and the 6-colors gives me a chance to know at a glance which notebook to look for and use quickly. There are other brands out there that are much cheaper/thinner, and i am sure there are others out there that are fancier but unnecessarily pricey. This version and brand are JUST RIGHT like in the 3-bears story. It fits my price point, basic easthetic visual needs, and I CAN WRITE FAST on this, and LOVE THE tearable pages so if i want I can put something in a binder — but, these are thin enough (but have enough pages for taking several hours of notes) that I can also fit them into a 3-ring binder versus have to remove the pages. They also fit easily into my manilla folders where I keep extra loose leaf notes on the same topic. THESE ARE NOW MY ESSENTIAL STAPLE TO HAVE AROUND THE HOUSE FOR NOTE TAKING ANY TIME. TRY IT! YOU’LL LIKELY LIKE IT!!! This is the price-point that matches the value of this product. I would not pay higher as this is a perfect match — and, i will keep buying these over and over again cause it works on all the points I need this package to work. Try it! You’ll like it, too! Especially if you like to also write on College Ruled!

… quality of paper; the only two hick ups I have about these notebooks of paper is that while writing on the pages they are so light-weight they curl over my hand while I write and so I have to hold the paper down with my non-writing hand so I can see my writing but this is while a sit up in a bed with my knees raised; I am disabled and cannot sit at a table to write. I have accelerated degenerate disease in my back, neck and shoulders and cannot sit on a regular chair and table to keep the notebooks flat on a table so this is the reason for this particular problem with this thin of paper quality but the paper isn’t so thin that I can see my bic pen ink on the other side of each piece so, to me, this is quality thin paper but the curling-over is irritating and I don’t have the same issue with thicker quality of paper notebooks but the thicker notebooks are heavier and are more difficult for me to hold up on my thighs to write in them on a bed. I love these notebooks because they are color-coded with their different colored fronts which is what I need; they are light-weight and easier to hold on my lap while needing to be on a bed to write; the wire spiral-binding is of good quality and keeps it’s shape with no points sticking out to cause wire-poked injuries (as I’ve experienced that with some cheaper brands) and 70 sheets per notebook is enough for what I am doing; they are just plain nice; I like them; this is my second purchase; I plan to order them again next month; do wish the price could come down even by $1.50 as that would help me not run out of paper before I can buy more the next month but I can wait and use note pads for other writing I like to do so it is doable.

There really isn’t much to say, the pages are crisp, the notebooks are pretty cheap but don’t feel cheap at all. 12 bucks and some change, you got pretty good college ruled notebooks that shouldn’t be this good for this cheap. Good for class or journaling, jotting things down or just having a notebook to keep things in.
