I highly recommend it. This is my second purchase of this air-fryer. We’ve used a few different brands, but this seemed the most effective and easiest to use. This air fryer works very well. Easy to use

Works Great! Loving my new air fryer. I wanted something that could help me prepare meals quickly after a long day of work. Cooking generally takes me about an hour daily, this has taken over half of that time and given it back to me. So far, I’ve made wings, salmon, fries, mozzarella sticks, and spring rolls. I’m still getting the hang of the correct temperature and time to cook things, but the process is so incredibly easy. I bought liners and it makes the process a breeze to clean up. Even so, if I have to use the basket without a liner, I love that I can take the entire basket, handle and all, and drop it into my dishwasher for easy cleanup. If you’re torn between your choice of air fryers, this is a great one, and a decent price point. Try it out!

    Best appliance since the microwave!!!

Been having this fryer for 2 weeks now and it has NOT rested yet. I LOVE IT & wonder how I’ve gone this long w/out one. Before I start bragging on this thing, I am by no way endorsed by Ninja or getting paid by them. I’ve owned a few Ninja products blenders and still have one that’s over 10 years old. They make quality machines. This fryer is a life & time saver…especially if you’re a lazy cook. I have been researching air fryers for the past few months and nothing comes close to the Ninja. The basket size isn’t the large 5+ quart capacity like the bigger fryers, (Ninja is only 4qt), but this thing cooks so fast you won’t miss the extra 1 qt. It comes w/ a crisper that works perfectly, a recipe book and a multi-layer rack. The first night I had it I made wings and I tell you that I will NEVER buy fried chicken again!!! Yes, they were that crispy and tasted much better. I bought the Louisiana fried chicken flour from Walmart, battered the wings, spritzed w/ a little olive oil and had fried chicken in 10 minutes. No greasy mess, no 3rd degree burns from hot oil, and your house doesn’t smell like a chicken joint for 4 days afterward. Because the Ninja uses a ceramic coating on their fryers the clean up is very easy. Next, I made sweet potato fries! Had a bag of frozen ones in the freezer and popped those babies in for 10 min. They were crispier than McDonald’s. I tried homemade fries but the procedure takes too long. You have to peel, slice, soak potatoes, dry them…I’m just ready to pop them in the fryer and eat! It has been nonstop air fryer cooking in this house! I hit youtube to get a few recipes and it’s been on ever since. What I like best about this fryer is it has a dehydrator feature and how fast it cooks. Frozen chicken wings? No problem! Throw them in the fryer for 10 minutes and they’re defrosted. I’ve cooked pizza, fries, wings, reheated food, fried zucchini, and tonight I baked a chocolate cake. Everything came out perfect! Next up is donuts! The only thing I don’t like about this fryer is 30 seconds after it finishes cooking it shuts off. I know this is a safety feature but I always have more items to cook. In 2 weeks, I have used my microwave twice, and that was to reheat coffee. Before I forget, I did cinnamon rolls too! I used the canned Pillsbury ones and it normally takes 20 min in the oven. In the Ninja? 8 minutes and that’s if you like them brown. I actually could have stopped it at 5 min and they would be perfect. My house smelled like a Cinnabon factory!😛 I have used every feature on this fryer except the dehydrator but I’ll be making beef jerky soon. Overall, I am VERY pleased! The best selling feature was the price & the size. The Ninja is much slimmer than some of the bulkier fryers and fits under my cabinet nicely. I’m also happy it only used 1500W unlike some of the larger fryers that burn 1800 which could kill your light bill. The outside of the fryer doesn’t get hot so you won’t have to worry about getting burned but do take caution when taking your food out. Is it loud? My exhaust fan on my stove is louder than the Ninja. The extension cord on it is long so you don’t have to worry about being limited on where you can place it. I think I’ve covered everything? This thing is THE BOMB! If you’re wondering what cookware you can use, just about anything you place in a microwave you can put in the Ninja. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a few 7″ foil pans I use to reheat food & bake in. Also, grab you some silicone tongs while you’re there so you don’t scratch the surface of your fryer. This thing has been almost as good as a kid getting a new bike for Christmas. You will NOT be disappointed w/ this purchase. Happy & healthy cooking!

