Scent-Sational! ;~)
Quick synopsis: beautiful, fresh scents and long-lasting, even burning.In-depth review:Purchased one of these bad babies (“Arise + Invigorate” Lemongrass Eucalyptus) alongside the “Refresh + Rejuvenate” Mediterranean Citrus scent, both in the 3-wick coffee table jar size — I will definitely be back to buy and try more!It’s been a while since I’ve purchased even a singular candle, I presume I was feeling particularly compelled for some reason when purchasing these and quite frankly I’m glad I did.I immediately unboxed them and lit one, the “Awaken and Invigorate” scent, igniting all three of the candle’s wicks at once. Currently I work from home, so throughout the day I watched as the wax gradually melted into a liquid. Before I went to sleep, I put out the flames and the (now-melted) wax began to solidify again.Aroma: both candles that I picked are so fresh and so strong—yet they aren’t overwhelming, nor do they have any sort of chemical scent. My partner and I are “recreational” smokers, and even one of these candles has turned one of our *slightly* smokey rooms into a much fresher space. Although we don’t hotbox the room :~(, there is always lingering smoke. Are there other, options for this specific circumstance, sure, however, these certainly have helped significantly in a matter of minutes in masking/clearing out the leftover scent of hErB… ;~)Burning: the wicks seemed to burn evenly and by the end of the day when I put out the flames, the wax settled in a flat, even manner. Even after that entire day-long usage, the candle still had a significant amount of “burnage” left. To put it more clearly, these babies are super long-lasting and indeed burn slowly.Other notes: the design of the 3-wick coffee table jars is so refined and they complement (I’d imagine) most arrangements. The jar has a “frosted” finish that lends to the sleek shape of the glass itself that I much prefer to candles that are more bulky or chunky in design. Not only are these durable and quality but they are totally aesthetically pleasing as well.Conclusion:I’ve still only lit the “Awaken + Invigorate” candle, but I couldn’t be more excited to light the “Refresh + Rejuvenate” candle (that I’ve had to forcibly keep my nose out of, haha). Even having only used one so far, I’m still sold; this purchase was exactly what I wanted and hoped for.I’d recommend trying these candles to anyone interested in filling their space with a fresh scent, as they last long and have not only have a sleek but efficient design—these are all around just great.

I burn candles often and the other day I realized the only ones I had in stock were more fall-ish scents and I am not quite ready for pumpkin yet. I found these and have been very happy. I think the jar and lid look great and the smell has been subtle but pleasant. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wish they burned all the way out to the edge. It seems as though there is going to be a good amount of wax left once the wick has run out. Otherwise, very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful glow when burning, but does not smell but does not smell like orange essential oil
Candle arrived very well-packaged – could have withstood quite a beating and still would have arrived without a scratch or crack. The top of the candle wick was in-line with the top of the wax, so I had to do some digging out of the wax around the wick and relight a few times before the candle would stay lit. To me it does not have an “orange” scent, rather something floral. Enjoy the appearance of the decorated/glass holder of candle. When burning it is very lovely to watch. Have had great luck with Chesapeake Bay Candles in the past, so next time would try a different scent.

One of the wicks pulled out
I will say the packaging was great, the jar well-protected. In fact, the condition was nearly perfect. However, this was meant to go in a gift basket for a raffle, and it apparently came with one of the wicks missing. My fiancé pulled the candle out to check the bottom, and we learned that the wicks had been glued to the bottom of the jar, but the one still in the candle had pulled free from where it was glued. The one still glued had pulled out of the candle… So we now have a two-wick candle with only one wick. We’ve decided to keep it and order a new one for the basket. If my second experience is better, I will update my review.

Smells amazing. Wicks don’t always burn correctly
They smell amazing whenever I can get one that has a wick set up properly. The string to burn isn’t always set in the middle which melts the wax unevenly making you use less of the candle. Also had on where the wick wasn’t even long enough to reach the bottom so didn’t have a way to even burn the bottom half of my candle. But I buy them because they smell amazing and I’m disabled so I can’t go to the store and pick out the candle myself. Never gift them because they don’t ever burn right.

Well, it looks pretty.
I love burning candles at home, especially when the weather is colder. I buy candles from many different places and they don’t necessarily have to be an expensive brand. I constantly saw this brand as “Amazon recommended”, I saw all the good reviews and decided to buy the Refresh + Rejuvenate.It came thoughtfully packaged, really nice presentation with the wooden lid and vibrantly colored jar. I really liked the smell of the candle cold, but I thought it was a bit subtle.I cut the wicks evenly and lit them. I was surprised there was little to no smell. An hour later and I still couldn’t smell it without sticking my nose right above it. I usually have a very perceptive nose, but with this virus affecting people’s sense of smell I thought I’d ask my family. We all agreed, the scent is very light, it definitely doesn’t fill a medium sized room, much less my living room. At $15 for a three wick candle it doesn’t break the bank, but I have paid half of that for more fragrant candles.This is the third time I light the candle, I’m sitting right in front of it and all I can smell is the mandarin I had 20 minutes ago.

