Still love it, but… I bought the 2×6 runner and 7×10 area rug. It took me a long time to find the right look, so I’m keeping it, but… it’s not really black, not like the picture. It’s more like a streaky dark gray. It doesn’t look bad, especially if you didn’t see the picture first, but the colors are a little less bright than the picture and the background isn’t a deep black. The pictures are the runner, and the runner compared to the area rug, to show the color and difference in pattern size between them. These were taken in the dark, with flash.

Terrific! I love this area rug! We have it inside the front door area and it is great! The colors are so pretty and it does not show every little spec of dirt and dust like other area rugs I have had in the past. It looks exactly as pictured!

Defect on one of the ends leaving the rug mishapen. Sadly its shapen incorrectly at the end and the plush is different on one side, seems like quality wasnt not checked making the rug, because of the defect it wont lay correctly creating the end to bulk up in a few spots, maybe its just a bad one or someone just didnt check the quality or dont care to send out a defective item, this could of been a beautiful rug.

I ordered 4 of these in different sizes for my kitchen. As I just received them, I can’t really say how they will hold up over time but right now…I Love…Love…Love these rugs! Love that they come rolled up so that they lay flat immediately. Even though thin rugs I love how soft they are under your bare feet. They also don’t seem to slide on my laminate floor…love that and most of all….I love, love, love how they look. Best rug purchase hands down over the years. When they need to be replaced, I will definitely go back to the mfg that is based in the USA. Love everything about these!!

Love this area rugs, the runner for my laundry area and a smaller one in front of our refrigerator in color “multi”. Ceramic tile underneath fridge, so it is there to cusion anything that might drop. Soft, non slip, nice colors and design. Contemplating 2 more sizes so all of my open areas match.

I LOVE this kitchen carpet runner. It came quickly, was packaged perfectly and it looks fabulous in my kitchen. I wanted to have something soft underneath me feet when prepping food or washing dishes since we do not wear shoes in the house and this is perfect. Just enough cushioning. It’s washable so I’ll update this review after I wash it. The colors and the design are beautiful. And the pricing is very fair. I have zero complaints.

Different shade than my runners
I own two of the runners in this same pattern so ordered a small rug to put in front of our fridge. As you can tell from the photo they are different shades of charcoal. The one on the right is a more subtle charcoal and the new small rug is a deeper charcoal. Don’t get me wrong, I love the rugs. I just wish they matched because they are both in my kitchen and the other runner is in the adjacent laundry room so you can see all three when you walk in and the small one looks out of place.

Don’t wait to get this hallway carpet runner
After living in this house for decades with a bare wood hallway floor, we finally decided to buy a carpet runner. It’s mainly so our senior dog doesn’t slip and slide around on the floor so much. But we humans love it, too. I wish we bought this rug years ago. The built-in non-slip backing is wonderful, and the color/design is very pleasant. It’s thin enough that it is not a tripping hazard. This rug really suits our needs.

Long time fan of Maples Rugs, just a brand that works for me
I’m a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot.Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage.When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had.One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. Can be washed in washer no problem.

This rug is so pretty and adds color and coziness to the area you put it in. No bad smell and fit as described. Worth the purchase and you won’t regret buying it! Very satisfied! Cute and good quality for the price
Forgive the mess, should have taken pictures before Thanksgiving meal prep. These made me happy right out of the box! Colors are great for my space, they adhere to the floor and stay in place. They are washable which is a plus, but I haven’t washed them yet. Probably need it now lol. I’ve never put a rug in the kitchen before and I LOVE IT! We do a lot in our kitchen and it’s always dirty in front of the island. This helps greatly to just shake crumbs off outside. The kitchen rug is showing wear from the constant foot traffic so I imagine it will need replaced annually, we shall see. But at this price point I am still tickled with this amazon purchase and will continue to buy these over the ugly Costco options I’ve been buying. They are nice and soft on the feet. What are you waiting for? Just buy it.

I am very pleased with the colors. A delicious merlot, for the holidays. The tans and the blues in it fit my color scheme and this overall is going to be nice for winter season. I have the tan one and it is still very fresh looking. I would like to see one in sage/green background or a medium to light blue background. Very easy to care for so far.

Something Changed in the Past Year
UPDATED REVIEW: I contacted the company and they very generously made this situation right by sending me two rugs that match. It speaks volumes for customer service and choosing companies that are in the USA. The rugs are of excellent quality and the colors are vibrant. I highly recommend buying a Maples rug.I ordered this rug a year ago and could not have been happier. I loved everything about it. The colors were perfect for my kitchen. I decided to order another one for my kitchen during the winter months. I could not have been more disappointed. The rug was not the same quality and the colors all looked faded.The background color (grey) on the one from last October was deep; the new one is light and washed out.The colors in the design of the new one are not as vibrant and saturated as the one I ordered last year. Looking at the two rugs, you would think the new one was the one which had been washed repeatedly during the past year and subjected to sunlight. But that’s not the case. The one from last year looks as good as the day I bought it. The rug from this year looks like a rag.I’m debating on returning it, but really want the second rug for when we are tracking in snow this winter.

I love the pattern of this rug! It is fairly thin, and I was aware of that because I have a larger one from a different source. My only issue with it is that it almost seems like a “second” because the binding on the corners is not very good, and I will need to be very careful when I vacuum it. I purchased the smaller door mat sized rug and it does not have the binding issues on the corners.

Best carpets for dogs slipping off on floors
My house is mostly tile with very few area rugs. My 16 year old lab was falling down a lot before she passed away. So we bought several of these. They stick the best to tile floors out all the rugs I ordered. I’m actually buying 4 more right now, for another old dog if ours. We have the last ones away not thinking.

This is my second on of these Lahome Vintage Small Area Rug- 2×3 Entryway Rug Ultra-Thin Soft Kitchen Rug Non-Slip Indoor Door Mat Geometric Distressed Throw Carpet Washable Rugs for Entryway Bathroom Bedroom….not because it wore out, but because I changed my decor color. It does spice on Pergo flooring.
The reason I bought this rug was for my senior dog that needs a little help jumping up to the sofa. If she has some traction under her paws she can do it easily, but if she doesn’t she will biff on the sofa and hurt herself. I was a little leery to buy this rug because some people had said that it slips, but I tried it anyway and it is beautiful and it does not slip! Also, it is thin enough that I know I’ll be able to throw it in the washer when the inevitable pee accident happens on it.

We just moved into our new house and it has acres of wood floors. I purchased several of these rugs. They are perfect, and can be washed. The Roomba vacuums them nicely. Love the way they look and feel. For the price these rugs can’t be beat. I have 6 of the 2.6×10 runners. Pop them in the washer when needed… also have 2 7×10 and plan to wash them on the patio.
