Definite parental guidance, PATIENCE is the key. Not bad definitely teaches patience and parents be sure you are watching the littles at all times, because your marshmallow can catch fire quick when the littles get bored and decide to see what happens if they touch the heating grate. Definitely worth the money though.

My kiddo’s love this.
I bought this for my kids because it was something my mother always did with my kids when I was at work she’d roast marshmallows and and make smores and they’d have a movie night. My mom passed away from COVID 2 years ago and I wanted to keep this little tradition going and I surprised my kids and ordered this I thought it was cute and wasn’t as messy as we normally made smores. It came on time and my kids thought it was so cool they loved it.

Definitely not your typical item for entertainment
I bought mine a year ago, and have used it when entertaining guests multiple times. It may be slower than an open flame, but it is much safer than flames or over a burner on the stove. While laughing and joking about where the best position is for roasting, we were able to continue the eternal debate about what the RIGHT amount of roasting is. I would have appreciated more that two roasting sticks, but we picked up a pack of wooden skewers and do fine. Definitely fun for all ages, provided that they appreciate smores.

Indoor s’mores!!
I don’t have a fireplace and live in an apartment so can’t have a fireplace, so I never got to make s’mores, which I adore! Enter this little guy. It takes awhile, especially for someone who likes to set the marshmallow on fire and blow it out. You can’t do that with this, so you won’t get charred marshmallows. The trays are nice, and it’s overall a good product.

Neat little product!
Finally got around to using this tonight. The kiddos were bugging me because I had promised them s’mores at home as a bribe so they wouldn’t fight me from leaving their cousins’ the other night.Tonight they came to collect.Putting it together was pretty simple, and it got hot pretty quickly- which was good, since I had S’more goblins begging for sugar. And since there wasn’t a flame (still had to be careful that they didn’t touch the burn plate, though), I didn’t have to do much except for impose a Mom Tax of 2 marshmallows when they were done roasting. I would’ve taken a video but it’s nothing exciting. It’s not like with a campfire- it takes a bit to get the marshmallow done enough to use for a s’more. However, the plus side is that -unless you hold it to close to the burn plate- it gets to a nice golden brown -not burned or on fire- and gets melty all the way through. Perfect for s’more makin’. I’m now looking forward to breaking this out at family get togethers- I’ll be the coolest aunt EVER.Honestly, the only downside I can see is that it’s so easy that my boys are going to want them nightly. Which means that I’M going to eat them nightly.It’s rough being a mom, but you do what you’ve gotta do.

Fun novelty gift
This always makes the family happy when we bring it out for s’mores night. It really does cook a marshmallow evenly. The only problem is that it takes a long time and only cooks one at a time. Sometimes kids get impatient waiting their turn and you have to supervise them carefully because if their marshmallow touches the grill, it melts and starts to smoke. If you have patience and want to have a fun indoor s’more activity, it’s great. If you have no patience and rowdy kids, maybe not so much. Also, the sticks that come with it are waaay too short. We are using our own.

Such a great alternative for those of us who don’t want to or can’t have an open flame indoors. The coil does not take long to heat up, and the trays are really nice to hold the smore’s supplies. The skews are short, and I recommend buying additional ones that are longer. Overall, a great product.

Not what I expected
It takes foreverrrrr to heat up. When it finally does, the marshmallows dont “toast” they just melt and get all over the top of the warmer. We used the stove top instead.

I was skeptical about the quality considering the price, but it was quite efficient at roasting marshmallows. My 7 and 4 year old grandsons loved setting up the smores components in the trays and the marshmallows roasted perfectly, quite easy and safe for them. Easy clean up.

Received both orders of this product. They just arrived separate from each other, as opposed to being in one box. It works well. Your just not going to get that charred marshmellow you would from using real fire. Because it can’t stay on the utensil as long, as it softens.

I bought this as a gift for my son. The concept is very cute. It does take a little time and patience to get the perfect char on the marshmallow. The taste once cooked was delicious. My kids enjoy using this. It’s easy to use even without the platter. My kids love to make s’mores and it is so easy to set up, get heated up, and actually use. The clean is not too bad, but you definitely shouldn’t let the marshmallow or chocolate touch the burner. It is pretty compact and easy to travel with.

Super fun and gets the job done.
These are novel and cute for my kids. They love making smores but it’s not like we have a fire going all the time for them to use! Microwavimg smores is not fun for them. This a great solution. Keep in mind that these do not produce a flame and it takes time to get the “smores effect”. It’s an electrical device and it’s intended NOT to be a fire hazard, so be patient! Otherwise, it’s a fun purchase to entertain kiddos and the price point is fair for what it offers.

BUYER BEWARE – WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE HAND!
This product and website preys on your nostalgia & an open campfire feeling. This IS NOT THAT! All I can say is it works kinda, but very slowly, & if theirs multiple users – good luck with that! It’s just a 110 volt electric coil of very slow radiant heat & not enough it. Any type of stove top or a heat gun will work much better than this. Really disappointed in this. My wife loves smores so I bought it for her birthday 8 maths earlier and never opened it till then – even bought the higher end model. The surprise was on me when I gave it to her on her birthday and tried it out. Total flop with all my family there. If you’re one, maybe two people it might suffice, but as I said earlier, kind of a joke & now it’s too late to return. Oh well lesson learned but buyer beware!

I would shop around if you are not in a hurry to purchase. I saw the same item elsewhere for cheaper. Machine works ok but it does take quite a while to both warm up and melt marshmallows. Definitely doesn’t beat the real thing outside. If you have littles, be careful so they dont get burned.

Great wedding gift