    Most used appliance

This air fryer is a game-changer in the kitchen! It’s perfect for making crispy and delicious fried foods with little to no oil. The results are amazing! 🍗🍟One of the things I love about this air fryer is its versatility. It can do so much more than just fry. You can also use it to roast, reheat, and dehydrate your favorite foods. It’s like having multiple appliances in one! 🥦🍤The cooking performance of the Ninja AF101 is top-notch. It heats up quickly and evenly, ensuring that your food is cooked to perfection every time. And with its large capacity, you can easily cook meals for the whole family. 🍽️🔥Cleaning up is a breeze too! The non-stick coating makes it easy to wipe clean, and the basket and tray are dishwasher-safe for added convenience. No more scrubbing for hours after enjoying your delicious meal! 🧽🚿Overall, I highly recommend the Ninja AF101 Air Fryer. It’s a versatile and efficient kitchen appliance that will take your cooking to the next level. Say goodbye to greasy fried foods and hello to healthier, crispy deliciousness! 🙌🍗🔥

    it’s a countertop convection oven

I despise the term, “air fryer.” It doesn’t fry. It’s a tiny friggin convection oven. Anyway, my OVEN works great. I like the temperature control and timer. I wish it had a preheat option – I have to reset my timers after I let it heat. But it makes food quick and easy with simple cleanup.

Sorry I waited so long to buy this!

Traditional cook here. I had asked friends and relatives a few years ago how they liked using the air fryers they’d bought, and the answers were about 50-50 good/bad. Too big, too heavy, rather use an oven, and so on. So I held off. Then I decided I should try to learn something new in the kitchen, and found this little Ninja for such a good price that if I found I didn’t like it I hadn’t lost much. The only thing I’m sorry about is that I waited so long to buy one. This thing makes the BEST fried chicken! That was the first thing I tried, and it was enough to convince me that if I didn’t use it for anything else it was worth it for the chicken! But it’s versatile way past just chicken. I’m still learning, adapting my traditional way of cooking things to using the air fryer to make them. Roasted brussels sprouts, baked sweet potatoes, rolls; all good. Oh, and barbeque! Anything you can put barbeque sauce on is going to get a really good cooked-in flavor. There was a little cookbook included in the purchase, and I’ll use it to learn from, but looking forward to experimenting and finding what all I can do with this terrific little appliance. It’s the right size for two people, maybe for four. Good purchase, good learning, and some really good cooking!

Easy to use, food tastes great

We love this air fryer!! It reheats Golden Chick tenders to taste almost better than when fresh. I had been deep frying breaded meats and bought this to see if I could stop using all that oil and still get good taste. Yes, I can!! Clean up is easy. We have trusted the Ninja brand for many years and this machine seems to be of the same quality.

    Baby’s first air fryer.

Since I’ve received this product, I’ve used it multiple times per week and have been pretty satisfied with it. I don’t really do anything too crazy with it; just the standard frozen foods that are typically fried like french fries, onion rings, tater tots, chicken nuggets, etc. It’s a bit hit or miss and takes some tweaking to get food just right, but you learn where to make adjustments as you go. Unfortunately, most air fryer instructions for foods assume that you’re making a lot of food at once, so it’s hard to get a gauge on things. I’m making a handful of fries at a time, not a pound or a bag, so you develop your own times in your head. I’ve only ever set it to the default of 390 degrees, so I can’t really offer much insight on how it performs at different temperatures.Food turns out fine. If you’re unfamiliar, air fried food doesn’t really taste like it’s been fried. The texture of the food falls somewhere between baking and frying, with food being generally crispy but a bit drier than usual since there’s a lack of oil. Thankfully, this air fryer is consistent in its cooking as long as you don’t crowd the basket. If you are crowding the basket to make a lot of food at once, you should constantly pull the basket out and shake it to redistribute the food so that things cook evenly. It does cook things quickly, so that’s great, and it spares me from having to preheat my oven and warm up my house. My biggest gripe is that it’s a pain to clean. You only really have to just pull the basket out and clean that, but there seems to be an issue with the non-stick surface on the basket. Even if you fill it with boiling hot water and Dawn dish soap and scrub it with a sponge using some solid elbow grease, there always seems to be a ring of residue left behind right at the level of where the food rests on the tray at the bottom of the basket. I’ve used a variety of cleaners on it and nothing seems to strip off that ring of gunk because it seems to be embedded into the basket somehow. I’ve consistently cleaned the air fryer after every single fry, so it’s not like I’m allowing it to accumulate over the course of multiple fries, and that ring doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.Outside of that, I’m mostly satisfied with the product. It preheats in just 3 minutes and saves me a lot of hassle to make small batches of quick meals, and food quality is solid. I just wish that the surface of the basket were a bit higher quality non-stick.

