I have a dark corner in my otherwise easy to navigate kitchen and always have to turn the lights on even if it’s just throwing something in the trash. This multi plug outlet with surge protector is just what I needed to enter my kitchen without turning the overhead lights on.Installation was super easy and everything fit exactly as advertised. As the seller stated: it has to be a double outlet!! Securing the outlet into the wall with the enclosed screw insures the outlet can not be accidentally pulled out of the wall.The illumination is dimmable by tapping the top: 3 settings & completely off. I left it on the lowest light setting and it’s perfect for me. Having a choice to adjust the light makes this outlet perfect for many areas where some light can make a big difference and even protect from falls and other mishaps. In a dark room the light stays on but will turn off once there’s light. Excellent safety at minimal cost!!The combination of plug & charger makes it simple to complete everyday tasks while the surge protector insures electronics, equipment will not be damaged. Also the outlets are well spaced apart so I can use bulkier plugs without loosing outlets!A friend of mine is vision impaired and after seeing outlet he’ll buy some for himself.I highly recommend this manufacturer who has the safety of their customers in mind at a reasonable price.

From the quality construction to the ease of install – this handy dandy outlet expander is probably one of the best ones on the market. On top of everything else, the built-in night-light was an added bonus. For us, the night light was not grotesquely bright, with a gentle hue that was perfect for form and function. Definitely happy I bought two to start, and will definitely buy more!

So, I bought one, then bought 2 more bc it worked so well and I loved it. As i was setting up the first one however, i realized that all of the outlets on the item are basically going into ONE single plug… This is not so great! So in the end, I’m making the outlet look nice and its very handy – BUT I’ll realize that I have to watch that I’m not plugging too many things in bc basically its really only using one outlet! A better idea would be to use the same basic idea for it but to have it going into the 2 outlets on the back instead of just One. I will be researching outlets and trying to determine how many plug-in things are just too much for one outlet…

The media could not be loaded. I did not expect very much when the price was only $9.99. But boy was I surprised! These are really high quality, and very useful and convenient! I love that it has the USB ports since many items come with just the cord and not the block. The night light is ingenious! It’s touch on/off, it’s almost the best feature for me! I use the side outlets for items that stay plugged in, and the front two sockets for things I only need to plug in when I use it. It fits in the existing wall outlet perfectly, and comes with a screw to secure it to the wall socket. I didn’t use the screw and it stays plugged in securely without it. I have purchased several more since My first buy!

This is great for the one plug in my bathroom because it acts as a nighlight but also has plugs for hairdryer, electric toothbrush, electric razor, and phone charger. Very handy little gadget!

Compact and good looking multi-socket with a three level night light. The type-C PD port does a fine job of rapid-charging compatible devices. All three USB ports can be used simultaneously.I’d buy it again without hesitation.

The area in the kitchen where the photo was taken has 2 outlets on the wall a few feet apart so I came back to order another in case I decide to keep it there, for uniformity’s sake. I already have a long motion sensing LED light that attaches via a magnetic strip under the cupboard but it recharges via USB-C. I forgot to purchase the USB-C front module for my PC case so to charge it I used to have to unplug my USB-C audio interface & leave my PC running. Not anymore. My complaints are: 1. It’s not RGB! How am I supposed to live without RGB? 2. It doesn’t have a 6500K (daylight) option. It’s more yellow than it appears in the photo which is also a good thing. I wasn’t going to set up a real camera & tripod for this. 3. It doesn’t state what materials are used internally. I’m guessing it’s not gold-plated beryllium copper which is fine if you’re doing a lot of unplugging.I like: 1. The calming yellowish color. 2. The firm grip. Firm but not too firm. 3. The ease of installation. 4. If I’m watching TV in the living room & I see a bit of emitting light in the TV I can turn the light off.When I push a 3 prong plug into the left side the whole unit shifts a tiny bit to the right. A 1/16″ nudge. That’s either because the main outlet I have there is a cheap outlet or the main outlet isn’t screwed in tight… or both. I’ll have to check on that but if you like products like these & want to make sure they have a good tight solid connection pick up some inexpensive Pangea Audio Premier AC Outlets. I don’t work for the manufacturer nor am I being compensated for mentioning them. I just like their outlets. They are sold on Amazon as well at the time of this review.

I purchased the Lvetek extender from Amazon. It worked well for my needs, but I didn’t like the inner light on the extender. It stays on constantly. I switched to the POWRUI because it has an auto-night light. My only issue with both the POWRUI and the Lvetek brands using these outlet extenders is that they aren’t exactly white. As you can see from the photo display, my Anker Nano USB-C is white, but the POWRUI and the Lvetek look reddish in color. I know this is a very minor issue, but exposed to a white wall, it does show that the manufacturer can’t make it white like they should.
