The craftmanship is simply outstanding. Second, it came neatly folded in an adorable reusable bag with a thoughtful little surprise inside! The best part was having Meenakshi personally reach out to me to see in what condition it had arrived in, to give me tips on how to take care of it, and to be sure that I was happy with my purchase. For the price, I was afraid the dimensions would be a little off and the quality would be poor, enough so I would not feel comfortable putting it out on my dining table. However, it’s actually a very nice quality and it looks great on my dining table. It’s both sturdy and soft, and the colors are very true to what it looked like on my display. As others warned, it did come with an odor – mostly on that center section. I was able to get it out fairly easily. First, I soaked it in warm water with detergent and borax. Then, I washed it on gentle cycle with detergent and borax. Both times I air dried it on a rack outside. I let it air out for several days. As of now, there is no odor. It is long enough to accommodate my dining table when I add in the leaves, and it looks nice with my fall centerpieces. It is exactly what I wanted and a good purchase.

This is a fantastic looking table runner. I have noticed on a lot of the reviews people are talking about the smell that gives off. I would say the smell reminds me of a cellar, It’s not unpleasant and it doesn’t smell damp or anything it’s just a very specific smell. But the smell faded within about two days and even then it wasn’t overpowering it was only when you went close to it and sniffed. I’ve washed it a couple of times and there is no smell now.

When the package arrived, I was a little thrown off by the material and it feeling “cheap.” It feels more plastic-y than cloth. After I took it out of the packaging, it was impossible for me to get the fold marks out. I washed it (I didn’t see if it came with proper instructions so I could’ve washing it wrong) but the fold marks were still present. So then I tried steaming it and that didn’t work either. I decided to just try it out anyway, and luckily after a week or two the fold marks did disappear so I was happy about that. Also realized it was more of a spill resistant material which is why it has a more plastic texture, so it’s very easy to clean up small spills on.

First of all the natural table runner is gorgeous! The tassel edges are sewn together for shipping reasons to prevent them from tangling, this is really considerate design. Just the style and extra long length I was looking for! It has no strange smells, I am satisfied with this.

I liked that I they provided me with a good description of the product . I could visualize where I could put this weaving and I was very pleased at the work that went into creating this piece. Instead of macrame weaving that is hanging on the wall..I wanted to .visualize the impact it would make on the top of my table. So I was able to put this table runner on an ancient bureau in the living room from the thirties. It looks great there. I cut some from the fringes so as not to attract my cat (who is not allowed up there anyway). Now, I have a great global style- weaving . I am hoping this macrame piece will last for years. It is a great idea and for me, . It is definitely worth the price.

When I got them they had a bad odour, so I washed them. They wrinkle extremely easy if washed and require you to steam them to get the wrinkles out. Really nice look and feels though.

When the package got here I was like “wait this can’t be it” because it was small. But a hen I opened the package the runner unfolded beautifully! I was so surprised by its packaging but very happy with its size! I steamed the fringe to straighten them a bit which took no time at all. Definitely makes a difference in the dining room. Buy it!!

I did not have high expectations given the price point. When it arrived, the colors were highly saturated, almost too intense for my room. Thought for sure after I washed it the first time the colors would fade out and be a bit more subdued, but to my surprise there was NO color loss and I did not need to iron it or anything. It still looks brand new. If I could keep the dang cats off it, my table would look beautiful.

This table runner seems like a great quality. It is thicker, but also lays flat and without wrinkles. The stitching appears to be uniform and the overall look is really nice. I wasn’t sure how I felt until I set it up on our table and found it to be super pretty. The only issue (and reason for star-loss), would be because it was unclear that the length measurement includes the tassels, so it is unfortunately a bit short (or the exact length of my table) with tassels. I would have been disappointed, but I would not have gotten it otherwise, because it is a bit too short unfortunately. If not for that lack of clarity and length-issue, it would be perfect and lovely overall.

These are absolutely adorable but after the first wash be prepared to iron them if you ever want to use them functionally again. They literally ball completely up in the dryer and require an iron to get them close to using again.