    Easy and efficient

I will preface this with the only con of this product, it’s pretty small. If you are cooking for a family or meal prepping, you will have to do multiple batches or get the bigger one. Sometimes I don’t have enough room and I overstuff it and it just doesn’t cook super well- but that’s on me not the product.Everything else is great, heats up super quick, easy to clean, easy to figure out. Makes killer fries for sure.

This may be the gift you didn’t know you needed…

I waited an impossibly long time to write a review for the Ninja Air Fryer [AF101.]My mom was savy enough to sign up for a text from Amazon.com and received notification when this went on sale. So, she paid less than this Air Fryer typically sales for… This being said, I think it comes down to what you enjoy eating most.If you enjoy dishes, which largely come from a Pyrex and have a mix of ingredients…Then, this won’t be for you. If you enjoy fine dining like Strip Steak, fancy mushroom sauces, or gourmet salads. This won’t be for you. However, if you know someone who has very limited cooking skills and/or heats/bakes snacks for younger kids. This Ninja Air Fryer may be your best kitchen gadget go-to.As a family, we have tried: Frozen Egg Rolls, Homemade French Fries, and Homemade Salmon Croquettes. If you’ve read other reviews, you know the French Fries were successful. Surprisingly, so were the Salmon Croquettes. [The bread crumbs don’t drift away…] The least successful were the frozen Egg Rolls. They just seem to taste better from the oven, but some home chefs may prefer the Air Fryer. If you are cooking for more than 2 people, I’d suggest splurging on the larger capacity Air Fryer. However, it is easy to use and easy to clean. Just an FYI–it will take some experimentation to get fresh fries right. Especially, if you like thin fries. If you prefer more thick-cut or steak fries, I’d imagine you’d be good to go.Good Luck!

    Useful device

First I gave it five stars as it’s been great to have it in the kitchen! It cooks without oil which is good as I have some health issues wirh digesting oils and my husband avoids calories, and it is healthy at to eat without pan frying. But then I took one star off as it burns good fast and does not have some important features as other air fryers have, such as preheat and half-at through bolero to remind to turn it over. Another little issue is it is too small. It’s literary for two people’s dinner and I like to cook for 2-3 days, which is not a choice. On a good side, it is well made and made out of the good materials, it doesn’t smell and only had little funny smell at the beginning. It doesn’t take too much space. I would say it would be my choice for one person or for two who at very little and cook every day. And don’t forget to use your own timer to turn the food up so it doesn’t bun. Another small tip – use lower temperatures over longer period of time. I cook chicken thighs on 360 for 25-ish minutes and they do not bun. When I do it on 390 for 20 minutes, as suggested, they are overcooked on outside and still bloody on inside. Overall, I like it. Just need to adjust to your own ways of cooking that you like. Good luck with experimenting!

    Perfect for singles

After my husband passed away, I’ve been eating less roasted and pan-fried foods because I hate firing up the stove or oven to cook a little portion. This air fryer is the perfect size to cook for one. I have found that things do cook a lot faster in this than the online air fryer recipes recommend, so I ended up cremating my first attempts. But after I learned to adjust down the cooking time or temperature, I’ve fallen in love with this. This thing cuts cooking time down by almost half over roasting in the oven, and it takes the place of pan searing really well, with the bonus of containing the mess and smell vs pan searing on my cast iron skillet. If you’re new to air frying, you do have to be aware that light things can fly around, so I’ve learned to secure food, especially when I want to brown a sandwich, with a cocktail pick.

