Smells so good
I looooooveee this candle! It smells so peaceful hence the name label. All seasons but for fall its a great scent – cozy warm soft lovely smell! It is a soy blend and it burns even!The aroma reaches the whole house!I love this collection so far. I really wish I can find this other scent I love that is just as nice sooth and comfort!

Not much fragrance
This is a good quality candle, but I feel that I have mostly paid for the glass jar (which is nice) so value for the money isn’t that great unless representation is all you care about.Burning time as advertised, about 24 hours. I didn’t time it or anything, but it didn’t last a week with regular use. Biggest complaint is the scent. Promising description but compared to other candles we’ve used this one has very faint fragrance and you need to be very close to notice it. Better to spend money a non-scented candle and save some money.

Most candles I order elsewhere don’t hold scent and provide too much soot. Chesapeake Bay Candles are made from a natural soy wax blend and enhanced with all natural essential oils. Fills the room with a very appealing and not overpowering aroma
I’ve never purchased a candle where so many guests ask me where they can buy one. It burns cleanly, the aroma is distinct yet not distracting and it fills a room with a subtle yet still noticeable scent. It’s my favorite summer candle.. We can eat a meal in the same room and not be overpowered by a scent so strong that it affects our enjoyment of the food ( ( unlike cinnamon or spice scented candles). This is a light summery scent, evoking images- at least to me- of warm breezes, newly mown grass ( although it doesn’t smell grassy) , and days spent lolling outside, reading a book or dining on the porch , patio, or deck with friends.Peace and tranquility are apt descriptions. This review was not solicited and I purchased this candle at full price. I have no connection to this company .

Lovely smell, burns well but clogs air filters
Candle really smells nice. Burns well. Only issue smoke excreted. Changing air filter, noticed black and greasy. “Soot particles created by burning paraffin candles can quickly clog your heating and cooling system’s air filter.” Found this online, explains problem. So, don’t use in winter, use sparingly. Typically spring and fall. Really too bad as love the scent. But definitely not good for your HVAC. That’s why I had to give it three stars.

The longest lasting and most powerfully scented candle you can buy.
I love candles for ambiance and fragrance. I have purchased many candles throughout my life. Without a doubt, these candles are the most fragrant, and long lasting, of them all. They are scented well enough that even when NOT burning, you can smell them which I love. When burning, definitely, they melt well and very slowly. These candles will not disappoint you.

Level of fragrance really depends on the type of candle you choose!
Have ordered 2 of these candles – the Peace + Tranquility (white) and the Reflection + Clarity (light blue). Both were excellent, but the Peace + Tranquility definitely had a lighter aroma / more subtle than the Reflection + Clarity. Saw several reviews stating they couldn’t smell the candle. There are 2 likely reasons – 1: if you have a large room/house that you want to smell the candle in, I highly recommend the coffee table jar, which has 3 wicks and smells much stronger than the single wick candles. However, since it has three wicks, it does burn through faster. I light mine every night for a couple of hours after dinner while I clean the kitchen and they each lasted about 2-3 weeks with nightly use. Secondly, it definitely seems to vary with the the fragrance type you use. The Peace + Tranquility is very light and fresh smelling, but not at all strong. The Reflection + Clarity is very strong and pleasant, it kind of smells like laundry detergent though (this can be a good or bad thing depending on how you feel about your laundry detergent!). I have a large house with high ceilings and you can smell the Reflection + Clarity everywhere after being lit 30 minutes or so. I like to use the R+C type of I make a very strong-smelling dinner (with lots of garlic or onions) where I want to refresh the house. I use the P+T when I just want a nice calm scent. I will definitely order again, but will probably try another couple of types since they seem to vary quite a bit…

Lovely but short lived
I’d never tried this brand before, opting for something different as my favorite brand seems to be diminishing in quality these days. And, I feel like this one is a bit steep for its overall longevity.The design is great, quality materials & aesthetically pleasing. But I feel like that is what I’m paying for- looks instead of function. The 3 wick feature is nice because it does burn evenly & consistently. But, it burns rather quickly. I’ve been using it approximately 4 hours each evening & it’s over halfway gone after a few days (approximately 24 total hours of burn time to reach the halfway mark). So, this isn’t going to last more than 48 hours, and that’s a bummer for the price tag attached.I love the smell, which is not overpowering. Very spa-like & pleasant, so you aren’t going to get strong whiffs of floral or fruit- it is very balanced, which lives up to it’s name. But, the scent doesn’t linger long or spread throughout to fill a room. I have a small studio & can’t smell it unless I’m on the same side of the room it’s burning. It does the trick, but not to the capacity I prefer.Overall I like the candle, look & scent. But I can’t justify the price for the longevity. This would make a nice gift, but I don’t see myself splurging on this for regular usage when there are other brands that emit more of a scent & burn twice as long. I could go without the fancy, frosted glass & wood topper (to be discarded, anyway- who actually puts the top back on between uses?!) if it meant more was put into the quality & longevity.

I have four of these
I have four of these candles in the coffee table size. There was one review that said they don’t have a scent, and I think that person must have had covid or something, because these scents are very fragrant! The smell fills up my whole downstairs after a half hour.Rose water is my favorite scent. It really smells like actual roses and it’s so pleasant.Sea salt sage doesn’t smell like sage – burnt nor unburnt. It smells more like laundry detergent. My mom really likes it, so it’s still a pleasant smell, just not sage.Lemongrass eucalyptus smells alright but it reminds me too much of something you would spray in a bathroom at your workplace to be enjoyable. It smells like one of those poo-pouries sprays or a febreeze. But that smell is really pleasant to some people, so if you like febreeze then you’ll like this candle!! It just feels like it’s too fruity and synthetic to me personally.And finally, the cranberry dahlia. I really like this one! It’s very sweet and floral smelling, with a hint of tart.These are just MY opinions and everyone has different tastes and preferences! I prefer more natural earthy scents than the febreeze or laundry smells, so if that’s you too then I hope this is helpful!

