I love this grater, get it! So far, it can play a role in all cheeses quickly and easily, even soft Mozzarella cheese! I even tried a small carrot and it worked very quickly!

Good grater. Not bad. I wish I bought it sooner. Before I made my walnut torte. Grating a pound of walnuts with a small grater made my arm sore.

amazing!

I had been sitting on this tool in my “save for later” for a while thinking I didn’t need it. IT IS AMAZING. It shreds and slices SO SO nicely and easily. I love that it has a safety plunger to use before you get your fingers too close. Love that the handle is easy to turn. The suction is very strong. I am so glad I bought this.

Quick & easy to use

The grater works exactly as described and is super easy to use. Perfect replacement for my box grater and takes up less space when storing. Grating a block of cheese took maybe 3 minutes, when it used to take so much longer using the box grater. Just be mindful when grating soft cheeses like cheddar because it’ll get stuck in the middle portion, instead of falling out like hard cheeses or veggies. I used a fork to periodically take the cheese out as I was grating and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend! Just wish I’d bought it sooner.

Best cheese grater

This cheese grater is a game changer I love that it sticks to the counter it works really easy you do have to clean out the tumbler every once more it will get stuck with cheese but that’s not a problem. I love this cheese grater

Good product for general use

This grater works well on hard cheeses, many vegetables and some fruits. Its different blades produce different shaped and sized cuts. The two larger blades worked well with apples too. I haven’t yet tried it with nuts. A drawback is that the suction sometimes does not work, so you need to make sure that it is firmly affixed to a surface before starting. The grater is manufactured overseas, which is immediately apparent as the box says “Mulit-funcition Vegetable Grater” in several places.

Shreds FAST!

I have this exact grater. It shreds sooooooo fast. 🙌🏽👏🏽 Only negative review is since it does shred so fast oftentimes cheese 🧀 (specifically) can get stuck in the grater itself which blocks it from flowing out into whatever container you’re using to catch the shreds in. I understand it’s because cheese 🧀 sticks to surfaces easily. Other than that I like it and I hand wash 🧼 🤚🏽 it as suggested since it shouldn’t be placed in water above 60 degrees as directed. Almost a perfect product

I love this! It works so well and very well designed. It’s easy to put together, comes with various attachments that are all useful. Easy to take apart and clean. I just put it all back in the box to store. If I had one complaint it would be that the suction be a little stronger but honestly, I had no issue using this. I even tried it on some hard parmesan that I hate to grate, and it had no issues. Highly recommend this as a useful kitchen tool.

Works great

Shredded cheese with ease. Sliced carrots and celery easily. Easy to put together and take apart to clean. Vacuum base held entire unit steadily. Very sturdy. Easy to clean.

Makes shredding fast!

I bought this, as I hate using my hand-held grater, and as sometimes you don’t want to take out a huge food processor for a small job. I used this for the first time tonight and was thrilled at how easy it was to use and how well it shredded each of the items I needed for my soup. As I needed cheese, I used the larger of the two barrels and for the shredded carrots I used the smaller barrel. Each barrel is easy to switch out, and at the end, I simply washed them by hand, as that is what they recommend. The other thing I love is that the suction works amazingly well! It stayed attached to my cutting board, making each job very easy. It cut my prep time considerably! I haven’t tried the slicer, but I believe it would work as well as the other barrels. Well worth the money!