    Love this Air Fryer

This air fryer is great! Makes great chicken wings and reheats slices of pizza nicely too. I reheated little chicken pot pies I made in the oven a few days earlier. They tasted way better from the air fryer. This thing is amazing and I don’t know why it took me so long to get one. This is my favorite way to cook now. Everything tastes better. The only negative is that it doesn’t hold a lot of food and if you overfill air fryer it doesn’t cook as well. But overall love this air fryer!!

    Works better than expected

It’s small. Can fit two chicken breasts in it at a time so if you’re cooking for more than two, I’d size up. It’s just me and my daughter so it’s fine for us. And I have a very small kitchen so I had to forgo the one I really wanted and settle for this size. Does not come with the multilayer rack that Ninja says is included with this model. Has a bit of a plastic odor when cooking, hope that fades. On the plus side, it cooks so well I’m upset I waited this long to get one. Fries, chicken breast, vegetables… all come out PERFECT. And I mean perfect. Will definitely be used daily.

Just what I was looking for

I needed an air fryer that was not that big, due to limited space, and this one it’s just perfect, but IT IS NOT SMALL. Ninja appliances are top tier, and this is not the exception. Very good quality, looks durable. Love how it has allowed me to broaden the variety of textures and plates, while not prolonging the time in the kitchen.

I am alive thanks to ninja airfryer

I am too lazy when it comes to housework and cooking. I mostly prefer eating outside because of it. After gaining so much weight, I decided to cook but it was so hard for me, and my friends suggested airfryer for an alternative, after I read the forums I decided on Ninja Airfryer and exceeded my expectations. At first I misread the suggestions and burnt my first meal but after that everything went smoothly. I am mostly cooking juicy tasty meat and crispy french fries with it. I totally suggest this to newbie cooks like me. Have a nice day, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Love it, just be aware it cooks FAST!

I heard a joke that the air fryer is the George Foreman Grill of this generation. Well I love this air fryer and the George Foreman. If has more than enough space for me to cook items for myself, just be aware if you are cooking for a family this is going to be too small for you. It is all non stick so cleaning is pretty fast and the bottom tray lifts out for ease.A big warning, pretty much everything I have cooked (pork, fish and chicken) have been done (reached the internal temp I wanted according to my digital thermometer) well prior to the cook time the instruction book shows. So if you are going to use this I would 100% recommend getting a digital thermometer and start checking it at about 60% of the time they say to cook to completion in the manual.