Strong scent may cause discomfort in the respiratory area
The fragrance makes me uncomfortable. Not the scent itself but I guess it is the materials being used. After inhaling the scent I felt tensions in my chest area, possibly in my respiratory system. If you burn the candle, don’t put it too close to you, and don’t burn three wicks together to avoid excess scent.

First off, I love Chesapeake Bay I especially love all the aromatherapy line of candles. I purchased the medium jars and the tall jars all the time, so I decided to get the freeway. It burns out faster than the smaller jars. I would say just purchase a single Wick candle from them. They smell amazing!

Strong scent and lasts long
Its a good thing I enjoy the scent of this candle b/c it is strong. You don’t even need to burn it for the aroma to fill a room.Over all I am happy with my purchase. The candle has lasted a good while, and the smell is pleasant. The one down side I have to note is that it burns with a decent thick smoke. I was using this candle in a lantern I got from Aldi, and in just a few days the glass has a thick coat of black soot on it. I have used this lantern with many other candles and have not seen it build up this fast.

Awesome Smell…Not Long-lasting
I have a hard time with regular wax making my nose itch and go bananas. This soy candle does not…. it is wonderful to find a product to replace the “traditional” candle with.The scent of this particular candle is AMAZING!!! It remains for as long as you burn it. Consistent and beautiful.The only issue I have with this candle is that it seems to burn rather quickly. If it were a bit less expensive, I wouldn’t mind so much that it burned quick. But I feel like I’m being VERY CONSERVATIVE on the time I burn my candle and I hate to have to be that way.

Smells AMAZING but burns super quickly!
When I got it, I lit it immediately and I have to say that I was blown away how wonderful and strongly it smelled. I have a very open living room and this thing filled the entire area with it’s scent. I was very disappointed how quickly it burned up though… I have a candle less than half the size from bath and bodyworks that has lasted WAY longer! I only burned it a few hours the first and second day and it’s pretty much gone… so I’d say it’s probably not worth the money for that aspect alone when they’re the same price and other brands that smell just as strongly and actually last.

Pros and Cons
I love the scent of this candle and have ordered many times. But due to the fast burn rate I truly cannot afford to order often. The value is not good. It’s a beautiful candle. I love it so much. Scent is excellent. And it is strong. Scent doesn’t dwindle as candle gets low. I would say it’s one of my favorites of all time. And it does burn evenly. But compared to yankee candles it lasts zilch. Recieved Jan 10th and today is the 18th. Only lasted 8 days and I only burn it in evenings after work and even blow out periodically because scent is so good and you don’t have to burn continuously to have house smelling wonderful. I highly recommend this candle if you got the big bucks and can afford it. For me it is just not economical at all. I just wish Chesapeake could do something about burn time.

Amazing scent but short-lived
This had been my absolute favorite scent for many years. Not too sweet, not too spicy. The candle is beautiful and burns well. The downside is that it doesn’t last as long as many other Chesapeake Bay candles and I have to trim the crunchy built-up at the end of the wicks EVERY time before I light it or else it smokes and pops.

Ruined By Low-Quality Wicks
This candle had lots of potential but the manufacturer ruined that potential by choosing very low-quality wicks. The wicks quickly burn down to tiny nubs that barely stay lit so the fragrance released into the room is barely noticeable. The wicks on the other 2 candles that I bought continue to burn very strongly. It’s a real shame because the cost of the wicks is probably a very small percentage of the total cost of the product. They really need to make a “New, Improved” version of this candle!

Favorite Candle to date!
I absolutely love this candle! The scent is so calming, and it’s chemical free since it uses essential oil for its fragrance. I originally got it as a “mold suppressant” candle, given the fact the essential oils in it are mold-killing, but I’ll keep it as a staple candle now. It lasts long, has such a sleek yet elegant look, and makes any room smell fresher.

All time favorite candle
It’s one of my favorite candle – especially for the scent! I usually only light up two of the three wicks because it can be overpowering, but definitely would recommend!

Good for my anxiety!
This candle helps me so much when im overwhelmed! I keep it lit at work to help me with my anxiety! I love it!

Scent is OVERWHELMINGLY strong.
The grapefruit mango scent is too much for my 440 sqft studio. If I burn it for too long, the air is hard to breathe because it’s so heavily perfumed. It smells good, but I don’t want to taste it. The other two I got (Mediterranean citrus and white lily pear) were perfect and light. This one is not. I would only recommend if you have a large open space with circulating air/good ventilation.

Pleasantly surprised
I took a chance with a his brand. Candle burns good. The Water Lily Pear is a lovely scent, very spa like. Scents are strong, which is what I wanted to mask the scent of dog.I also bought the Sea Salt Sage, but not a fan of the scent. This one was more of a masculine scent to me. Reminds me of an after shave.Great candles packaged well.

This candle is amazing!
This scent is amazing!!! I always get compliments on the way my house smells! I’ve given this candle as gifts and they love it! I always buy balance and harmony. Try this scent! You will not be disappointed. It fills the whole house and it smells amazing. It is giftable and lasts a while. I burn mine throughout the entire day and if I know I am having guests. This is by far my favorite candle and smell. I compare this candle to bath and body works candles. Their candle’s smell so good. I might even like this one better than theirs!!!!!