Best seller for a reason it seems

Used it for the first time this morning to shred up some potatoes for my first ever try at homemade hash browns.Holy guacamole, I made so such! I couldn’t resist. Was so easy, kept throwing in potatoes until the receiving plate could hold no more.Heated up some avocado oil and butter, added in and browned the shredded potatoes, added some salt and fresh pepper… added sunny side up eggs, bacon and toast… ain’t no diner got nothin’ on my new morning fixation of by-my-own hand hash browns. So fresh, crispy and good!Impression of this unit from pre-cleaning, to use, to post-use cleaning – as it should be simple simple design, that feels well made and suited to lasting for quite a while so long it’s not abused.Easy cleaning after potato shredding. Guess is, cleaning after cheeses will be more involved, but the design is so simple am anticipating no big deal.Part of the secret to longevity with items like this, is don’t be foolish. If whatever you put in it is making it so you have to force the handle around with difficulty, then you’re inviting failure.The other smart thing, is to cut up into smaller slices what you stick in the neck to be grated/shredded. Just because the neck is like 2×2 inches (a guess), doesn’t mean you should be shoving in something that’s 1.99l inches by 1.99w inches.. The food your putting in can be tall (height), it’s about length/width.My suggestion is, keep what your shoving into the neck to about no more than half the size of the opening. It’s not about a testing it’s limits, it’s about using it wisely.There’s a bunch of other brands out there for similar price and features. I went with this one because of so many 5 star reviews along with it being a best seller, plus the listing had a 5 dollar coupon making it a no brainer.No more bagged shredded de-caking ingredient laden cheeses for my kitchen. Blocks of 100% cheese only.I’ll update this review after I shred up some block cheese, and a wedge or two of Parmesan/Romano. My prediction just based on instincts and experience regarding product design quality and materials durability is that of having more positive experiences.My sense is I’m going to have to keep myself from grating/shredding up more than I need just because it’s so easy compared to a stand up grater box.Should mention, I first went with a metal hand grater before deciding to spend a few dollars more for something like this. Those metal hand graters are for the birds. Returned mine. The plastic versions are just as bad only they’ll break faster.Having a pasta dinner, used to grating the cheese as needed? Don’t be silly. Get something like this. Grate up some before serving the meal, and have the grated stuff on the table in a small bowl or in a generic fill shaker.Now I need to get rid of the potatoes I have left before they go bad. Am sensing some homemade potato chips will be cooked up and on the counter by tomorrow sometime.Follow-Up: Block cheese is so much better (cheaper too) than bagged pre-shredded, and no sweat for this unit. 3lbs of block cheese in around 5 minutes, including set-up and sink cleaning.Hard cheese like Parmesan? No problem! You could shred up a entire wedge before the water for the pasta even thinks to boil – with zero skin loss due to the now obsolete hand graters.

Love it Love it Love it!

I won’t buy pre-shredded cheese as it is full of additives. But shredding blocks of cheese was a deterrent to using it. Not any more! This little baby is the bomb! I can wack out a brick of cheese in less than a minute, assembly and all. And the Kraft, Cabot and Kroger brand cheeses all fit in the top without cutting, so that’s a super plus, just open and shred!Clean up is not bad…I wipe it down first with a dry paper towel to rub off any cheese residue and then wash by hand, by choice. It cleans up like new. The blade is not sharp in the sense that it nicks or cuts from handling it, but it does the job perfectly. At first I stored the grater in separate parts, but now I keep it assembled as I only use the large grater and cuts my time down to only 30 seconds to grab it and shred the block of cheese! Wowza!i haven’t tried slicing or shredding anything else yet, will try zucchini next year in season and other veggies. We LOVE Zucchini everything and that’s another NOT FUN to shred item. Want to try potatoes, still don’t know how it will handle the stouter vegetables, but will re-post later when I try them.As far as the suction goes, the unit will pop off the counter…it’s a minor inconvenience. If I don’t spin too speedily it stays on better, I think the torque let’s air in, so grind steadily. Also, clean the rubber base that it sets on and clean the counter you set it on as well, for best results. And reapplying it is as simple as twist the handle to unlock, then twist again to lock. Another 2 seconds total!I use mine on a butcher block table, I would imagine granite or countertop would stick better than wood. But I am still VERY happy with this clever little gadget. I can see it lasting a long time, doesn’t seem to have parts that will break readily. Dropping the part that holds the blade might cause a crack, but other than that it’s solid.Oh, and it’s WAY better to me than pulling out the Cuisinart and shredding cheese, I found out long ago, unless I wanted to shred 10 blocks or so, it wasn’t worth the clean up and assembly, and they are harder to clean. Not a fan of the large food processors for that reason. And I like my cheese shredded fresh, and probably two or three times a week. It’s the “other” butter for us!

