These are great if you have children or pets! Even if they’re knocked off, they won’t start a fire!I found the gold candles a little too flashy for my taste, but I just put a plant in front of them.As far as the “flickering” of the candles, they do flicker but it doesn’t look realistic. However, from a distance, it’s not noticeable.The timer & remote are great ideas!

These are generally pretty good for what they are, but I feel like the pictures and description are a bit misleading. I was expecting a “flame” that actually has some motion to it. The plastic ‘flame’ on these candles is completely static–it doesn’t move–and the flame effect is nothing more than a flickering of the light’s brightness.

The media could not be loaded. I like these candles a lot. I bought 3 sets from different brands and these are the only I’m keeping.- I don’t notice a big difference in brightness between the 5 different levels, HOWEVER the flicker effect is much more realistic at the lower 3. At setting 5 it looks more like a slow pulsing and the flicker seems washed out, but I could see some people preferring this if they find the flickering distracting.- FYI: We also have one of the expensive “moving” flameless candles and I prefer these over that one.- The wick and “flame” look better on these vs other brands I bought. One of the others had a small round plastic piece at the base of the wick and it completely ruined the illusion for me. The wick goes straight into the candle and looks more realistic with these.- The smokey grey glass adds a mirror effect that helps the illusion of real candles. These are sitting on my coffee table and do a pretty good job of fooling the eye. Both me and my partner have had brief moments of panic when we placed flammable things on or near them …then remembered they aren’t actually hot or on fire 😄.- I also love the remote. You have to hold it at the right angle to get all 3, but it works fine and the timer setting is awesome when it turns off/on automatically each day.

These are pretty, but they don’t look real. The flame is the most realistic I’ve seen, and the color is nice (not the weird orange that some faux candles have). But the flicker is more of an unnatural blinking. When they’re clustered together and the brightness is turned down, they’re pretty. But separately, the blinking just doesn’t look natural.

The media could not be loaded. They have a beautiful silver coating on the outside and glow when turned on. I have them on a timer that turns on a night and off during the day. It’s so calming without worrying about real fire hazards. I can fall asleep to the glow the candle light or have them on under the TV creating an ambience of relaxation and pleasure. I would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. These each take two AA batteries (not included) and each candle has an on/off switch on the bottom. The remote I cannot seem to get the back off of it. It isn’t currently working. However, I’m hoping I can have my husband figure out how to open it up. Even without the remote, I love the candles. They are an easy way to make our basement space a little cozier without using scents or real candles that many people are sensitive to.