I love that these candles have a vibe to them. I received the Awaken and Rejuvenate candle, which is lemongrass eucalyptus scent. It wasn’t overpowering, it was the right amount to keep the scent long lasting. The product itself looks beautiful as well. I will keep this company in mind when I want to gift a candle to someone. I can’t wait to try the other ones!

The best candles for me
I am so often disappointed with my candle purchases. These are the best ones I’ve bought in probably 10 years. Seems like I always get ripped off, BUT these really impressed me. I will keep buying these bc I’m so happy with the strength of the scent, not too strong that you choke but it definitely keeps an even scent until the end of burning.

Nice candle but lacks fragrance punch
Purchased this candle as the scent was noted as similar to Capri Blue however does not pack the same punch in that it really doesn’t smell very strong. I like to be able to light one candle and the smell is present throughout the house. Not the case with this one. It does have a clean citrus smell similar to Capri blue or Sun Washed Citrus at B&B but was disappointing in it’s potency.

Uplift Orange Peel Cedarwood candle
I’ve been using this candle regularly for about a week and a half now. It burns very evenly and since it is a soy candle it is a clean burn. I love candles with a clean and fresh scent and this candle has both of these qualities. My only complaint is that is such a subtle scent that you have to be close to the candle to smell it. It does not permeate the room like some other scents do. The container the candle is housed is a nice porcelain type material that allows the candle light to show throw through.

These candles are true to their estimate burn life of 70 hours, perhaps even longer. They are low soot if you trim the wick and give a pleasant luminescence. The scented aspect of these candles can be debated. While they are indeed scented, the scent fades significantly during their ~70 hour life. This is likely the nature or soy candles and the trade-off for the lasting burn time of the candle. I will likely repurchase bit may not use exclusively for scented candles

Wish it was stronger scent
Love the packing and the way the candle is made. The scent is good and I’ve bought it a couple times but I’m having issues with it actually dispersing the scent across the room. Not sure if it’s because it’s a narrow candle but I haven’t had the same issue with other candles.

Love these candles for a beautiful light scent.
Chesapeake Bay candles are some of my very favorite. The jar is nice and heavy and the wooden top is very on trend right now. I’ve bought a variety from this company over the years and will say that I like the smells of their Mind and Body collection the best; however, they are not very strong. This would be a perfect candle for a small room or if you are looking for a lighter scent. All around great product though, very well done scents and beautiful packaging.

Good Gift ; First delivery lacked wick; Replaced quickly w/o return
This is a gift that I gave to someone dear at Christmas; she had to come back from overseas due to Covid-19 pandemic in order to complete grad semester. I purchased this candle because she said she likes it, and I wanted her to have something that reminds her of the former normalcy of our lives. My recent candle arrived without a wick but was quickly replaced without need of returning the wickless candle. I am grateful for that. Two thumbs up!

Illuminating Colored Glass is Beautiful But Scent Needs Work
I ordered the balance candle. It was nice to open the box and see the seller took such care with packaging to ensure no damage could occur during shipping (see attached photo). The seller not only wrapped in bubble wrap, but also used plastic wrap around to secure it and paper to keep the product secure in the box. I love the color of the glass, but the label sticker was not straight, so minor quality control issue; not a big deal. When lit, the colored striped glass gives a beautiful visual (see attached photo lit). The one thing I think is misleading is that underneath the scent name “Balance” (side note, does not help you identify the scent) it says “orange”. That would lead me to believe that orange is a primary fragrance of the candle. When you look at the description, though, orange zest is listed as the fifth or sixth fragrance note; I would assume the notes are listed in order of strength. When I opened the candle, I definitely didn’t get any hint of orange. I would try other scents, but would not buy this particular scent again. My husband said it smells like Glade meaning it smells more manufactured instead of more natural.

Best Candles!
We’ve become huge fan of Chesapeake Bay candles and the Uplift scent we just ordered is no different. We’ve tried a lot of the other scents and they are always strong enough to fill a room, but overpowering. I love citrus and sandalwood, so when I came across this, I snatched it up. Love the mid-century packaging. I keep this one out on an end table because it just looks cool!

These are very nice!
The candles are soft smelling and elegant. I had a delivery problem over the holidays that was not the fault of the seller (it was the post office) but the holiday backlog caused it to miss Christmas delivery. The seller stepped up and offered me two free candles even though they were not responsible for the delay.

Request double wrap if ordering two or more.
Item arrived broken and box was not damaged. Think you should rethink wrapping – ordered two – was not enough bubble wrap or box was too big for two candles.

I bought this candle since I don’t like to use artificial fragrance in my house. I’m very excited to have found candles made with essential oils. However I’m not a fan of the fragrance of the particular candle I chose. I’d like to try the other fragrances in this line and hopefully will have a better experience.

Chesapeake Bay Wonderful Scented Candles!
I love these candles they burn clean and without black soot. Soy based is the best. They have a long scent spread. Great essential oils used. Thank you Chesapeake Bay you did not disappoint me. Will buy more this is my Second order!
