Good oven mitt
The only thing I hate about this mitt is the annoying super large graphic which isn’t so subtly displayed… Makes us definitely keep it in a drawer instead of hanging on a hook. If the logo was removed, it’s a good-looking pattern and a well-made oven mitt. I am happy with how well they insulate and have a good grip.

Nice oven mitt but I don’t like the huge loud non-removable logo on each mitt
The mitt itself is nice and fits my long-fingered hand fine. It is much better at gripping than regular mitts and it is much more flexible and comfortable than the solid silicone type. My only complaint is the huge logo on each mitt – I really don’t like it and it is non-removable. It does show on the product photos but I assumed it was just a sticker. Also the logo is louder in person. I may have to find a new home for these even though they are very functional.

No more burnt hands !
My husband likes to do the cooking and had complained about crappy pot holders burning his hands so I ordered the pot holders in this brand and found them to be awesome, thick and good quality. I ordered these to go with the smaller ones and am very happy I did these are super thick but functional and will protect you hands in extreme hot oven temps. These are nice and large and won’t burn your wrists nice full coverage. I ordered the brown and it’s a dark rich color just love them. Great price for the quality of these oven mitts.

Thick, textured and attractive
Great oven mitts. Thick, textured for an easy grip and attractive. My old mitts were worn out and these are an excellent replacement. They are big enough for any hands but not so large that you cant easily grasp hot trays. Attractive set that you don’t mind having out in your kitchen and easy to wash.

Flexible, comfortable

These are great. I did a short video showing how flexible they are. Usually oven gloves are so stiff, bulky and slippery and it’s difficult to grip things and maneuver. I tried silicone gloves too and unless you’re a speed demon in getting things out of the oven, you start feeling the heat fast! So 5 stars for these. They are too large for me but are narrow enough that they stay on at least, and they reach higher on my arm than other gloves I’ve tried and cover the area where I usually get burned in my very low profile oven. It would be great if they made them in two sizes. Lastly, they are attractive as well, very homey and warm looking.

These are so pretty!!
I love how they managed to find a way to make the silicone on these oven mitts part of what makes them so pretty! Instead of just trying to make pretty oven mitts, then adding silicone bits to it to help with heat resistance, they designed it so the silicone itself is part of what makes them look so nice! These are probably the prettiest oven mitts I’ve ever seen or owned. Love them!

Sure wish they would make oven mitts that fit women better! I have medium size hands (wear a size 7 leather dress glove) and think these are too big. Somewhere in either the description or reviews, I read that they measured less across the palm than most other oven mitts — but not the case. These should fit most men’s hands, but I say too clumsy for most women’s hands. Because I spent so much time shopping and reading online descriptions of oven gloves, and still not happy with the fit, I’m knocking this review down to only 3 stars.

Pretty and useful
These are very pretty and truly heat resistant pot holders. The grip is secure and the material is very nice quality, especially the inside which is very soft. They serve their purpose well, but are marred by the gigantic logo on their front. It cheapens what would be an otherwise beautiful design.

Comfortable with a good grip

Great oven mitts, thick & comfy but not stiff, good grip but obnoxiously large logo…
These are excellent oven mitts. I have a lot of oven mitts and pot holders in various styles as they are used pretty much on a daily basis around our house — someone is always popping something in the oven and I try to keep two or three pairs easily accessible as one or two gloves always seem to get misplaced. This way, I don’t have to be hunting around for a pair ten seconds before the food is burned to a crisp and I have to grab any towel or whatever else might be in reach (with predictable results). These are the perfect size; they large enough for my husband to use but not so large that they feel floppy or cumbersome for those with smaller hands. I ordered the chocolate brown version which is a rich, dark color that is lovely as well as practical. The all-over foliage pattern in silicone looks pretty and provides an excellent grip. The cotton layer is very thick but not stiff or rigid as some all silicone mitts can be. I find thick silicone mitts to be very protective (I don’t trust the thin ones) but I feel very clumsy using them and I am never sure if I really have a firm grasp on the baking dish or casserole. These are not only comfortable, they are flexible enough that I feel confident that I have a good hold and they are long enough to protect my forearms when I reach for something toward the back of the oven, or on a lower shelf. They definitely stand up to high oven temperatures. I have used them at temperatures up to 450 degrees F with no problem. The only thing I don’t particularly like about these well-made, high quality oven mitts is the very prominent gold logo (like boxing’s golden gloves? only for baking?) that I think cheapens the look. I wouldn’t mind a small unobtrusive logo, and the gold gloves would probably be very cute if they were smaller and embroidered near the hanging loop or something but this large, wordy logo is just ugly and annoying. I deliberately hang the mitts so the logo can’t be seen. The logo is the reason I gave this otherwise 5-star product only four stars. The current price of $24.99 (down from the regular price of $29.99) is quite reasonable given the quality of the materials and workmanship.