    Great fryer bad night

Wow, this thing is great. So, we finally broke down and got an air fryer. I read the reviews and for the money this Ninja one looked like the best deal. Let me tell you something this thing is great. So, it cooks faster than an oven but probably slower than deep frying. It produces crisp, good tasting food that is almost as good as fried. As a fatty I got to say I love my fried food. The air fryer tastes much better than baked and better for you than fried. I mean I can tell a difference now, don’t get me wrong. It is not going to taste like French fries deep fried in lard, but its close.I decide I am going to make hot wings. Good idea, right? Well the first batch came out great. Even better than fried because they were a bit crispier. So, I decide I want to have a glass of wine while I cooked. This was my first mistake. God, I wished I had just went with whiskey. So, I insert the corkscrew into the cork and pop, it broke. Oh well, I thought let’s see what the internet has to offer on alternative methods of wine bottle opening. The first option is to screw a screw into the cork then pry it out using the screw as a lever. Well, I can’t do that because the corkscrew is broken off into the cork. The second option said to use a lighter to heat but the air in the neck of the bottle and the cork will rise out. The third option was to place the bottle in a shoe to not break the glass. Then smack the shoe against a wall. I went with option two. Note this was my second mistake. So, I break out the old lighter and start heating the glass up. Mind you I am also flipping my chicken wings in the air fryer while starting to heat up some hot sauce and other ingredients on the stove for my buffalo sauce. I decided I needed help so enlisted my 18-year child to hold the lighter up to the glass while I cooked. No good, this trick isn’t working.I tell him he can stop we are going to go with option three, the shoe. Here comes the third mistake. I grabbed the bottle. Yep you read that right I bare handed the bottle that I had ben applying a direct flame to for over 5 minutes. To top it off I grabbed the neck. This resulted in the most pain I have ever felt in my entire life. This is the pain Atreyu felt when Artax sunk in the swamp of sadness. This was the pain worse than 10 kicks to the balls. This was real pain. Kidney stones have nothing on my hand at this moment. I was done. My hand felt like it had melted to the bottle.Remember my son that I had help me? Well he is still there, and I must look like a man so I can’t cry, but boy did I want to cry. I haven’t wanted to cry this bad sense I watched “Ole yeller”. Despite the pain and fighting back tears. I managed to place the bottle in my shoe and set it on the table. I am still wanted to try that trick.I then went into first aid mode, hand in the sink water running, ahhhh sweet relief. Unfortunately, that was not to last. The cool water only did so much. I decided burn creme would work. Nope don’t have any. Back to the water. Perhaps some ice. Ahhh flip the wings, run the water, check the sauce wait ….The pot isn’t simmering. Why is the cutting board on the stove look funny? Yep mistake four here I come. I turned on the wrong burner and now my plastic cutting board has turned to liquid on my stove. Hand back in water again. I then retrieve my putty knife to scrape the stove clean. This causes wisps of plastic string to go from the stove to the sink. Hand goes back into the water. At some point my son decides to wake the wife. Did I mention this was at about 1 am? She come into the kitchen and sees me. With one shoe one, a bottle of wine on the table inserted into my shoe. Note she mentions that is the shoe I walk into bathrooms in and its on her table. She then notices the burnt cutting board and an abundance of melted plastic in the sink. She then simply asks “hot wings hu?”She is a god wife and wants me to go to the hospital for my possible 3rd degree burns on my hand but me, being a man, I decide I can tuff it out. She ends up getting me more ice and leaving my son in charge to go back to bed once she understands I am not budging on the whole doctor thing.Anyway, in conclusion the hot wings were the best I have ever made. Although eating them one handed was a bit of a chore. I stayed up all night in pain and now I am out of ice. I never did open that bottle of wine. Also, that air fryer rocks.

    I love this air fryer

I really enjoy this air fryer.Pros: It has a lot of fun settings and it’s super easy to use. I love the dehydration option as well as the book that gives you ideas and guidelines of how to cook different items. I’ve been using it for a month now and have very few complaints. It’s the perfect size for one person.Cons: the heating options aren’t customizable. You can only scroll through the different preset options. (Which isn’t the biggest deal) but worth noting. Also, with the dehydration option you can’t fit alot in at once due to the size so it would probably be best to get an actual dehydrator if you want to that to be lore efficient. It’s a good option however if you want to test it out before investing in a separate gadget.Over all I really enjoy the features and simplicity. Just giving 4 stars for the cons above and if those don’t bother you and fit into what you’re looking for, it’s totally worth the investment.

    LOVE IT

Heard all the air-fryer hype? Wondering if you need to jump on the bandwagon too? Yes, yes you do. This thing is great. It cooks fast, clean up is easy, and far less energy and heat of the oven. People crying about clean up are crazy. I keep a cup around to drain off the grease, throw it in the sink with some dish soap and Im done in a minute. Its a great addition to any kitchen.

Finally Joined the Air Fryer Craze!

I finally caved in to the hype and got the Ninja AF101 Air Fryer, and I’m thrilled I did! This thing is a game-changer for quick, easy meals. The versatility to crisp, roast, reheat, and dehydrate in one appliance is mind-blowing. The 4-quart capacity is perfect for my needs. It’s simplified my cooking routine and delivers deliciousness every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking to level up their cooking game!

This air fryer makes quick work out of frying things up or warming up leftovers.

When using the ninja , it only takes a few minutes to warm up and then while you cook , it’s not heating up your kitchen un necessarily . Cooking times are easily half of the usual time needed in an oven.