Absolute life changer!!!!

I used to sit there for 30 minutes or more with a standard cheese grater. Those days are over! I pull this out all the time now and it takes seconds to shred what used to take 30 min. Cleaning is no harder than cleaning your standard cheese grater because it all comes apart super easily. I wish it was half an inch taller because I don’t really have a bowl to put under it so I have to use a plate but that’s not a big deal when your saving 29 minutes.This product is an absolute game changer and you are missing out by not buying it. I have showed this thing off to so many people and they have gone and bought one. I am not sponsored in any way. This product is just a massive time saver.

You want to buy this!!

Absolutely love this. I’m so glad I bought this. This is soo much easier than using the old fashion grader. This has inspired me to buy more block cheese than buying already shredded cheese. Cleaning, is no problem. I hand wash mine and the little brush that comes with it makes it easy to clean the smaller edges of the blades. The suction is very good to keep it from moving on the counter.

JUST BUY IT!

I am someone who cooks pretty frequently and always find myself grating cheese for sauces during the holidays which I hate. This has cut my grating in half! I absolutely love this! You can also use this to slice potatoes and other vegetables m it’s overall just very convenient for prep work in the kitchen and who absolutely recommend this to anyone I know.

Simple grating

This is the first hand grater I have ever used other than the old school simple graters. It cut prep time way down, is super easy to operate (even my 6 year old can easily operate, with supervision of course) and very easy to clean. I am sure the electric ones are easier to operate but cost much more and this one does the trick. You do have to watch soft cheese’s as to not get clogged up but otherwise a breeze. Highly recommend.

Grates Cheese Fast and Fun to Use

Grates really fast and easy. Suction to the countertop is great, does not move at all. Have only grated cheese and carrots so far and couldn’t be happier. Easy to clean with the brush that comes with it. I haven’t put it in the dishwasher yet, but I understand you can. Very easy to use, easy to put together, easy clean up.

Great Little Gadget

I bought this so I could just buy block cheeses to grind at home, rather than paying more money for pre-ground cheese, since we use so much of it. Prices being what they are these days, it’s more cost-effective to buy the blocks and DIY. So far, this little grinder has worked extremely well. And it’s definitely easy to use.

Game changer!

How did I live without you!

Secured tightly to the counter, a breeze to change the grading cylinders. I was happily grading away for thanksgiving dinner. The only thing I am going to try next time is a light coating of cooking spray as after grading a several blocks of cheese it gets backed up in the cylinder. Very happy with this product!

So easy a child can cut the cheese.

Who cuts the cheese? Our 4 year old grandson. He loves to be involved in meal prep and with supervision he shreds the cheese easily. The suction is great. The different blades cuts through cheese perfectly. We’ve also used it on veggies. It breaks apart easily for easy clean up. Everyone who sees it in use wants one. Highly recommend!

It Really Works

Every morning I like either sausage or bacon, hash browns, 1 egg over medium, and German rye toast. The problem was the hashbrowns. I needed something with which I could shred the potatoes myself. All we had was a small handheld grater which was difficult to use, and it kept wanting to shred my fingers too. So, I discovered this product on Amazon, ordered it, it came, and I used it every morning since. It is great. One small potato turns into one good serving of home made fresh hashbrowns. Yes! I’m a happy home camper.

Ease of use

This product is so easy to use, assemble and clean. I bought this for the ease of use for making the BEST Mac n cheese. It was snip and snap put together (after cleaning of course) and then just shredded away. Next time I used this I has my 10yr old use it and she thought it was a blast.

Easy To Clean

I love the ease it grated cheese, breaks down and cleans up in the dishwasher (top shelf), and I like the different choices of graters to choose from. I do not like the way it slices cucumbers, and onions because it makes them so thin and watery. It also leaves half the skin wrapped around the barrel. I can’t keep it attached to my countertop for more than a few turns of the handle.
