I made fabulous rib steaks in about 11 minutes, and the next day, I made Nashville Hot Fried Chicken from a recipe book that came with the grill.I’m thrilled with the results. By far my favorite appliance. I’ve been using this over a month now, I’d have to say it’s great for a family of 2 or 3. I don’t have to worry about my chicken catching on fire on the grill now. Clean up is easy, food cooks great, it does smoke when you open the lid on some foods so it’s not completely smoke free. I would give this 10 stars

Great grill and air crisper. Love this appliance! So far crispy fried chicken, fried shrimp, steak, tater tots, chicken wings, and cleans up so easy…LOVE my Foodi Grill/ Crisper.

Love…but defect. I love my grill! It’s perfect for salmon and just any veggie you can think of. I would give it 5 stars, especially because it’s easy to clean but there is a defect with mine. The rubber edge next to the heating plate is pealing off. And I’ve only used it 4 times. Just hoping that if i keep using it, it won’t get worse.

Bye Bye Propane! I sold my propane grill and bought two of these and they are awesome! I got two for a multiple reasons. One, they are small, so if I want to cook 8 steaks for company, I can use both grills for that (about 4 small steaks or burgers fit on each grill). Two, if I’m just cooking for my family, I can do meat in one and air crisp fries or onion rings in the other at the same time. These are WAY easier to clean than my propane grill was and I like not having to worry about running out of propane in the middle of cooking. I just have to worry about power outages now, so that is a trade off, but I’m ok with it (we don’t lose power very often where I live). I have done steak, chicken, pork chops, a few different types of fries, onion rings and burgers. All came out delicious (the cyclonic heating makes everything cook very evenly every time and meats come out with everyones beloved grill marks too)… I’m getting really good at adjusting the times to get the food just the way I want it. The times in the books are not accurate for all things, so you need to experiment a bit to get it perfect, but once you do, it’s so easy with the timer. I don’t put anything (marinades, rubs etc.) on the meats I cook anymore because they come out so good plain from this grill. I absolutely love it! You can see in the photo, the one I do meat on (left) gets the top screen a little dirtier than the one I have only air crisped on though. I have them both on a cart and cook outside. I don’t recommend buying this thinking you’re going to cook inside. I did try that twice (once with meat and once with fries) just to see how it worked, and both times there wasn’t a lot of smoke or anything, but the house smelled like what I cooked for a whole day and that I didn’t like… so cook outside with these is my recommendation. I solved the size issue (as well as the issue of wanting to grill and air crisp at the same time) by getting two which makes the price a bit high, but for me it was worth every penny.

Bye Bye Propane! I sold my propane grill and bought two of these and they are awesome! I got two for a multiple reasons. One, they are small, so if I want to cook 8 steaks for company, I can use both grills for that (about 4 small steaks or burgers fit on each grill). Two, if I’m just cooking for my family, I can do meat in one and air crisp fries or onion rings in the other at the same time. These are WAY easier to clean than my propane grill was and I like not having to worry about running out of propane in the middle of cooking. I just have to worry about power outages now, so that is a trade off, but I’m ok with it (we don’t lose power very often where I live). I have done steak, chicken, pork chops, a few different types of fries, onion rings and burgers. All came out delicious (the cyclonic heating makes everything cook very evenly every time and meats come out with everyones beloved grill marks too)… I’m getting really good at adjusting the times to get the food just the way I want it. The times in the books are not accurate for all things, so you need to experiment a bit to get it perfect, but once you do, it’s so easy with the timer. I don’t put anything (marinades, rubs etc.) on the meats I cook anymore because they come out so good plain from this grill. I absolutely love it! You can see in the photo, the one I do meat on (left) gets the top screen a little dirtier than the one I have only air crisped on though. I have them both on a cart and cook outside. I don’t recommend buying this thinking you’re going to cook inside. I did try that twice (once with meat and once with fries) just to see how it worked, and both times there wasn’t a lot of smoke or anything, but the house smelled like what I cooked for a whole day and that I didn’t like… so cook outside with these is my recommendation. Since that was my original plan, I am very happy with these grills. I can see people who bought these to cook inside complaining about the fact that it stinks up the house a bit, so keep that in mind if that is your intention…. I think they cook a lot better (and easier) than my propane grill (charbroil infrared) did though, so consider that as well. Size being too small and smelling up the house would be the only two negatives I can think of. Love my ninja foodie xl! I love my ninja foodie xl. I love to cook and bake. We are a family of 8. I am able to make healthy meals in half the time. The air fryer and grill feature are my two favorites so far.

