There’s absolutely nobody in the world who can look at that duck and think “I need one of those!” The duck is functional. It has 3 brightness levels that can be assed by tapping the duck’s tummy. A fourth tap turns it off. I bought the product because it’s cute and it made me laugh. It still does. I have it on my night stand. I don’t want to waste electricity to have a night light on all night when I’m sleeping. So I tap it when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and then tap it off when I get back to bed. That’s easy enough that I can do it without really wearing up completely. So if you want more lighthearted cuteness in your life, you might as well buy the duck!

My only complaint (and this is a really minor one) is that he’s REALLY sensitive, so if he’s sitting up and you accidentally bump him, you can adjust or turn off the light.

I wish the timer allowed me to set the timer to what works for us, rather than a pre-set length of time. Others have said the battery doesn’t last very long. We have it where it can remain plugged into a power source, so we haven’t experienced that.

I originally bought this because I thought it looked cute and would be a good decoration but I ended up using this all the time. It’s a great like that is brighter then you’d think and the battery lasts a long time. It’s very nice to have when you wake up in the middle of the night and need to get a drink or use the bathroom but don’t wanna turn on the really bright lights so you just tap this little guy and he lights the room up perfectly for you to do what you need to do and lay back down without blinding you. I love how it’s a rechargeable light as well because there isn’t any nasty little cords ruining the look of you desk/nightstand. 10/10 would recommend. Love it!!