This thing is fantastic and I use it at least twice a week. You can cook completely frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts in 30 minutes!! Baked potatoes 40 minutes!! and in summer months you are not heating up the house. Did I mention that I love it?

Where has this been all my life? Love my air fryer

Wonderful product. I was doubtful I would use it often, but I use it constantly. Roasting tomatoes for a black rice salad – 6 minute in the air fryer vs 20 minutes in the oven. Chicken wings – scrumptious. Reheat – better than microwave to crisp up food. Easy to clean. I should have bought one sooner. Highly recommend. Easy to use.

    Just what I needed

It’s bigger than I pictured it. I am a full time caregiver for my 88 year old father so time is precious. He loves hamburgers and French fries. The French fries were done before I finished making the sandwich. It’s awesome. No preheating the oven. The fries came out crispy. I love it. Can’t wait to cook other dishes.

    Bought a second one.

After having the same model for several years we replaced it with another. Great air fryer that is easy to use and consistently works the way we’d expect it to. Would like if the container was larger but it works so well, even after regular heavy use. We use this several times a week, whether it’s to reheat leftovers, or cook food fresh, it’s incredibly useful. I prefer using it over the microwave when I can.

The air fryer memes all make sense now!

I’m glad I entered the air fryer club, I’m not dealing with soggy microwave food anymore and I’m not heating up a massive oven for a handful of chicken nuggies or leftovers. I’ll be buying these as gifts for others who don’t own them, they need to get up to speed in the culinary world.

Sceptical to buy air fryer and can’t live without now

We bought this after hearing several people rave about their air fryer. We were skeptical because we’ve bought other small appliances and they just took up space and weren’t all they were cracked up to be.We make everything in this dual bin air fryer. Bacon, frozen chicken nuggets, chicken patties, tator tots, fries, fish and brussel sprouts. Everything turns out wonderful. It’s quick and very easy to clean. If you are considering an air fryer, we love this one!

This is such a great gift for yourself, the college student, your kid living on their own for the first time, the person who either doesn’t like to cook, or doesn’t know how. This air fryer can do just about anything and clean up is easy. Directions are simple. Highly recommend.

    Ceramic lined air fryer

While searching for an air fryer, I was looking for a fryer basket that wasn’t all plastic. This is it! The interior of the basket is ceramic as well as the interior removable plate.I suggest the first few times you use it, to cook something you won’t eat to get the “new smell” out of the fryer. After that, the air fryer is great. Easy to use and clean, plus they provide a quick guide for cook times to reference.

    Very useful little appliance.

As my headline said, I’ve found this air fryer to be a very useful little appliance. It’s great for cooking small meals and reheating leftovers. Maybe not quite as simple and quick as a microwave, but it does a much better job with most food. It doesn’t take up much counter space, is fairly light, and very easy to use.

    Annoying default time

I really don’t like that the timer defaults to 20 minutes. Whenever you air fry something, you’re going to want to preheat the device, which takes 3 minutes. So this is an inconvenience at least half of the time. The air fryer doesn’t have a halfway timer, indicating that it’s time for you to flip your food over or shake the basket, so you’re probably going to want to set it to smaller increments. Like, instead of setting it to 10 minutes, you set it to 6 and 4 minutes, which means the default timer is always inconvenient. You can hold down the button to go from 20 minutes to 15, and then from 15 to 1. It’s nice that it doesn’t take as long to 1 minute as it could have without that feature, but the fact that holding it down for a second still doesn’t result in a useful time is incredibly frustrating. Why not just go from 20 minutes to 5? Or 20 minutes to 1? Or just start at 1 minute! And all of this sounds incredibly minor, and to an extent it is. We are talking about seconds lost here, but there was no reason for it. And they’re not mindless seconds, they’re seconds of focus, as you have to pay attention, because it doesn’t work the way you’d think it would. It’s flat out poor design, and it’s the kind of thing that you’re not going to notice is a problem until you have it.Considering it’s more expensive than other 4 quart air fryers, I’d argue that this alone is enough to make it not worth choosing it over another brand’s. I mean, it’s an appliance. You want it to work and not have to think about it, and this device doesn’t do that.