Ninja Kitchen. Ninja – compact. This is a good Air fryer plus an indoor Grill. The Air Fryer function works great, haven’t used the grilling function yet. Only 1 miner suggestion for the engineers, clearance is too low for whole chickens, ducks, and turkeys.

If you follow instructions as well as have some food cooking experience and do what’s recommended which is check on your food during cooking process it turns out perfectly! After reading several reviews and seeing the negatives regarding dried out food. It definitely prompted me to thoroughly read instructions which say check your food frequently. Which common sense being this method of cooking is meant for cooking much faster than your usual kitchen accessories!

This Foodie Grill is the NINJA of all appliances. Purchased this Ninja Foodie XL Grill for 2 of our kids for Christmas. I have heard many things great about it but after watching it is use it the first time we purchased 1 for ourselves. It’s great!! Our marinated steak filets came out so juicy. PAY ATTENTION to the thickness of your steaks especially if you want Med Rare. If it states times for thickness I haven’t read it anywhere but times on the grill are a little off. But don’t let that deter you from buying. The Air fryer part is AMAZING & crisps your good up perfectly. I haven’t tried the other features yet. This is PERFECT for the grill master during horrible weather or showtime without an outdoor grill. I would highly recommend this item!!

Best purchase ever. Everything about this is amazing and simple to use. Join a few Facebook Ninja Foodi grill groups and get to cooking immediately. Burgers, steaks, chicken legs, desserts, tater tots… You name it, I’ve done it! And if I can do it…. Anyone can. And with it 90 degrees outside on average, being able to grill or bake without heating the house has been fantastic.

This one is plain and simple. The first thing I tried was to cook onion rings. When I cook them in the oven or my other Air Fryer, they end up hard as a rock. When I put them into this air fryer, I just hit the preprogrammed button and hit start. The onion rings came out perfect. They weren’t too hard nor too soft. They came out a perfect golden brown and tasted delicious. I really like the idea of 2 cookers that you can use to cook more than one type of foods. It’s simple to use them together. Just a hit of a button and you’re good to go. I was able to put a full pound of onion rings on one side and french-fries on the other. They both finished at almost the same time and tasted delicious. We were able to eat hot onion rings and french-fries together instead of one sitting and getting cold while waiting for the other’s to finish cooking. It also comes with a cookbook for some of the popular foods. I’m not good with cooking appliance’s because my wife does most of the cooking and if I can use this air fryer, anyone can use it. Repackaged it after putting outside to cool down. Shipped it back.

Inside scratches easily/ poor service from Walmart. I bought this a few days ago. When I took it out to use it, it appeared used. There were scratches and marks all on the insides and baskets. The inside cook part appears to scrape and scratch easily. This means it will not be good soon (with regular use).

Calling Walmart is like pulling teeth now. It’s like talking to robots. They’re not listening and sound as if they don’t care. Even the supervisors are robots now. Don’t waste your time.

I was so dissapointed! I had been wanting an all in one for a while and reviewed the top 2 I love the Ninja products, however with this product I steamed plain white rice to test it out and I gagged at the aweful taste of metal on the rice I rewashed the machine and steamed more rice whole family felt sick just by tasting the rice I was really hoping they would tell me it was my imagination . When I googled the problem in an effort to find a solution I found that there is actually alot of defective ones out there where people have or had the same problem with. So sad. I was really looking forward to owning one. I hope this issue is resolved in the near future.

Perfect first time air fryer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] -1 star for pause button. My other air fryer, when the basket it pulled out it automatically stops. With this ninja air fryer the pause button needs to be pressed in order for the air fryer to stop.
There are only 3 options, air fry, reheat and dehydrate. It’s on the smaller side, perfect for single to small family. It air fries extremely well, maybe because of the smaller size compared to my other air fryer which is bigger. Easy to clean due to its compact size and super sleek! I would recommend this air fryer as a first time purchase.

Good quality good price good brand. Most of the time I purchased Ninja products for my kitchen and I’m always satisfied . If I have to recommend Ninja pressure cooker ****/**** I will recommend it to everyone .This product is the guaranteed solution

Performance. This is my 2nd one! My other one lasted for 5 years before it had a shortage in it and couldn’t be replaced! So rather than going with another brand or model i just reordered my Ninja Foodie!! I love it and my kids love it too! Its really easy for them to use