Bling-y, but good mittens
Cook’n’Chic Oven mitts do indeed work well, but the bling is a bit much. 4 stars.I’ve used this to replace older oven mitts and it’s a noticeable difference pulling things out of the oven at 450F; I’m far more comfortable with these. The grip is nice too, and most importantly as someone with large hands they fit well.As illustrated by other pictures, the ‘chic’ bling of the massive logo, though, is a bit much. About the only positive that can be said for it is that you know which hand which mitten goes on. 4 stars.

These were expensive but I couldn’t find any oven mitts that were nearly as thick as the old ones I’ve had for years, and didn’t feel like experimenting to find some. I am very satisfied with these and they look great, much nicer than the old ones. Not like I buy them often and these should last for quite a while.

I got these oven mitts because I frequently make sourdough bread that is baked at 450 degrees. I have to move very quickly to keep my fingers from being burnt when working with the dutch oven!! I certainly wouldn’t trust them at 500 degrees!!

Great quality
These oven mitts are very comfortable to wear, with the cotton interior, and are very well padded. My hands are a bit smaller than “medium,” but the mitts don’t feel too big. They are not too stiff, either. I don’t feel at all the heat of the oven or of the hot pots and dishes taken out of the oven. Very good gripping due to the silicone motifs on the outer material. Before selecting/purchasing the mitts, I read a lot of the reviews, here, by people less than happy about the brand’s very large, embroidered logo on the mitts. It wasn’t a big issue for me, but I thought I ordered the mitts in gray (because, on the photos included in the Amazon entry, the logo on the gray mitts looked less obvious), and what arrived was the dark “Choco/Gold” version. Ultimately, I really don’t care enough to want to return the mitts and get the gray ones, because everything else about them is great. So far, they’re top quality in terms of overall design, practicality, and safety.

These gloves are soft and look very beautiful. They don’t smell at all and are very comfortable to wear.I love that they are made of cotton and that the silicone used is a natural product too. Personally, I like the company logo embroidered on each mitt. Its thread is of high quality and makes their style unique and truly chic.Stylish flowers on the fabric act as a silicone coating. I find this a very cool feature because the silicone is only on the surface, which means the glove basically feels like a cotton glove while still providing a secure and non-slip grip.The heat protection properties also proved to be excellent after repeated use. I DIDN’T FEEL THE HEAT!!
I am 56 years old, I cook ALOT!!! These mitts are slip proof, heat proof, and they fit like the old oven mitts that I grew up with. I took them with me to a concessions fund raiser where we had to bake pizzas and heavy pans of pulled pork and mac and cheese. The commercial oven mitts were burning our hands right through the mitts. But…….. these oven mitts were far superior!!!!!

Finally some good mitts
I cook at least 6 nights a week and have been using the ‘fancy’ mitts from big box stores. You know the ones. The ones that have ‘cute’ things on them for the season that my wife has purchased over the years. I burn myself once every few weeks… These are night and day. They fit well (I’m 6’5″ and have big hands) and are sturdy. The mitts do NOT have a big logo on them (thank goodness)!!! 3 weeks in and love them so far!

Adequate protection
Oven mitts provide adequate protection. Can still feel the heat when removing hot trays from the oven but takes a few seconds and no burns. Haven’t noticed anything special that would single out these mitts compared with others, and these mitts cost quite a bit more. Would prefer not having such a huge advertising logo on the mitt, but at least I know which side is which. My old mitt looked like a puppet and had a solid silicone grip sewn into the “mouth” area. Lasted for years but the silicone piece recently started coming detached so got this set. I think the solid silicone piece on my old mitt did a better job in protecting against heat.

Very nice! Attractive!
I had a really hard time finding oven mitts I liked. I don’t like the kind that are all (or too much) silicone. I did want some silicone. I loved the style of these mitts, grey with orange trim, and the design really incorporated the amount of silicone I was looking for. My only concern was the large logo I saw on some of the advertised mitts. I ordered these to look at in person – and was so happy and surprised to see no advertising logo on the mitts! They work and fit great! So glad I found these!

These work well for removing hot food from the oven but are too stiff for using to remove food from the overhead microwave.
