I have bought Hanes’ sweatshirts for 50 + years, and I will continue to buy them. Some in the closet are going on 25 years, and still get worn. I got the Demin Blue and the Metalic Teal in M size. The product specs say the Teal is 80 cotton and 20 poly. Not true; the label says 50-50. No matter. These are lightweight and extremely comfortable, just great for a Texas winter, spring and fall. Paid $14 each, and consider it a high value bargain.

I got this shirt for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loved the color and the texture of the shirt. He’s a size medium and I got the shirt in a size medium, it fit him perfectly. It’s a little thin, it’s more like a long sleeve shirt instead of a sweater. It’s very soft and overall, the shirt is great. My boyfriend wants it in more colors!

It’s a very light/thin sweater. I personally didn’t want it to be thick. I was looking for a light sweater to run errands in with a toddler in a south Texas winter. This sweater is perfect for the job. It’s nothing to brag about but definitely gets the job done. I’ve washed it several times, once accidentally drying it in high heat and it hasn’t shrunk. It’s soft inside and hasn’t pilled.Since it’s a men’s sweater, the cut is very straight shaped (as expected). It’s not a problem for me but it should be noted for any women who are considering it that have a curvy frame.I’m 5’2, 128lbs and bought a small.I plan on buying more in different colors.

In my original review, I said good true size but I have a problem with sweatshirt shrinking so I’m normally an extra large and went to a 2X which was a little baggy but I don’t mind because once I wash it and throw in the dryer for a few minutes before I hang dry it will shrink quite a bit. I’m kind of picky. On the way things fit on me, I took measurements before and after I know I’m one of those people but I have to make sure I like the feel and look of the product so far I am happy with a 2X extra large is not bad as my weight I’m 245 and 5’8

I am 5’8, 140, 36B. If I wanted the sweatshirt to fit correctly I would have probably ordered a small and just fit loose enough a medium but I ordered a large as I knew I would be wearing something underneath and also knew I might wear with leggings. It is not thick or heavy and the white is somewhat see through but a tank top or t shirt takes care of that and offers the layering so if I get hot I can take it off. The arm length is great. I only gave it 4 stars because it had a small blue ink stain I didn’t notice until after I washed it and couldn’t exchange. I washed in cold and line dried so I cannot speak of shrinkage but my guess is there wouldn’t be any or much at all.

I wanted a lighter weight, non-hoodie sweatshirt that would be soft and yet a good fit. High expectations I know. But this came through. So much so that I ordered another set. They are quite comfortably soft and they remind me of my North Face shirt. Lightweight and yet they stop the wind rather well. So I use two of them as work shirts and two of them as general wear shirts. They have been through the laundry a dozen times and the elastic shows no signs of getting loose.

I got the light gray and navy colors, both are perfect for simple outfits to pair with jeans and sneakers. I might get more to wear around the house, they give me that “comfy” feeling without being heavy.
