Nice shorts. These are really well made shorts with great sewn seams even though the material seems a little thin. My one complaint – besides this version not being available in a 10.0″ or 10.5″ inseam – is that the pockets are short. Phones aren’t getting any smaller unfortunately. The extra hidden pockets are kind of cool. Dockers why not introduce a modern cut with a slight taper next spring?

I’m 5’10” but with long legs(size 34 length pants) and I always struggle finding the right length shorts for different occasions.5” inseam shorts for super casual beach/pool/sports days/ shoes with no socks are a must at this length7” inseam for casual all around indoor and outdoor you can get away with wearing shoes with socks if their athletic shoes8” inseam for dinner/church or something formal(ish) where older folks might not want to see as much skin/ you aren’t trying to have your moon white thighs showing hahahaha!You should be wearing shoes with socks or at least something nice(ish) can be athletic shoes but preferable not flip flops or sandals.9” inseam was always too long, if you are actively trying to look worse so as not to tempt those around you, go for it… but this length has always given off the “dad went shopping on his own and saw those on sale” vibe.

I have been looking for the model 887035213281 also referred to as 354120010 Five-Pocket (Cell-Phone Pocket on Side) for years. This previous version was made in Cambodia and replaced with the Flex shorts with the polymer pockets and the security pocket was a zippered pocket, which had a 10.5″ inseam (made in China).This most recent short is almost the exact same shorts as the ones made in Cambodia. The minor differences are … 8″ in-seam versus 9″. Coin pocket in right pocket instead of left pocket. Otherwise it is the same all cotton shorts with cotton pockets.
